Combats what a real one? Hey, babies, it's joining Yvonne and welcome back to my channel! So today I'm going to show you guys this really easy: half up half down hairstyle using the her given hair clip ins! So I'm going to focus on the back of my hair first. The first thing I want to do is flat twist the back of my hair. I'M not doing this in any particular way. There'S I'm! You know, I'm not being neat. You can be neat if you want to, but it really doesn't matter nobody's going to see it, so I'm just flat twisting the back of my hair so that I can put the clip ins over it. So you know, of course, flat twisting you're just going to take two sections on your hair and you're just going to twist your hair down. Now, I'm just going to repeat the process all over the back of my head. As you can see, these are absolutely not neat. You know it doesn't have to be neat at all. This is what it looks like all done. All my flat twists are ready and prepped to go. So the next thing you want to do is measure your clip ends. These clip ins have four clips and then they there's a few that I got to have three. So I'm just trying to figure out whether I need the one with you know the longer weft with the four clips or the shorter one with the three Clips and they need the four Clips. So I'm just refreshing the clip ends with some water. This is what I like to do after a few days, or so just to kind of freshen them up and rejuvenate the curl. The curl pattern, I'm just running my fingers through it. The hair is really really soft. As you can see, it's no shedding happening at all and now they're ready to go installing clip-ins is really just a one-two-three process. It'S literally like the easiest thing I've ever done in my life you're just going to put them on your hair and you're just going to snap and clip I'm installing the clip ends, maybe about an inch and a half or half an inch. I'M sorry a half an inch apart, just because I want the back of my hair to be really really full and half like that, really big afro kind of a look. So this is what it should look like when you're all finished so now. Of course you want to hide the track of the clip in so I'm just taking comb and I'm just parting, my hair, to cover up the track. You know you guys get what I'm saying to cover up the track of my hair. So you don't see you know so that it blends and that it just looks like it's coming right out of my scalp, and this doesn't have to be super neat. I mean you want to try to get it as neat as possible. So it looks like you, you tried, but mine didn't come out. Super me super neat, but I didn't mind it like it was fine. So once that's done, I like to brush my hair into the clippings just to kind of make it a little bit easier to blend, but to really really get it to blend. Absolutely perfectly. I just like to take my hair and some hair from the clippings and twist them together to rejuvenate it. Still I like to wet it, you know our hair is best styled when it's wet, so I like to just wet my hair in the clippings and just kind of do like a twist out, and I don't twist them all the way down to the ends, not Necessary just want to twist, whatever part of your hair will be left out. So this is what my twists look like all done so now that that's finish, I'm focusing on the top of my hair. Once again, my handy dandy spray bottle, I'm just a wedding. All of my hair on the top, I want to get it nice and wet, so it's easy and soft to detangle and to comb through and using my pick, I like to stretch my hair out so that it's super duper easy to put it in a ponytail Or in a bun, because my hair is not super long using a hair tie, I just I like to use longer hair ties and double tie em, just because it gives me a really really nice secure ponytail. Now, using my eco styler gel, I'm literally just going to slap this all over my head, you guys always ask me on instagram snapchat everything how I get my edges to lay, and I show you guys in like almost every video. This is what I use to lay my edges, some kind of gel. If it's not eco styler, it is going to be clear ice gel and I just put them. I put the gel all over my hair and I like to take a hard brush. This is major key get a hard brush. My brush has two sides, it has a hard side and it has a soft side. I got this brush from Walmart, you literally take the hard side and you brush your hair. Like that's all you do you brush your hair with the gel on it and it changed my life like I'm, not even joking when I got this brush this like changed everything for me with my edges, and I like to just keep my hair tied overnight. I love keeping my hair tied overnight because it's just more secure of a you know my my hair stays laid down all day, but if you're in a rush, I'd say at least give it 20 minutes 15 to 20 minutes, so tie your hair up while you're Doing your makeup, or you know, while you're getting dressed or eating breakfast or whatever you're doing so now. This is the next day and, as you can see it, my hair is completely laid, and all I have to do is take out the twist that I created and, as you can see, you can't even tell where my hair and the clip ends meet or end Or begin or whatever you want to say it blends absolutely perfectly so now to make my bun a little bit more full I'm taking the clip ends with the three clips, since those are the shortest clip ends that I have, and I'm just clipping them around. My bun, then you're just going to take the hair and you're just going to wrap your hair in a bun as you would as if you know your hair was actually this long. I mean you have to play with it for a little while just to get it in your desired look, but once you do, I just take a bobby, pin just a regular, bobby, pin and pin it in place, and that is it. It is so cute. I'Ve been wanting to do this hairstyle for so long and I'm so glad that I finally am able to do it now. That is the finished. Look you guys. I hope you all enjoyed this tutorial as much as I loved filming it. For you. Please make sure you subscribe to my channel for more natural hair. Christine Sumo: Cute Style. Be careful with hard brushes it can damage kinky hair textures overtime. Soft "Boar" Bristle brushes are more safe for our hair type. Also, by putting a leave- in conditioner 1st before applying gel will help the hair to maintain moisture (since gel dries out the hair strands). Hope that helps.
