Hello guys welcome back to my channel today we're going to focus on how to prepare your extensions for installation, rather you're going to be installing them sewing it to your head, making a full wig, half wig clippings, you name it! This video I'm going to demonstrate to you how to properly prepare your hair for installation, the hair that I will be using for this video will be from Aliexpress. It is the steam ahead. It is the Brazilian deep wave curly. I have four bundles, along with a lace frontal in a few steps. I'M going to show you guys exactly how I prepare my hair for installation so step one when dealing with the lace. Frontal is definitely optional, but I would definitely recommend it that you guys bleach your frontals, although a lot of you guys may not be comfortable with it. Maybe you know someone that can properly do it for you, but I would definitely recommend getting the knots bleached on your front, so will definitely help with customizing and making it look a whole lot natural than what it is now. So what I have on hand is some law real, quick, blue lifting bleach and I'm gon na be taking 30 volume developer and I'm just gon na mix it up until it gets pretty pasty pretty thick is what I like to work with when bleaching my knots And a little thing that I like to do honestly, I don't like bleaching knots on anything. It'S time-consuming. It really is, but one thing that I've noticed that you have to take your time with this, I like to do the DAP not the day of a but just dabbing it on there very slowly now spit this up, so you guys wouldn't have to sit and Watch this for a while, but truthfully take your time and just dab it on there or tap tap tap the products, so it doesn't spill through the lace and get on their hair strands. Once you finish that you're gon na take some foil, wrap it up and let it process for a good, maybe 40 minutes, 45 minutes. During that time, you guys you have to check it to make sure that the hair is processing properly. Okay. So what I'm doing now is I'm checking and making sure that I'm not over processing it, making sure that it is lifting to the level that I want it to be lifted. It looks pretty good to me so now, I'm going to rinse and shampoo, you can use shimmering lights or any other purple toned violet tone shampoo to help with the brassiness that may appear when bleaching the nuts. Now it is time to prepare your bundles just to give you guys a brief, take back to see what the bundles look like before really nice, but truthfully once we Co wash this you guys those curls are going to pop, oh, my goodness. First, what we want to do is I'm going to shampoo and condition the hair, so first with the closure, I'm going to take my good old, trusty Tresemme love this stuff. This is Tresemme, moisture, rich, the shampoo and the conditioner. This stuff is really good. I just like to lather it up and maybe shampoo it just so that I know that it's clean. I don't want to overdo it, so we start with the shampoo first work that through and the key to making sure that your hair doesn't get tangled, and it's all in one piece. You guys use a big tooth comb and just run your hands through it. Like you don't have to mush it up, you don't have to scrunch it and do all that you just let the water glide through the water is going to rinse everything else. You don't have to do a lot with your hands. Your hands are really used just to get the product on there and squeeze it out. That'S all we're doing it, putting it on there and squeezing it out rinse and squeeze rinse and squeeze that's that's the technique today. That'S the technique, so we're gon na follow it with conditioner, taking a big tooth comb like this one. Here. Only when I'm conditioning the hair is when I detangle, so I don't detangle the hair, while I'm shampooing, I don't detangle it when it's drenching wet. I put the conditioner on the hair and I detangle and once you do, that I let the conditioner sit so we're gon na do this for each bundle. I watch I wash each bundle separately so we're going to remove the paper from the bundle, but we're not going to unravel it completely. Yet we're going to do that when it's time for it to dry so same deal here, you guys we're going to shampoo and condition I like to keep the hair wrapped up in the rubber band. That way, the hair doesn't get tangled or it doesn't try to map on you, because with this hair texture, because it's a very curly, deep, wavy hair texture, it's bound to do that. So personally, I like to keep it all wrapped together until it's time for the hair to dry, so continue this for each bundle, I'm shampooing then conditioning and I'm letting the conditioner sit. So once I get done with that last bundle, I let the conditioner sit on that last bundle for like maybe five minutes at the most and then I go back and I'm gon na rinse out all the conditioner from the closure from all the other bundles. Okay, see my baby right. There we face time in each other, he's with this grandma right now, so yeah give me some time to record on a day off like this, which is good, but I always miss my baby, so he could be gone for like two hours and I'm FaceTime, whoever You wish so yeah once it is time to rinse. This is when I like to do tango, so I like to detangle when the conditioners on the hair right before it sit, and then I like the D tango after I rinse before I let the hair air dry, but that makes sense. So during this process, you guys you don't have to do a lot. You just need to squeeze out the water, take a t-shirt and just squeeze out the remaining water that may be left in the hair. You don't need to scrunch it. You don't need to to mush it up or anything like that. Take a big tooth comb, comb out all the kinks and then optional, but I'm telling you this is this. Is this is pretty dope here? You guys take some Moroccan argan oil, any oil of your choice there. Currently I'm loving the Moroccan argan oil, put it on damp hair. Let the hair ears right, amazeballs, amazing, and you see how those curls are popping for you, that's exactly what you want. The hair did not look like that after you took it out the package, so this is a good idea to do when you can drink to install your hair, so we're gon na finish up pretty much each bundle now once it's time to let the hair air Dry after I rinsed out all the conditioner from the bundles. Now is the time you can unravel the rubber band and let the bundle breathe so that you can, I so that it can air dry properly. This step can be a little difficult because, especially dealing with curly hair like this, it can tangle up very easily and I'm gon na show you guys exactly how I do it. I take my time, although this is sped up for you guys. I take my time and then wrap up the entire bundle, and then I like to fold it a few times just so that I can fit it onto a hanger and let it air dry. This is key to do this when the hair is damp, because if you try doing this on dry hair or if it's soaking, the hair, it's not gon na work for you. So listen when I tell you guys do this as your last step when the hair is damp, so it will untangle for you, because just the hair is gon na get tangled without a doubt, without a doubt, it's gon na tangle, for you guys so add your Moroccan argan oil to the hair, like I said I like to fold it up, so I can hang it on the hanger like that. It makes air drying so much easier, so much easier, so yeah what if the hair tangles? This is what you do, and this is what you don't do. There'S your knot right there, it's gon na happen. It happened to us all you're going to finger comb a little bit of it, you're not going to push it all the way through. If it stops like that, you take that comb out and you start at the end and work your way up start at the end of the hair and work your way up, comb out that tangle, voila, you're, welcome after you let your hair air-dry, I wan na, Say the hair was dry with them, maybe two to three hours after having it sit on a hanger and look at these curls. This hair is completely dry all four bundles. Looking across now, the hair did not look like that. You guys out of the package. It will be all dry and stiff; no, these curls aren't popping. So I hope you guys enjoyed this tutorial as always. Leave your questions below and don't forget to subscribe and share with a friend. Like always, I love you guys and thanks for all your support, be sure to check out my previous video and stay tuned. I will have videos with this hair, I'm going to show you how to customize unit as well as customize your front tools. You see in the next video guys
