Wigs Are Jewelry For Your Head - Yes, You Can Wear Color!

Hi everyone, my name, is Shelley. Welcome back to another episode of wigs uh jewelry for go ahead, I'm here today with my two friends Amy and Jasmine. Unfortunately, I can't get the camera to show their names, but this is Amy and this is jet. This is Jasmine and Jasmine is an average head, size, seven and a half inches and about 21 inches circumference Amy is petite. She has a six and a half inch face and a little over 19 almost 20 inch circumference. I am larger. I have a nine and three quarter inch face and almost 23 inches on my circumference, so it'll give you an idea how different wigs look on different will. Look on you, you all right. So one of my viewers asked me to Showcase a white wig. So that's what I have on right now, it's just a Sally white like um. I just got this one at my wig store in Ocala um on a clearance rack, so it's kind of cute. I haven't actually gotten rid of the Box. Yeah yeah, but it'll give you an idea what it looks like see if I can get the back in okay, all right um. This video today is going to be just a Showcase of colors, so we are going to go through a ton of wigs right now. I'M not going to bother with explaining all the cap features and everything you can look at some of my other videos and if this particular one you want to see again I'll, be happy to show it to you all right um this weekend. The reason I'm rushing through this a little bit is because this weekend, Tia Maria is having a wig sale on colors all different colors, and I don't think anyone should be afraid to wear color. So I thought I would speed up the process. I was going to do this in several segments, but I'm just going to buzz right through the wall right now and we'll go back and do any that you want to see again um that way, you'll get an idea of how color is going to be wonderful. For you to add to your wig collection, all right, so I'm going to take the white one off. I hope this was enough of a view for my viewer. Okay and we're gon na get started so one of my friends, Amy and Jasmine. I have purple wigs and and we'll show you so this one is um kind of a nice Bob with a side part. This is a modem mode, Modell model Modell wig and you can see it looks different on me than it did on her foreign darker purple to very pale on the bottom. I know you can see the back or not all right now, we'll do I'm just gon na move this one over here for a minute. So I can put this on Amy and I'm not going to do the wall on all on both of the models but um just to give you an idea, onions, okay. So when Amy you can see this it's much longer than it was on me all right. She just - and it looks a lot Fuller, too. Okay, all right now, I'll put this other one on like what you do is undone, I'm not buzzing too fast. Am I the hook. You do is undone there we go, and this is like a forever. This purple has more red in it than the last one did. I think the last one had one blue, so you get an idea and I'm not gon na style them either. Okay, because we have too many to look at okay - and you can see, purple is a great color. Really. Okay, I've got some blue ones. Let me just get some onions, ladies foreign. This is called midnight blue. It almost like screaming my camera, but it's a real nice blue and it's very long, there's some character. So what this looks like on Amy now, you'll see it on me. This is a BC wig that last one was um, Janet Collection, foreign and you can adjust it um. Some people like it asymmetrical and some people like it. Even so, you can pretty much pull this so that it gets to be the way you want it to be, and you saw it looked much longer on Amy than it does on me. This is coming across a lot. A much different bullet really is it's got. It'S more of a get it to so you can see the color that's kind of more like it. Rather than that. This came from Amazon, one of my goodbyes. Now this one I had ordered from Amazon. It was supposed to be um like an ocean blue. That'S, I think, that's what they called it: a deep sea blue or something like that to me it's more of a slate gray, color, it's um! I I would think. Maybe if you looked at the ocean on a on a rainy day, you know, then that would be the kind of color it would be. But it's not to me: it's not really blue blue see it does have some blue in it, but it's I'll put it on one thing about synthetic fibers when it gets in your eyes, boy that is uncomfortable. Okay, that's that kind of a blue. I mean we kept does not want to cooperate. Tonight keeps trying to come off. Okay, this next one I purchased from cysterwigs it's supposed to be denim blue and it has a doc root, and then it goes down to these late, denim colored tips. Sister, wigs recently changed their name to hair kitty kitty, so h-a-i-r kitty kitty, so you can look them up either way. If it's something that interests you and again, banks are trimmable. You can do anything. You want with them foreign idea of a color that feeds from you know, goes from a darker color to a lighter color, and I have green for St Patrick's Day, of course, coming up soon. I also wear this at Christmas time. Laughs, it's a lot of fun! Oh well, you get the idea. I don't want to spend too much time on one and in one of my previous videos I showed you a different green with a a headband that green is really nice too. That was called grass green that one I got from Amazon and this one I got from Amazon. They have some really good stuff. A lot of fun I'll show you this one on Amy, so you'll get an idea how long it would be on her. Okay, that's why it hurts. I mean, based on this particular model, it's down to her shoulders. Okay, all right now, I'm gon na do kind of like orangey colors. This is another Modell Modell wig. I believe this color is actually golden Orange. I love this one. It'S really cute probably needs to be calmed out again, but the color is really great and again I'll put it on Amy, because she's the most different from me, okay, foreign - and I think I showed this one in one of my other videos, but it's my newest Orange one I got this one from Amazon. Also, this one was my one of my very inexpensive wigs. I wore this to breakfast with a bunch of the church, ladies on Tuesday, and they loved it so foreign, but I'll give you an idea of color. Okay, it's a lot of fun, this one's fun and this one is more of a um. Oh, let me do this one. First, this one's still in the averaging family, this one I actually bought from Tia Maria, which is the place I'm telling you is having a big sale on Saturday, it's at 11 30 in the morning um. I will put a link down below so that you can go there and um. She usually has Just One of a Kind. So if it's something you want, you have to claim it. You know, and then you pay through um, venmo or PayPal or one of those things anyway. She sends you an invoice, and you just you know, put your credit card in or whatever to pay it um, but she's got a great site so hold on we'll see what this is. This is doll baby Dayton and she sends cards like this. The focus there we go kind of all right. It tells you how to care well, whether it's heat safe and all that information. How big the lace front is whether she customized it what color it is that kind of thing this one had a lace front. I don't know if you can see that, so she had cut yeah, so she had cut the lace before before I got it. So it's just, you know, flap and go once you get it um and of course, I'm gon na do a video and show you how to do this, but um you can change the color of your eyebrows so that it will always go with whatever wigs you're Wearing um, that's one of my hints as to how to make a wig look much more natural on you anyway. So this is that one all right - and now I have the most shocking one of these colors here coming up. It keeps getting caught and the combs in these wigs that's why it keeps coming off all right now. This one is Motown tress, okay, I occasionally sit as a portrait model at my local art center, and I wore this for that. One time and one of the ladies, that was there painting that day entered her a picture with all these colors, because I had really colorful shirt and everything on just to make it really fun for them um. She entered it into a contest and it actually won a prize. So I guess everyone liked the color of the wig, so just letting you know it was fun. Color and I'll put it on Amy again, because this one again is going to look a lot longer on her and me it was just barely below my chin. Okay, all right now, I have one that's a lot of fun. This one is another hair kitty kitty. Our sister Wings wig, this is a were they like a golden honey, blonde color as the root, but then it goes down to like very pale blonde tips. However, it also has all these really interesting colors all through it. I'Ll show you. Let me I hope it's coming across, so you can see okay, so it's really interesting. First time I wore this, I wore it out to a dance party at the Clinton, the Little Country Club and one of the ladies. There came up to me, and she said, ah, who does your hair? I want to go get that on my head too, I was like you could have it, but you're not gon na get it at a hand, dress so anyway. That'S that one. I think this is called um. No, it's not one. I don't remember what the the style was, but it's um definitely hey kitty kitty. All right now I have a bunch of pink ones and it's all different shades of pink all right. So I'm gon na try to go through them as quick as I can, I'm going to start with one from hey Kitty Kitty again, this one is um has a darker root which, as soon as I get that thing off I'll show you okay. I think this is called strawberry, strawberry, shake or something like that. It starts with this golden dot. You know this. Almost a almost an orbony yeah, almost a almost an oh I've, been a very like auburn brown and then it goes into this pink and it comes down to like almost white tips, very pale, pink tips. I guess I should say they're not really white and it's a good length. I feel like the lighter weight gets long. I mean it's a way to have pink without being pink at the base. You know, if that bothers you, then we can have um this fading color this next one I got from Tia Maria, so this is gives you another idea of the kinds of things she has. This one also has a Dark Root, but it's darker than the one. I just showed you body of this is lighter and it actually has okay, it's got a lot of different colors in it, but it's like pink and um, some almost like little shades of almost black. Like a blunt, I don't know if I can get this enough in Focus or not. No, it's yeah! That'S better back! Here you get more of a true color back here and I hope you do this again. I don't really comment done so easily when they're not on your head. I don't have a problem when it's on my head, it's only when it's off being stored that they tend to come undone foreign of it anyway, and it's I really want to foreign. That'S what that looks like okay now, this one is an Amazon link and it's a totally different pink than the one. I just showed you. This has more of them. Yeah see it's a dark, it's like darker pink than that last one, because this is really cute too. Okay and again I'll put it on Amy. So you can see if you see how much longer it is on her because on me it was like right here. Okay and next nothing, this one came from my brick and mortar wig store again all right again. It was on the clearance. So I love the clearance rack. This is a bushy wig. This is a very pale pink and it's long. It'S really cute, though okay - and this is another beefy wig - that I also got there um at a different time, but these you know I've collected these wigs for several years now, I started wearing wigs in 2018 um, which is when I had um after I had The chemo and I lost all my hair, so, as you can see, it's come back, but it's so thin. On top. I just continue to wear my wigs. I really enjoy them, so this is um more of a curly one. I think this is you see in the back okay, so that's pretty long too put it on my friend over here Jasmine's saying I want a pink one and I want a pink one: okay, okay - and this is another Amazon one. This one is like has what I would consider almost a bit of a violet in it, but it's it's definitely pink it just Wings more. So I guess that would be more of a blue base. Maybe - and you can see the difference in the colors here - you can see how different the pinks are nice and just two more and we're done nope three I picked one up and there was one hiding underneath three, this one, this pink one foreign, also Amazon, wig. This one um is shorter and it has more of a almost leans toward the yellowy orange side, but it's definitely pink foreign okay, we'll swap it on her besides comb. So now, I'm quite I'm caught on the comb all right, so here we go. Combs are great, especially if you're putting it into your regular hair because, of course, they're going to grab and hold on um. I especially like I'm in the back, because I have basically no occipital bone. So wait. Wait, grips, don't work on me. They just slide right off my head and the Caps tend to are a little better, but sometimes they'll ride up. But if I have one with a comb at the base, then it latches onto - and it holds it on better for me, but this is um what it looks like on Amy and you can see it's a lot lying around her than it was on me all Right: okay, let's see oh actually, this one I had showed in a previous video um. This is the really long pink one that I just got from Amazon. So if you go back on my Amazon rather than because we're running out of time, if you go back on the Amazon, wig review um the first one - I did yes, the first one. I did it's in there - it's. It was six dollars and ninety cents, but it's it was a clearance, so there aren't anymore, but I can show it again if you want to see it again, but it's in that video and then this one which one this one is. I can give it a little something: that's a little doohickey here there we go all right. This is a different Amazon one, this one's longer until I had a pink phase when I was going when I was going through this whole thing, but pink is a great color, because in fact there are so many shades. I mean it's very flattering to most skin tones, so you just have to pick the right shade for you, but this gives you an idea of some of the different shades available and the last one I'm going to show. You came from my wig store in Ocala and this is starts out with a Dark Root. It has all this beautiful rose, colors and it has this darker Rose underneath in the back all right. So I'm going to put that on for you. So it's a little curls look at that. This is a modu m-o-d-u and I got it several years ago. So I do not know if it's still around the color code is tt4 are rose, gold tt4 rose gold. So I imagine the four is the root and then number four I'm trying to get that hook. You do a strap hooked, but it doesn't want to hook hold on there. We go that's one side. There we go okay and I prefer I don't like Center pots. Just don't do many favors, so I always slide it a little bit one way or the other. So I tend to like my part on this side, so I'm gon na try to slip it a little bit to show you that this was a lace, front wig, and so I cut the lace on it and that's what that looks like the with the darker Root in the darker on the side, can you see it in the picture?
