Wow it feels like I have traveled back five years, did a blow out on my hair and did a twist out you guys. This is insane. Oh, my god, I miss my hair and, being this link, hey trav ease. Welcome back to the tribe. Thank you for tuning into another video. This one is a little bit different than I normally do, but this is a part of my protective hair series that all of you want to see. So I first let me start off by saying that this video is not sponsored. I did I personally reached out to her get hair and wanted to kind of see if they wanted to send me a custom part. You a custom. Maybe, u part wig, sorry a custom, maybe u part wig in exchange for review, and that is what they did and I am so thankful. Thank you guys so much so this is a! U part wig, meaning that you leave a portion of your hair out to blend more seamlessly to make it look a little bit more realistic. The inches is 18 and it is kinky. Now the kinky texture on its own was very, very, very, very tight. I wasn't down to let my hair shrink up and compact, like that, so what I did was, I just blew it out and I did a twist out on it and I just let my twist out - and this is the result I mean this hair - is absolutely Beautiful the only thing that I would say about the kinky texture is if you're not gon na, wear it in its natural natural kinky kinky state, which I'll show you guys later on in the video. I would probably you know just prefer to get the kinky blowout. You part way, because you can do a lot more style with it. It'S certainly a really really long time to do the only thing, as well as like the ends of the kinky hair, no matter what you do, no matter how much product you put it it. It'S still a little frizzy at the ends, I'm pretty sure you could probably manipulate that to make look a little bit better, but I was running out of options. This hair is beautiful. It'S really soft. I really wasn't expected to hold this twist out like it did, but, like I said, I did blow dry it before I put twist in there. You can also do a twist out on they are being wet, but I just thought that this kind of matched my texture a little bit more, so let me just get into the specs of it, so it came in two. It came in at this box right here and it was packaged really nice. It came with some extra clips and elastic band. I please took the clips out of mind because it just pulled on my hair, and I don't like that and also comes with a little manual of you know how to wash it all that good stuff, how to style it, how to store it. Just so. Basically, what I just did was co, wash it let it dry blow-dried it twist it up put it on, so I'm gon na be showing you guys. All of that in this video, like I said this is a custom cap, because I find that no wig that I've ever tried to buy fits all of my hair under here. So, basically, if you just go on their website, they'll show you a guy of how to measure your hair, basically from head from ear to ear from you know, Temple to Temple from you know, ear to ear from the back. Do your circumference! All of that, so they custom made me this, which is so excited, because this is the first week that I'm actually able to put on my head it's my first week ever and I'm just so excited it's so beautiful the days I just want to change it Up - and I don't want to wear all of my hair on the twist out - this is so perfect. So if you guys want to see how I got this hairstyle just keep on watching all right left, so we're gon na start by washing this unit. I was starting to wash it and I was like wait: nothing recording um, so I stole my husband's Tresemme conditioner. He was like. I don't have any conditioner. I really wonder why alright, so I'm gon na start off by washing this unit. What'S up of the conditioner in it, it detangled very well, they advise you to use a tangle teezer, but since I don't have one, I just did it with my fingers. Just ignore that string hanging from the road and it worked just fine. It has really really soft the texture really mimics, 4c hair. It really does if the curl pattern would have stayed the way it was wet dry. Then I could have easily blended my hair, but unfortunately, when it dries, it dries very shrunken and I just wasn't willing to let my hair shrink up like that and that's when tingles happen, I'll post a picture right now of my hair versus this hair, and it's Pretty much a close match, if not a perfect match. I just wasn't willing to let my hair shrink up in this manner, so I'm showing you what it looks like it's a really soft. The ends, in my opinion are very, very hard to work with. If you want to wear it in any other style other than in its natural state, I think I mentioned that in the beginning, because I did a blowout on this and the ends just when it's a you know, shrink up and frizz up and that wasn't the Look that I wanted to go for if they would have made the ends of it a little bit looser. I think it really really would have mimicked 4c hair a little better because at least with 4c hair, if you put some product at the end, you can get a little bit more curl definition on this unit. You don't get too much crowed definition, even if you do put a product in there there is curl definition, but you have to really put a lot. So it's not very much shedding or tangling in this unit, which was great. That'S how much I've got so far and I'm pretty much done. It really really looks and feels like I just washed my hair, you guys guys can see the ends of them. I want to show you guys I've better close up of it once it dries a little bit. You see that how the ends just want to kind of knot on each other, so they really really tried their best to make sure that this hair really resembled horse. Here all right - and this is what it looks like once - it's dried and I'm going to go ahead and want to start blow drying this when I comb it out. First, you see how the comb just glides right through it and I'm going to start there. Dis regret that mason jar handed back my daughter caught a Playboy. I didn't catch bloody, but the ladybug was just chillin and ladybug wing was broken, so she decided C wants to put it in a jar and keep her. And then we let her go in the plant, so she lives in the house. Now sorry, that's my husband, bum Barney. Why video and I want to show you his hair. Do you see all this tangled mess? That'S his hair? Okay! So now after I blow dried it, I'm gon na go ahead and braid it. He doesn't gon na end up doing a braid out on this hair. It blow-dried really really easy, but it did take me a really long time to blow-dry all of this. So getting this hair in no way is like an easy way out, because you really do have to treat this hair as if it is your own natural hair, and it really really looks and feels like natural hair. I'M gon na grab another section and I'm going to go ahead and comb it out. First, like I said it comes, how really easy this hair is. I really want to try the coyly texture and that, as a texture, I initially wanted to insisted me, but they accidentally sent me the kinky, and I said: okay we'll have to work with it and it is beautiful. Okay, it's a very pretty texture. If I wanted to leave my hair in a front mistake, the coyly looks like my hair. Let'S say if I was to put some flexi gel in it and do the washing go to have situation, and this hair looks like my hair when it's going now. So, honestly, if you are a poor type of girl, you could do coyly or you can do kinky either either one will match your hair depending on what spider on it Larry. I really wants makers out blowdry this escalators. I could become like our hair as soon as moisture or anything hit this hair. It starts to alert and back so I really have to make sure that this hair was asked for it and I can hit it to be hearing about a mama husband analyzer. Do you see it? It takes a while to really locals go straight. The kinky blowout gon na skip this whole. You know blow-drying, alright, so here is how it looks after I blow dried it and I've twisted up, and I put a perm rod at the end. Like I said because of the ends coil up on each other so much it hurts so much to where it just didn't. Look realistic for me! Alright, now we're getting into the nitty-gritty alright, so you can see that my hair is in twist, and this is what is going to make it a great protective style, because if you put your hair in twists, then you can always take off your wig moisturize. Your hair, your hair, is in good condition. You can do it with cornrows as well. I just prefer my hair to be twisted, because it's the only way that I actually wear my hair and doing car rolls and my hair would be a lot of hassle, and this way I can retwist my hair. If I need to, I couldn't wash her as my twist is easier and I don't have a stocking cap because I forgot one alright, so this is the wig and the good thing about it is. It is custom made to fit in my head. So I took the measurements of my head and they made it for me and it fits it would have fit a little bit better if I were to put a stocking cap over my head, because that's how I measured my hair, but this works. So I took the combs out because I'm not down for that and then I'm just gon na go ahead and use bobby pins to kind of secure it, and I'm gon na take my long bobby pins. I'M gon na push it in there and then push it in push it in and push it in so put it in the end of the wig and then push it in my hair down it in and I'm gon na go ahead and pull the back down And everything fits perfect. That is the good thing. I would advise you guys if you really want a good protective hairstyle to get a u-part, wig or even a lace front and get it custom-made that way your hair underneath can be in twist. They can be in braids and it's a lot easier to take your hair, Oh moisturize it and take care for it take care of it under the wig. Alright. So I'm going to go ahead and take these down and I'll be right back whoa. It'S pretty! It looks like I did a blowout and it twists up on my hair, now grant it. I have a lot more hair than this and I kind of thinned this out a little bit because I didn't want it to look Wiggy and I'm not really used to any other hair in my hair other than mine. So it was kind of weird for me at first. I know my hair is a lot better, but on those days you just want to slap something on and you don't feel like doing all the extra work. Then this is perfect, so I'm gon na go ahead and take down my twist, I'm not gon na separate them, because they're aphids, a video I twisted it back and it matches pretty well and I didn't have to do a blowout on my actual hair, because my Hair is longer than this wig. This is 18 inches and I I was trying to kind of keep it kind of shorter and I got 18 inches because sometimes you just want shorter hair. Sometimes you want a longer hair, but I've been kind of craving shorter hair. Lately and no I'm not gon na cut my hair and I'm gon na get comments. Well, why are you here in a wig? Well, first, it's for the greater good of my channel. You guys wanted a protective hairstyle series, and this is a part of it, but instead of me trying to find a way that fit. That is why I reached out to her giving hair if they wanted to make me a u-part wig and it worked out. So will I wear this wig out hmmm? Maybe I don't know, is this really something I have to get used to, like? I said I'm not used to wearing hair in my head, isn't mine, so it's it looks a little strange to me, but it is beautiful. Beautiful hair and if I have more time to kind of manipulate it more, I probably will wear out maybe I'll wear for like New Year's or something on my birthday. I don't know so, I'm just taking it out that little piece like up at the top. It'S a shorter and it kind of bugs me. I wish it was just a little longer so taking it out. This hair looks so realistic. You guys this is how my hair used to look about five years ago. When I would do twist outs. I am really filling it you guys. It'S really pretty. It looks a really natural looks like my hair. I'M not used to seeing me like this, so it's gon na take a little bit of getting used to, but if you guys want to try a really good natural hair wig, I would suggest her giving air they're having a Black Friday sale. Now it ends on the 30th, so it's a money off save some queens, but yeah you guys this is it's really pretty alright? Now, let's get back to my video, don't forget to Like comment and subscribe to this tribe if you're already not joined into the tribe, I will leave the direct links down to this exact wig that I have on my head. This exactly u-part wig. You can get a right in the left part just just go click the link, everything it's self-explanatory, there's different textures as well; there's kinky, there's coyly and there's curly like I said this is the kinky one. I think the curl the coyly would have matched my hair texture a little bit more, but this is the one that they sent me. So this is the one that I worked with and it's absolutely beautiful. This is what my hair looks like when it's blown out, so I have no complaints there. Alright, you guys so love you guys I'll see you in my next video stay tuned for part, two of my protective hairstyle series that video would be on headrests, alright, love by

KD: You should've gotten a kinky straight hair. It would look like your hair stretched, so you wouldn't have to do all that work. All you'll need is to plop it on your head and twist/braid it like you would do with your own hair. Less work, same results.

MiaNaomi Post: Could you add a little more light to your videos? Thanks!

Tribe Jamette: As a youtube viewer, i know you are a novice with wigs. I have seen so many videos on wigs as a protective style that i think I am a pro on how it should be treated to look natural. But good job for your first time.

LuLa L: Not able to click on website, the free giveaway spin keep blocking me from seeing other wigs

Cordelia M: Gurl I thought that was your hair.

J Girl Chill: Okay but be careful because wigs wreak havoc on your edges and it doesn't allow your hair to breathe... this channel is not worth the health of your hair....☺ but I I'm so glad you're doing more videos just be careful with the wig

Smile: Please try to make better quality videos eg. Lighting. Now that you're a youtuber for real
