Now, before we get into the thick of it, i'm using this felicia leatherwood detangling brush, which is perfect for your textured wigs and even your natural hair. I want a very sleek half up half down look, and this is the way to do it, but trust me. We are going to get that texture right back to where you love it, give you that volume and just that overall gorgeous look full disclosure, i'm not plucking any hair lines in 2022. This hairline is on point, so there's no manipulation necessary. So i'm just going to begin by creating two slits into the lace so that we break the lace portion down into three separate parts. And next i'm going to use double prong clips. To make sure that i pull the lace sections back away from the hairline. For the 30-70 installation technique, i'm going to be using the kiss almighty bond lace, front, wig adhesive, i'm going to be focusing more on using the silicon tip, it's wider. It covers more surface area and it's overall easier and a lot neater when applying the adhesive. When applying the adhesive, you want to also ensure that you are applying a sufficient amount of pressure. This helps to sheer or thin down the adhesive, so you are not applying it in chunks, as you guys can see. When you are applying the layers it begins to dry. This is something that i did not do when i first started experimenting with this product, but it makes all the difference after the first layer has completely dried and it will be clear so you know you can proceed to the next step. I'M applying the second layer be sure to remove any excess so that you have a very clean application surface and i'm toggling between the hot and cool setting with the blow dryer. Now i'm going in the third and final time to apply the last layer of adhesive. Now, with the section of the lace specifically at the middle, i am going to begin to gently pull this forward and secure the lace and position it exactly where i want it to be and making sure that it has full contact with the adhesive. And i'm telling you the lace literally melts. This is the 30 70 rule, so i'm only going to be using glue for about 30 of this process. Everything else i'm going back to the basics. Yes, it's glueless, so i'm going to be applying the invincible, styling gel with my makeup spatula and then following up with the high insta hold spray and, as you can see that lace it melts into the skin. That'S what i'm looking for i'm going to do. The exact same on the opposite side believe it or not. The bald cap method, in conjunction with the glueless insulation, is perfect for these stubborn ear tabs it lays flat it adheres and it stays that's what i'm looking for. I don't like to use glue across the entire hairline. I actually don't like to use it on the sides, because my hairline protrudes and it's a little bit lower, so i'm not making any contact with my natural hair with the glue when i use the 30 70 insulation rule with my hot comb. I'M going to slick the hair closest to the lace down. This is important because you don't want a bulky uneven. The more that i do it, because sometimes i'm doing more steps, because i'm in the learning process and that's okay, now i'm taking a small section at the back. You want it like a medium section. You fill me as medium and you have to detangle it first and then you want to go in with your hot comb, and this is to ensure you have a very sleek section of hair to wrap around the base of your ponytail. We need to disguise the scrunchies, so this medium piece is going to work and i'm using a bit of the high install hold on this section. It'S dense crazy volume, insane definition and the curls are reverting just beautifully even with water and then to further define and accentuate those curls. I like to use two products: the aussie curl cream and the mark anthony curl envy cream, but we always have to go in and apply water and lightly finger detangle, and these two products will create the juiciest most luscious curls and it lends to a natural luster And if you find that the section of hair is not as defined as you would like, focus, adding water towards the end of the section and then begin detangling starting from the ends working your way up and you will notice a huge difference. Water is your friend. I'M telling you you see how a little spritz of water towards the end can just make these curls pop even more.
