Oh, hey: everybody welcome to another episode of Wiggin out with Bobby Z, hosted by me Bobby Z. As you can see, it's a Wiggy we V weekend this week. Sorry I was really busy this past week and I didn't have time to upload a video for a Wiggy we V Wednesday. So here we are at the Wiggy we view weekend. Today'S tutorial is a little quick tip and it's going to show you how to properly stretch out a wig if you have a really big head and it doesn't fit or anything like that, so stay tuned and I'm also sporting some new summer hair. I added some little highlights to the front, not so sure if I like it yet, but you know once it's still a little damp, I just got done doing it so once it's fully dry I'll, be able to tell if I really like it or if I Have to diet again, what you're going to need is the wig D we like to stretch and alcohol, preferably the higher the percentage, the better. This is 91 % in a spray bottle now the reason why I always use a higher percentage of alcohols because it dries faster, the lesser the percentage, the less actual alcohol there is in it. So what you're going to do is you're going to take your wig. This is the holiday by sepia, and this is a color t-33 / 130, which means it's a 33 at the root and it fades to a 130 on the end. So it's really just a nice little blend, ombre kind of look and it is a lace front, and since this is mine, I did cut the lace back to the hairline, but I'm actually going to be putting a whole new lace front on this completely and hand Tying the whole thing myself so that it'll have light lace and it will match my skin and I'm definitely going to upload a video about how I did that once I get around actually doing it. So you're just going to take your wig, and this will work on any wig. That is a wefted back like this, and what you're going to want to do is you're, going to take your wig and turn it inside out, on your hand, like this you're, going to take your rubbing, alcohol and you're going to start in the back, which that's Just where I start - and I am dousing this girl with rubbing alcohol, the wetter you get the better. The more saturated is the better because it will stretch better. So I'm just spraying the ribbon spraying, the lefting spraying, the lace. Now I do have to warn you. The lace isn't really going to stretch that much because it's plastic. If you're doing this on a hand-tied, wig or a wig that has real lace versus this commercial lace, then it will stretch the least so you kinda have to be careful and then your hand will get tired and cramp like right. Now. I actually just started back at dry bar two, and this is my rolling my brush hand, so this hands a little tired anyway, so once you get that alcohol spray it overall, okay, so it's pretty damp um. I might want to add a little more up here in the top just to make sure okay and then what you want to do. You want to turn the leg upside down and you want to just stretch the sides a little bit in your hands like this. You don't want to grab it by the lace. You want to grab it by the ear tab right there, I'm going to grab there and you want to grab at the bottom tab, and you want to stretch a little bit same thing on the other side. Sometimes you'll hear threads pop and that's fine. It just means it stretch it. If they do come loose, you can just sew them back on. It happens with a wig. You know the the wedding will come loose after a while. You can just sew it back in place now. I'M doing is, I'm putting my hand inside the cap of the wig up in the top and I'm pulling against it like that to stretch it out, then what you're going to want to do is you're going to put it on your head and flip the hair Back, of course, make sure it's Center and make sure it's on straight, just like that, you want to pull the hair forward. I just want to because it's so pretty so after you put it back on, it should feel good. It should feel a lot bigger and roomier, then, when you first put it on, if it still feels a little snug spray, it and repeat it again. Also, if you have a really big head, you'll notice, parts of the wig will possibly feel tighter than other parts. If you have a really high crown, the wig might feel tight back here, but it could feel loose here. If you have a big occipital bone, the wig might feel tight back here, but loose up here, so figure out where you need to stretch it and concentrate your stretching and your alcohol in those places and you'll be good to go. Thank you for watching. I really hope you enjoyed the tutorial today. Sorry, it was late and sorry it was so quick and last-minute and all of that, but I figured that it was a good tip that a lot of people have been asking me if you enjoyed the video. Please be sure to comment in the boxes below be sure to send me emails subscribe. Follow me all of that fun stuff, be sure to write in what you guys want to see. In future videos. I'Ve been asked how to stretch out a wave, properly tons and tons of times, so I figured I'd. Do a video on it, so keep writing in your questions and I'll make videos about them in the future. Stay tuned thanks again. Bye!

thelaurar0se: OMG Bobby this was amazing!!  My head is huge and have had so many problems getting a wig to fit my head properly.  I did this to everyone of my wigs and they all fit amazingly now.  Thank you times a million!!!!

Pam Clare: This also works on shoes! I put them on while they are damp and move my foot around concentrating on the part that's tight. Bingo! They fit. Learned this from an old cobbler.

xaidezignz: I know this video is old as balls but THANK YOU. I did a smash n' grab buying of a wig off ebay for a Wonder Woman cosplay and the head is TIGHT and lifts. This saved me from buying a replacement! Rocking the soaked wig now and its so much better than what is was.

Cassie Russek: so good! This is exactly how I do it too, I like to stretch on a 24 inch block over night, or a hat stretcher!!! The hat stretcher looks archaic but totally works. <3

Bonnie Pariseau: Thank you!! Wow You made it sound so easy. I’m going to give this a try.

Kat Liddell: MY MAN, YOU SAVED MY LIFE. I was so upset because my newest wig was too small, and I didn't know what to do. Thank you!!!

witchywoman4u12: Wow, thank you! I know this was like almost 8 yrs ago but I am going to try this on my Wellie Wisher Wig to see if it will work. Side note.... The highlights in the front of your own hair look lovely.

Sapharah: Tried this and it worked!! Thank you so much. Other Youtubers suggested cutting the elastic straps and sewing on more elastic, or using glue on your head to hold the small wig in place, this by far was the best and easiest way to make a smaller wig fit, and nobody suggested this but you. You're THEE best :) Thanks!

Brooke London: I thank you from the bottom of my heart! Wigs never fit me. They need at least an inch more in circumference. Another influencer mentioned to you. I just stretched my first wig and I have three to go. I'm surprised that no manufacturer has picked up on this. Perhaps you could have your own line of larger wigs. Have a wonderful day and thanks for all you do!

Deborah Tolbert: Your amazing! I am new at wigs so I depend a lot on videos. Even I could do this and it worked!!! I'm a fan and will subscribe. I can't wait to see your videos

Maureen Howard: Zoh thank you so much for this helpful video! I feel my wig feels sooo uncomfortable after a while that I think this might be the solution! Just came across your site have subscribed.

Justa Fan: I'm so glad I had 91% in the house. I sprayed the wig wefting parts, partic over the ears but didn't go "crazy" with the spraying. Wanted to take it step by step and not saturate it entirely - for fear I'd make it too big. I can already feel the difference in this cool new wig I bought. I love it. Thank you - you are immensely adorable and very cool!!

Carlene Thomas: Great tutorial! Before I try this, my concern is rubbing alcohol damaging your hair or penetrating through the wig cap.

Dealan-dhe: It only took a single quick spray down to stretch my Belle Madame, focusing on the elastics on the sides, just a bit on the wefts, and mostly avoided the lace. Genius! Thanks

watercolornyc: Wig noob here...thank you so much, I had no idea how to stretch my new half-wig!

Zin Momo: Thank you so much for this advice! Im gonna try it tonight!

C F: OMG! This is amazing , works like a charm . My wig did not cover my bio hair completely at the temples and I didn't know how to fix that . Now after spraying with 99% alcohol it covers perfectly . THANK YOU SOOO MUCH ! I have only one question, whenever I wash my wig do I have to stretch it again with alcohol?

Magic Lamp Entertainment: I’m going to try this! THANK YOU! I’m still really confused as to what the alcohol does but I’m here for the info

effy e: thank you so much for tutorial my wig came yesterday and it was too small for my head i will try this method

inthakitchen: THANK YOU. You just stopped me from getting rid of some of my wigs. I was unable to cover the side of my head. {{{hugs}}}

miss tokyo ホ: I can’t believe this.. it actually WORKED. My human hair wig would not fit at the temples causing tension and uncomfortable ear tabs , so I stretched it vertically. I cant thank you enough, you’re saving lives out here ❤️

ToBeThwarted: Thank you for the tutorial! :D

Elime J: Thanks so much for the tip. Thought I'd have to buy a whole new wig!

Peter Lauenstein: Thank you! I just am buying wigs for the first time, and my big head is very grateful!! All the wigs I like are average cap sizes. You are great!

Passionate Brazilian Girl.: You have the best hair cut for a man I have seeing so far in a youtuber: It looks professional well groomed and trendy.

Ilovelosangeles: Bobbie, love you and your channel! You are my favorite wig channel on Youtube.

BetteBoots: Wow! Problem solved! Great info- thanks!

Camembert: Shared with my cosplay friends! I have such a big head, and I will try this out~ Do you wash the wig afterwards? Or do you keep the alcohol in? :/

Passionate Brazilian Girl.: "It is a wiguy weave weekend this week" Hahahahahahahahaha you are so funny n good with language. I love your new highlights. Thank you for your wig genius knowledge!

Irvin Galvan: love your hair!!!! <3 thanks for the tip ;-)

God Healed Me: Thank you so much I will try this, I have a full lace human hair wig and its too small!!!

RealCatwomanForever: You are just so adorable. I love your videos, please keep 'em coming!!

asoapboxopera: You are so nice. Thank you for this!!!! And that wig really is super cute! I just wonder why there's no part on top?

Deb kratzer: Hey that worked really well. I was going to throw the wig out. It is a Raquel Welch wig. You saved me from throwing it away. Thank you

Cee Cee Heartless: Omg!! I seriously freakin love you. You're a god send that saved my head from being squished to death. Thank you!

K. Popper: I have s questions; does the alcohol damage the synthetic hair fibers? Once you get it to stretch a bit do you wait for it to completely dry and then wash and/or deep condition the wig? Thanks! BTW...I love your tutorials!

Marsha Neal: Thank you -- your video was perfect -- and I also love your sense of humor -- one love

Korede Oladapo: Hi Bobby, do you have a link for how to put your own lace front on top of the lace front wig to match your skin. Also to give more room when you put the wig on. My wig typically hurts the side of my edges and front middle part of my hair. I end up pulling the hair back, cause it feels uncomfortable. Happy Holidays!!!

jrose onyx: You are so gorgeous! You saved me some money! Thanks for sharing!

Marie DeVita: Thanks so much for the info!

talktalk2: Thanks for the tip. I REALLY need it. I just saw a YouTube vid where the lady advises using water and allowing the wig to dry on a wig head. I have a wig head that I adjusted to my head size, thanks to another YouTube vid. Questions: 1. Does it matter if the hair is human or synthetic? 2. Does the style of hair (straight, wavy, curly, afro-curly) matter? Thanks again!

anneshirley duncan: Thank you so much for making this video. 99% of the wigs I like, are size average. Plz make more.

jerickzane: I did this on a regular basic cap wig with wefting and let it dry on a foam head and seems to have shrunk back down a bit.  Should I wear this thing till it dries?  Just a curious question.  Love your videos.  J~

Samantha Dwyer: Hi! Does this work for human hair wigs as well or only synthetic?

talktalk2: This wig was tagged "discontinued" on the website where I ordered it. I sure it's a little old. The front root hair looks dull; the rest is fine. Thanks again!

Carla San Giacomo: thanks for great advice. Your expertise is appreciated!

can am: Thank you for this video...I'm just wondering does the cap shrink again after being washed? (I'm hoping to wash it after doing that so it doesn't smell.) Thank yoi

Vicki Maheu: Does the alcohol damage synthetic hair fibers? I ask because I was told to avoid any product that contains alcohol, which is why wig hairspray is alcohol free.

jerickzane: Ok it's better now, it's still snug but everything is covered, I can use them now.  Thank you BobbyZ.  J~

Lolita bolita: thanks a lot very helpful

S T: Thanks Bobby-good tip:)

HK Hunter: Do you have advice on stretching out dome cap wigs?

Sh1: Hi. Thanks for the video. Is it ok to spray the rubbing alcohol on a human hair wig?

Peter Ortega: You know you're my hero for this tutorial. Seriously

erin oneill: I have long hair AND a big head. should I put my hair up or leave it down? should I cover my hair in plastic wrap to protect my color? Most wigs are too small for my 21.5 inch head (not including a braid!). I love your videos!!!

Denise Layne: Does the stretching stay in place after the process, or do we need to re-stretch the wig after every wear or every wash?? I have a high crown I guess, my wigs fall shortest above my ears. Any suggestions?

Sandy Beach BumTM: OMG!!! You are a GENIUS!!!! WHY does no one else have this tip???? It worked AMAZING on my Raquel Welch. Now to do it to my three other wigs! THANK YOU!!!

talktalk2: Hello, BZ. I bought a "test" wig to try your stretching method. For the most part, it worked. It doesn't feel tight at all. There is good stretch from front to back. I hate that it can't stretch from side to side. I may buy some combs to sew into the wig. The front hair (synthetic) look a little dull from the alcohol. Thanks a lot!

Genesis Paternina: Does this work on human hair wigs too? Or just synthetics?

Queen Mookie: I have such a fat head, on my shoulders. Thanks for the tip. Ima check out your other vids. xo

God Healed Me: it did work. i made a video and shouted you out. i did rip it in small rips but used the lace i cut out to repair the small rips.

Christian White: Omg thank you!

VICTORIA Benton: Awesome thanks I,ll try it yowza!

Mary Armstrong: Thanks I’m about to try this.

Alex: OMG thank you!!!

jcjana54: Thanks very much!

A W: Love your hair color!

ladydro415: can i do this on a wig i made using a dome cap???

hyacinthdibley2: I love his widow's peak. Great tutorial. :-)

Lashonda Johnson: I know this is late but would this stretch a u part wig?

Natty De Dancer: Can I use Alcohol on my mesh cap I want to make the cap bigger

TheDiamondLife90: Luv all your vids! I have a brand new remy human wig that is too small. Will this work for me?

Leslie Forzzani: Hello! Can I try to stretch a cap that has synthetic hair?

Oregon Deb: This video was a while ago but hopefully you or one of the others can answer - do you have to re-do the stretch after you wash the wig?

Isadel Miller: If I wash my wig after I stretch my wig will it shrink back?

Namakau Ililonga: Thank you

Donna Molino: I need to try this I bot a wig and it doesn’t fit me I can’t wait to try it

Julie Mann: Hi--is it ok to leave the wig on the canvas head overnight to stretch it? Its a petite/average and I need average/large. Do you think its possible to stretch it that much? Thank you so much for your help.

Jane Wood Branam: Love your new bio look

Rob Whit: Your highlights are beautiful

Adelessence: Would this work with a dome cap wig?

Yamata Carter: will the alcohol stretching technique work for wigs made on wig caps bought at a beauty supply?

Nobody’s business 1: and also I don't have any hair for the combs what do I do

Teresa V: I have recently heard of people getting a foam head that's exactly the same size as their actual head. How does one aquire these? Are they diy?

Nadia Layla: How can you stretch a full lace wig?

#Teamjuly: would it work for a mesh dome cap

Lauren Gallery: HOLY MOLY THIS ACTUALLY WORKS

Julie Gogola: Now, where to find high alcohol content alcohol? Most is diluted a great bit.

Carrie: I just bought a full lace wig will this work for it as well i km scared and don't wanna rip the lace

mpressions4u: Hi- will this work with a lace frontal that was hand made? Frontal was purchased from Aliexpress, but when I put it on it doesn't go from ear-to-ear and it's a 13x4. I don't know if it's the closure or my hairline. lol

Nobody’s business 1: how do I stretch a store brought one front lace brown sugar one this my first wig please help the inside is not like this one it has a elastic cap

Marie O'Toole: Maybe this should go without saying but I'm sure there are other people as absent minded as me - DO THIS IN A VENTILATED ROOM. I now have my window open on a cold winter night trying to get some fresh air in.

Jennifer x9000: I know this is different but what about caps that already stretch and they have two other straps , I cut them but the hair ( lace front) doesn’t reach my hair line. I have a big ass head. 24 in. But I have a small forehead .
