How To: Make A U-Part Wig

Later

Okay, so this video is going to be me attempting to make the? U part on camera. So all i have is this dome cap, which is from a beauty supply store. I just got at my beautiful store by my house and i usually don't use this one. I usually use a different mesh one, but they have any so i'm just gon na try to use this. I feel like it's really fragile, but hopefully it doesn't break but um. So far, all i did was put um marks how to use a lipstick. I just marked where the closure closure's gon na, be so i marked around that. So i know not to sew there and i marked by my ears and that's it so. I'M gon na get started and i'm gon na be using this hair, which is the very touch of beauty here i had in my head. I took it off the other cap and sealed the wefts on it, and now i'm gon na um re-sew it back onto here, and these are what the wefts look like. You can see after they're sealed so first i just start off my needle and thread, and i start down here by that mark where my ear is so i'm just going to start there and tie a knot. So it will stay it's! Oh, my god. It'S so hard to do this on camera, but i'm trying for y'all okay, so i put a knot there and i'm just gon na sew all this and i'm gon na fold. It back hope y'all can see. I'M gon na sew all this, i'm just gon na fold. It back bye, yeah, okay. So this is what it looks like so far with the two bundles of hair and i'm at the start, where i left off right here and do the last bundle and just keep going back and forth until i get to that pink thrown all three bundles in And i had this much left over right there, so i'm just gon na cut that piece off. So this is all i had left and now what i'm gon na do is. I have this piece as well. Y'All can see - and i just take this piece and fold it in half and i'm gon na - put it where that pink line was so. I did was fold the hair in half and because i don't like i don't like when it has like these pieces that have bent over. I like a smooth finish around. So i'm just going to take it fold, the hair in half, and i'm going to lay it here and i'm just going to sew this down so yeah okay. So this is the final product. This is how it came out, and this is the top of it. As you can see like i said i like a smooth finish, so i double wefted it, and i just put it around like that - and this is also helps with when you sew it onto your braids. It helps and make it easier to sew. So this is it here's the back of it. Y'All can see so yeah. That'S my little u-part tutorial on how i make it. I hope it helped. I try to do it. The best way i tried to show y'all the best way. I could so yeah it's what the hair looks like um yeah, it's really big hair, so yeah, i use all three bundles except for that little piece: yay! Okay! So that's about it! If you have any questions or comments. Just let me know um on how i made it um what else i don't. I don't sew through the wefts, i sew around them and i did not cut any of them off um. I didn't cut any of the wefts while i was doing it and um yeah, that's about it i'll, try to show you guys soon in a video what it looks like on oh yeah and before before you put on your head. Of course, you take cut this part out, so i'll just show y'all that real quick, i guess i'm just gon na take my scissors and i'm just gon na cut the net off and make sure you don't cut too close to like where the thread is. Oh gosh, sorry, it fell yeah, so here it is again. Basically this is what it looks like now. I have all this white stuff styrofoam in it, but yeah and hopefully this net will work out. I think it will. It does look pretty sturdy inside as long as i don't like. You know, pull extra hard. So, yes, what it looks like there, you go and i will see you on another video thanks for watching you

Miruhhsocrazy: It honestly depends on your own preference. Personally,u-part allow me to keep the hair longer, its more versatile (takes like 20 minutes, not even to sew the perimeter of your hair), and allows you to change your look whenever you want.

Yupdatschelle L: I like that finishing technique....I'm gonna do that next time I make another u-part

Teezy Bee: I got my foam head from a halloween store for 4$ they also had one that were damaged, like missing noses or dented heads for .99 cents

The Corner: How did it held up? Do you still use it? Did you seal the perimeter where the U part is?

Shy White: Heyy, you said you use a mesh spandex cap now. Where can you buy those? Thanks <3

Samantha Williams: You have to give it up for the 3/4 wig. I use the same wig cap. It's so much more breathable. Good Job!!

Bria C: hey i recently brought some brazilian curly hair, 16" and 18", each 100g and i was wondering if that would be enough hair to look full, since i seen you use all of your three bundles.

Emmarald Kotzebue: how do you know if the u-part will fit your head? what if it is too small or too big

Distinct By Nnani: Can you make an updated video pretty please!

Tanesha McKinney: I couldn't tell how far you sewed above the band..do you sew on the band or how far above do you sew?

MsJLong27: I've made a cap and marked generally around the same areas. I use a mannequin head similar to yours but the cap still comes out too small. :-( How do you get yours to still fit around ya head?

Tamiaaxoxo: Can u show how to put the closure on !

lngreathouse: do you have the loose or tight curls?

Tiffany Ketelsen: What hair is this? Is beautiful!!!

Mzfancyy: Hey..where did you get the manican from? Hopefully I spelled that right..lolol

Bonita_Applebum: there is a stronger net wig cap, with adjustable straps...u could try that one

x0xdc34: i'm pretty sure she means to not put the needle through the weft on the track but below where the weft ends when you're sewing

Bunny: You should have put it on after you finished it. I want to see how it looks on you!!!! :(

Aisosa Stephy Eholor: Can you explain that a little bit more? If you're not sewing through the wefts, where are you sewing through?

LoveCoutureSoul: lol wait..are you going to sleep with your braids out, closure on,and wig off? Or is the wig sewn on also? Why not have the best of both worlds...sew on the closure & have complete access to your natural hair? It'll grow faster bc you'll be able to take care of it better.

One Smart Fro: Did that wig cap ended up working

Keyandria Miller: What type of hair did u use

Dimeslooth: no closure?

calizqueen: This is for anyone to answer lol do you girls prefer sewing down a upart Or a traditional sew in ?

ANGEL: Thanks

Queen's Living: Not sure if you found out yet but you can get some at sally's

Morgan Taylor: I already made a video on that.

lovebeingyoux: where did u get your music

Brittany Johnson: - does your wig ever fall off. Because I'm 16 and I would like yo do this instead of an actual sew in but I'm afraid that it would come off at school or something .

Miruhhsocrazy: Usally these are made by spandex so they stretch. Usually its not really too big. I never measure mine and they always come out good.

Diamond'Da BlackDahlia: What type of hair is that?

XO LoveKimberly: teasedblackpearlz she uses clear tape to build up the manikin head until its fairly the same size as her head!!!!!

Morgan Taylor: I already have a video about that .

ContemporaryLadyC: Was that too big for your head at all?

genab64: wat kiinda cap is that?
