Hi my love welcome back to my channel today. You guys are gon na be so excited because I'm actually filming an install video for a middle part without a closure. I wanted to keep these install videos going and lately I've been doing quick weaves because I haven't felt like going to the salon to get a full sewin. So quick weaves, it is for me so in this video you're, just gon na see me do the same process I did in the last video I will link it down below. I will be doing a quick wave I'll be using the same caps that I used in the last video. Let me just pull them out just in case you guys don't know what I'm talking about. These are the stocking wave caps, a dollar at your local, like Dollar, General or a Family Dollar, or a beauty supply store, Walmart, whatever they can range in price from $ 1 to $ 2, but anywhere, I ever see them in my area, they're always a dollar. I use the male ones like I said before, because they have more breathing room as in like they're, just thinner, so they're more air gets to your scalp they're, not as thick as an actual wig cap. There are wig cap, I'm talking about the stocking lid kept by the way. There are with calves that are netted and stuff like that. But I don't use those because I'm actually gluing the hair onto the cap and I don't use the thick ones, because I don't really like those. I just prefer the stocking ones because they let the hair last longer it stays on your head longer. The glue does seep through the cap, but that's the whole point of it quickly. So just make sure that you do um, you know mold your hair in some kind of way me personally, you're gon na see me do it in this video. I didn't have never done it in any of my videos. I'Ve never showed you the molding method, but I'm going to show you really quickly in this video I'm going to just be like gelling, my hair back into ponytails. You can braid your hair. You could put in a one ponytail I like to do like if I'm doing a part in the middle. I just part my hair down the middle. I do a little section here that I'm gon na have my leave out in and then I part my hair into ponytails flick it back with lots of gel mousse and hair conditioner, bring it up, put it into like a little bun, and you can't really feel It unless you pat on my head - and you can't see it so this is a method that has always worked for me. I absolutely love this method. I stand by it. My hair does not get damaged, as you guys have seen my natural hair if you've been following my natural hair journey. My hair is actually really healthy, but I have been doing so in for a while anyway, but regardless with even with the wig caps, it still grows and still gets taken care of. I wash my hair every two weeks. I still take care of it, so you know wig caps do work if you guys are interested in seeing how I do a middle part without a closure quickly. Please keep watching the rest of this video thanks guys bye. So the first thing you want to do when you feel like a middle part, umm cap is you're going to want to part your hair, well make a section where you're going to have your leave out for your middle part, and mine is going to be right Here so I'm just going to leave like this much hair out so you're sort of making a? U part cap really, so I'm going to just make sure that my parts are straight. I don't know why. I just bothered me whether or not, and then I'm going to just twist or braid this little section right here and put in a ponytail, because this is going to be my leave out and then I'm just going to brush down my edges, because this is also The hair I'm going to leave out. I don't like to have my edges in the cap because years ago. That'S why they're so thin from doing so many caps and cooling my edges down, which I've learned not to do so. I am going to just take a rubber band and just section off the hair that I'm leaving out in the middle. So I don't want my part to go back too far. So I just like to twist the hair that I'm going to be putting in the section that I'm not going to glue. So what I'm going to do is I'm going to mold my hair, back, which I told you guys before that I would do a video on how I do it. So I'm just going to part my hair down the middle. I always mold it in two ponytails. Okay, so I have another piece of paper that I'm just going to lay right here, and this is also going to protect my head. I'M going to take out my cap, which I told you guys I use the male ones because they have more breathing rooms and a lot more air gets through them, so your hair will itch as much and the glue gets through them a lot better. That'S why I use these paper this paper for reassurance just to protect my natural hair, even though I have gel and stuff on it. You still have to do that, so I'm going to pull this stocking cap down and then I'm just going to put the other one on top and, as you guys can see, I can see through it. So it's okay! So again, I used, I usually use about three caps. Just to you know reassure the situation today, I'm going to use two because it's a middle part and for some reason I don't know they I feel like they come up faster. So I'm gon na just use two, and I have enough gel and over here to protect this part of my hair. So so I'm about halfway done as you guys can see. I have half of the wig done, and this is about how long it is don't mind my baggy t-shirt, and just I never do my hair and cute clothes or with makeup on it just doesn't make any sense. I wanted this to be as real as you can, so this is what it looks like halfway done. Okay, so now that we're closer to the top, I'm going to use the smaller pieces that were in my weave before I believe in using hair over and over - and so you can't use it anymore. So I'm just gon na put those like right like this, because my part actually ends right here. So now we're just going to take these smaller pieces and put them right here. So you want to leave enough space here so cut the cab. You don't want to cut your hair, so just make sure that there's a little bit of space here so that your part can come out. So now I'm just going to take my hair and just pin it back. So I can begin to cut the cap so that it's not in the way of me doing that. Okay, so I don't know if I said this in the last video, but you always want to use a rat tail comb when doing this, because this is where it gets tricky. If you cannot see what you're doing, let me lower this camera. If you don't know what you're doing you can cut your own hair, so just be very careful when doing these caps so just take the comb and actually, since I'm using, I just like to lift up one and cut the first one and then I'll cut the Second, but I just like to maneuver the comb in there so that I don't cut my natural hair. Basically, I'm going to put it in between the first cap and I'm just going to start cutting and the cat. The comb will just fall, but you just want to get it started. You don't want to cut your own hair and it can happen really easy trust me. I'Ve done it in the past and I didn't know what I was doing so now. I can move on to the second one and here's what we're gon na do see. You can fill your cap loosen up and if it feels like it's too loose and if the glue isn't sticking because maybe you use too much gel or something you can sew it like, I did in the last video mine's not doing that. So I don't really need to sew it, but there we go alright. So I'm going to take my hair and just put it up in a little bun because we are going oh, I am going to just sew the perimeter down and that's all you're doing is just sew in it. You'Re just securing your hair. So I like to take a needle and thread and you should use silk thread, but I use cotton just because this is what they gave me at. The beauty supply store. So I'm using this and it's kind of double threaded so that I can tie it in a knot. I'M going to start on the ends here and be careful that you don't get your own hair or your scalp in this. You don't want to poke yourself. So just be careful
