Hey youtube: it's me, Sarah and I'm here to do a video on ten tips on how to take care and maintain your synthetic curly hair. I'Ve been wearing this for years now and I love I love this look. I love big bushy, cheap, hair and um. I feel like it's the most realistic, looking synthetic hair, because this looks real to me. You know but um yeah I'm going to get started. I wrote down ten tips, so I don't waste any time. So, let's get started tip number one. Don'T brush off the hair. I think everyone kind of knows this tip especially first thing that it care you're, probably wondering why shouldn't you brush out the synthetic hair? Well, it's going to get really bushy and it's going to get frizzy and if you brush out the synthetic hair, it's not going to go back like human hair. It'S just going to say that ugly frizzy mess and you're going to have to cut it out and you're gon na lose hair with it and you're not going to be able to fix your weaves. So just don't brush out your hair. If you want your hair to be bigger, then do what I do. I just separate the curls and then just make your hair bigger. That way, I can make my hair twice the size of this. If I really sit there and just separate the curls, you know, while you're getting ready, just separate the curls, but um don't brush out your hair number two cut out the naps. As you guys know, in the back of your hair, it's going to get pretty nappy. So I would say like every two days I cut out the maps and what I do is I find the naps and then you're going to want to separate them. Separate the map from the curl make sure that you separate it good because you don't want to cut off, you know the curl and then you just want to cut the NAP cut them up off and I don't have any because I just did this yesterday. So I would show you but um I don't have any so yeah cut out the naps cuz. It'S going to help your hair look more fresh and better, and if you don't, then your hair is going to be looking good up here and then you're going to want to like clip your hair and then it's going to be nothing but a big Bush back There so make sure to cut the NAP 3. Try not to wash the wheat um it will. The racing line is because you'll lose color. You will lose up color. Definitely and the way just won't be the same. It really won't. So I try to wait till three or four weeks to wash the leave for the less product. The better um don't be trying to overdo the product with this hair because it doesn't take it very well. If anything, you should use water and a little bit of product. I made a video on it, but that's what I recommend you do, but don't overdo the product, because synthetic hair just doesn't really hold the products too well, and it's going to be a big mess and all your all your curls are going to come together and It'S just going to be a bad time. 5. Don'T try to straighten the hair number one, because it'll take your whole day too, because um, it's synthetic and I mean it's doable because I've done it before it really is doable, but it just takes too long, not worth the Hat so you're going to redo your Part because, after you straighten your hair, your parts going to look all jacked up so you're going to redo the part so just go out and buy. You know straight hair. If you want it six, you must wrap your hair up at night. Well, I use is, is silk um, so what is called scarf and on one end I tied it in a double knot. You should also invest in these little headbands. I use them as hair ties and again I did another video on that on how to some of the synthetic hair. I mean how to swim with a quick leap, but these are what the basketball players used and they are supposed to be used as headbands, but I use them as hair ties and it is a freaking miracle like this is the best thing ever everybody go out And buy these, these were a dollar Family Dollar and I got a whole bunch of them and I still it's been like a year now and they're still lasting and there's like old bunch of different colors, so go out and buy these so that it's easy for You to go out - and you know, tie your hair because look how far they stretch, so they will really wrap around your hair good. So I put my hair in a bun and then I tie the bonnet over right overnight. The reason why I want to wrap it is because tossing and turning your hair is going to get frizzy not beat, and you're gon na have to cut out. You know your hater on the sides and to make it thinner, especially if you're also cutting it out in the back, so you're just going to be like thin as heck, because you didn't wrap your hair at night. So try to record seven always save some hair from installing your weave. I saved about this much hair after you wash your hair for the first time, um you're, going to want to put this in after not before after so put this in after you wash your hair for the first time, and I would try to focus on the Crown and maybe like a couple in the back but focused on the front just to kind of freshen up your weave to try to make it stretch as long as you need it to you, oh, and also to fix the part, because these parts kind of separate, Sometimes so you might need to do some reconstruction 8'o synthetic hair allows water and I made my own water bottle. This is an old cat, flea, tick spray, and I just now I use it as a water bottle. This is a lifesaver, so yeah water bottle and water. Synthetic gloves, water, synthetic glass, water, synthetic loves, water, 9 use. You can use products. Um here are just a couple that I use. This is two-in-one conditioning spray, it's just good because it has a lot of water. In it, so you don't, if you're going to use this, then you don't need the water bottle, but if you're going to be using grease or something, then you definitely want to use a water bottle. I also use hair lotion, so I know that black women have a whole lot of hair products at home. We just tend to. I don't even know how it happens, but over the years they just build up. So literally synthetic hair is so easy to maintain. You can use whatever products that you want because um these great you can use anything literally anything. So that's one thing that I love about synthetic hair and if you screw up the hair, it's cheap, so it's going to be alright! Oh no hair spray, no hair spray, um, just don't do it, it ruins the hair. It really does it just dries it out and it's just terrible. So take it from me. I learned my lesson a while ago. Just don't use any hair spray in the last tip number ten. If you wash your weave - and this is how I do it first of all it takes about it - takes me about an hour to wash my leave. I do it in the shower. Here are the two products that I use. I bought these at Big Lots. Just says: 325 320 right um there all right, I mean they're like generic whatever, but this is what I use um. I just do two shampoos, and then I do one big, like I literally drench my hair and conditioner, and I leave it in there for probably like 15 minutes in the shower. Then I use one of these great hair ties and I just put on top of my head. I wait like 15 minutes and I rinse out the conditioner um. Then I wrap my hair up in a towel and then I tie I dry my hair up a little bit not tied up in this bun. I'Ve had up in a bun on top of my head. Then I wrap it into towel, and then I tie another one of these around the towel to secure it. Then I go to sleep and I wake up in my hair is so soft and the curls are so beautiful and separated, and it even seems like it's more curly than it was before um. So yeah, that's what I do and then I don't put any product in it. I just let it be for like a couple days, um and then it's still going to be damp whenever you wake up, because we tied it in a bun um and to make it really really big, because, usually by like three or four weeks, your hair. Is it just gets smaller and smaller and smaller? So I like sit there and I separate the curls and when I blow-dry it flip it over and my hair is humongous after life. But those are my ten tips on how to maintain curly synthetic hair for a long time - and I love this hair and I hope that you guys love curly synthetic hair to just as much as I do um it's only synthetic Carol ever buy because I love It so much and thank you guys for watching this video and I'll see you guys later bye.

Patricia Scott: This will sound crazy but the best product that I found to put on synthetic hair is body lotion! One day when I was out of town, I realized I had nothing to freshen up my curly synthetic hair so when I was putting lotion on my arms, I just slapped some on my hair. It was that greasy Nivea and I was amazed. Since then, all I use is body lotion, not necessarily greasy Nivea, but I use the smell good Bath and Body works. It really works

Miss Babe 404: Do you think if I mix a little bit of shea moisture brand body lotion with water in a spray bottle that that would be a nice treatment for my hair  to help bring out my curls and make it smell nice? I use natural hair products and they tend to be kind of oily since theyre from natural sources.  I don't know I'm new to this. I'm also in Japan right now, so it's kinda hard to find ebony female hair products. All I have is body lotion, which I usually use for my natural hair. really brings out the curls. What kind of hair lotion do you use? What brand if you don't mind me asking. I do wear a lot of wigs and I've noticed that oil does not mix well with wigs. I'm trying to see what kind of ingredients is in the hair lotion you use though. Because your hair looks so nice!

AnimeProfilePicsAreForWimps: You're a lifesaver!

yaya804: Omg no! Please don't cut it!! Just finger detangle when wet with a cheap conditioner! I keep hearing people say cut the knots out but I washed my brand new curly synthetic wig last night and the spots that had some tangles came untangled with spot finger detangling with Cantu conditioner and then twisting with the curl pattern, just like real hair fibers, to moisten, shape, define and defrizz the curls where they looked frizzy and disheveled. I would only cut it absolutely necessary...and don't wait so long to detangle...treat it like real hair..
