Wearing A U-Part Wig With My Type 4 Afro Short Natural Hair Twa [Featuring Eayon Hair]

Hey everyone, so i want to thank ian hair for today's collaboration. I'M going to be showing you guys a u-part wig. This is 12 inches yaki straight and it is in the color 1b. First, i'm just going to show you what it looks like right out of the box. This is 100 human hair, so it can be colored straightened or permed as well. Here'S the! U part at the top, so you can blend your own hair. It does have two clips two combs. It has a comb in the back and it also has adjustable straps at the back. I'M just going to go ahead and cut off the little strings right here that are attaching the u-part wig together, because this is where my hair is going to come out at, and i did just do the big chop a month ago, and so when i first Did this collaboration? I was still relaxed and transitioning, so i kind of got nervous. I was wondering: was i going to be able to blend my hair with this wig so definitely stay tuned for those results. So here's the wig and what it looks like with the little straps cut a loose. This would definitely be best for relaxed hair, but i think you could also get it to work for natural hair as well. So i'm just going to put this on my little mannequin stand because it has a few little crinkles and dents in it. I'M going to use this leave-in conditioner just to wet it up a bit, get it a bit moisturized and then i'm going to blow dry. It to get some of the dents that came in it when it was in the box as far as the little crinkles in the hair. That gives it that yaki straight look. I could flat iron that, but i'm actually gon na leave it in there just for it can look like it has a bit more texture, but if you want to, you can use a flat iron and get those crinkles out. So this is what the wig looks. Like after i'm done blow drying, i got most of those dents out and now we're ready to install. So for my hair. I just did four really big braids and i left the middle part out which is going to go on the outside of the wig in the u-part area and, as you can see, my hair is very thick very dense. I do classify myself as tight for hair. I'M going to use this little straightener brush just to initially get some of the the kinks and coarseness out, and then i'm going to go back through with a flat iron. I'M very aware that i need to be careful while using heat with natural hair, because i know a lot of naturals don't really like using heat on their hair, but i feel like just using it responsibly and not using it too often is the key. So i'm going to go ahead and get ready to install the shoe part wig. I unclipped all of the little clips on here and then i'm just gon na clip them down around my braid. Some of the pros about this wig are that it's really beginner friendly and i consider myself a beginner when it comes to wigs. So i try to get wigs that i don't have to do a lot of customizations too, and also you don't need any glue or any lace for this wig all right. So after i have the wig secure on my head, i'm just going to part my hair down the middle, and i got really nervous right here because i felt like my hair was a little darker than the wig, and i also felt that my hair was still More on the core side, but we're going to continue to work with it and we're going to get it going so after combing the sides down. I went ahead and used my babeless flat iron to try to lay it down some more, but, as you can see, my hair is really coarse and it's really resistant. So what i'm gon na actually end up doing is using a bit of hairspray in a scarf and i'm going to actually wrap it down just to try to like get it to stay down. But, as you can see, my hair is very resistant. It'S very coarse and very resistant. So, as i previously stated, i'm going to use some hairspray in this scarf right here and i'm basically going to use the hairspray, because it's a humidity proof hairspray and it's going to help to keep my hair straightened down. And i'm going to use this scarf to help flatten my hair with the wig. So this is actually the next day i had a few errands to run. So i just left the scarf on and i ran around and did my errands and i went to sleep and i woke up - and this is how my hair is looking. So i decided i was going back and forth between. If i wanted to just flat iron. It all together or if i wanted to add some curls to it, but by it being kind of flat with me sleeping on it. I thought that going with some curls would be the best option, i'm just adding a bit of heat protectant, because i'm getting ready to use some heat on my hair at first. I decided to use this curler right here because i figured that it would be easier and quicker, but once i saw the curl that it was producing, i was not satisfied with that, so i actually went and got my wand curler and, as you can see, the Curls came out a lot better with the world one curler, so i decided to go ahead and curl my entire head with this. So i'm gon na, let you guys watch this and then i'm gon na try and back in in just a second. So do all right you guys, so this is pretty much my hair after i have finished styling it. I'M gon na add a little more hairspray to get these curls to last a little longer throughout the day and also to try to help my hair to not revert.
