Hair tutorial, hairstyle

Hey loves today, i'm sharing with you guys, five of my signature hairstyles to help you look chic, classy and put together on a day-to-day everyday basis and they're quick, well, they're, not they're, not quick, but they're, not long either. They'Re happy medium you're not going to be taking ages to do your hair. So let's get into number one. This hairstyle is the classic half up half down hairstyle. Now, whenever i do this one, i honestly feel like they need to reshoot mean girls and put me in it, but as like the nice girl, one of the nice girls, because i'm not a mean girl, i never have been. I never will be. I'Ve always been a goody two shoes. So what i like to do with the half up half down hairstyle is i take my thumbs and really just do it in almost like a diagonal motion towards the upper part of my head. If that makes sense, so all i'm doing now is making a ponytail up top. It really depends how high you want your ponytail to be, but for me i think the higher the better, because you then get to have a free facelift. Okay, so now i'm tying it to the top of my head. Like this see, it just gives your face an instant face, lift when you tie the ponytail high up, and that, for me, is winner winner. Chicken dinner now looks a little bit silly like this, but don't worry it will come together so now that you've smoothed all that out, you can see at the back. It'S i don't know if it's even at the minute, but let's pretend, if it isn't. Even let's pretend it's even and now what we're going to do before we tackle the ponytail. I'M actually just going to clip this out of the way just for the minute, so that we can focus on making sure the bottom part of the hair is all nice and neat with this half up half down set from lullabells. It comes with one two. Three four sets of clippings to make it really really full. Now i don't think i'm gon na use all four. I think i'm probably just going to be able to manage three two in my head. You just separate, add a section and then hold this section. Apart. Take your clipping piece, unclip, hold the middle clip and then attach the middle clip to the bottom. So i'm putting the final piece in here and then i'm taking that hair down and i'm covering it all up. Take the ponytail from the leather bells brush it out to release the curls and then i'm going to take the little comb and i'm going to pop it right in here. So take this around i'm going to tilt my head back and i'm going to take this comb and pop it right in at the front of the ponytail, and i'm going to take this section here and i'm going to wrap it underneath the ponytail. And then we've got the rest of the velcro strap, that's also going to be wrapped down and underneath the ponytail and back up again you just lift up the pony and wrap it round and then what you're going to do is you're going to take the little Bobby pins that it comes with and secure the ponytail in place, so i'm taking the bobby pin and i'm securing it in place underneath the ponytail it does come with two. So if you do feel like you need to use two use two now that i've done, that i can brush out the ponytail and make sure that it is looking nice and fluffy make sure the rest of the hair stays in place. This is really where you do damage control, make sure everything is nicely packed together and now i'm going to lay it back, but i'm also going to spread it out just a little bit, i'm going to spread it out a bit on top of my head so That it almost gives like a 90s fight, because remember what i'm saying to you guys they need to recast, mean girls and put me in it as the nice one and then the final thing that i do for this hairstyle is i take it like this. I bring it together and i bring it round and then i just fix any potential fly-aways to make sure that it just looks really nice and sleek. Now i would wear this hairstyle for a girls branch if i'm going for afternoon tea, if i'm going somewhere nice just to have lunch, this is very, very much a daytime hairstyle. For me, this is a style that i would wear if i'm out with the girls or, if i'm going for a nice little tea event or maybe like an influencer event which they haven't come for me yet, but they will and when they do. You may see me in this hairstyle and i think it's really nice for summer. You can wear it with shorts, a nice top. Can you imagine a pair of zimmerman shorts and like a h, m top or a zara top and then some sliders, like some hermes or on sliders or some nice sandals, that you can get from jimmy choo? Oh my gosh! I really love this hairstyle. I think it's so chic and it's one of those hairstyles that you can actually wear in summer because it is out of the way your hair does stay out of the way, and it just looks so chic, especially from behind and from the side. I love this hairstyle. This hairstyle gets a 10 out of 10 for me for this hairstyle, i'm starting off with some freshly washed blow-dried and straightened hair, and i'm also going to be applying some clip-ins from beauty works. So the first thing i do is i literally brush all my hair back, just to kind of get it out of my face, get it out of the way and then i can just grab one of the shorter extensions by shorter. I mean this way because there's this length and then there's another link that extends to about here, so i'm taking this one and i'm applying it closer to the back of my hair and now that my hair is separated. I literally take one of the clips. The middle one i hold on to the middle one and i apply it to the middle of the line so that everything's going to match up on either side. And then i move the hair out of the way on the side. And i take the edge of the clip and i slide it down and clip it in now. Sometimes you are going to have to move and adjust the clips to make sure that they fit in the middle. So that's what i'm doing now, i'm just moving the clip along so that it fits, and then i take this other side and i slide it in and down and that's that for the first one, as you can see, that's now been attached. So i then repeat that process just going a little bit further up this time, i'm pulling the hair down separating it on either side. I'M doing it literally just above my ear now that i've done that i'm grabbing the longest length extension and i'm unclipping them all to make sure that they can actually go in properly. Now, if i were you, i would suggest getting a clip or a hair tie or a hairpin just to clip it together here, so that you can use both hands. But i do not know where i placed my clips and i tend to just do it this way anyway, following the same process clipping the extensions in feeling it, you could use a mirror at the back of your head. If you wanted to just to kind of see where things are, because sometimes it can get a little bit messy and you do have to kind of gauge where the hair is and where it isn't. Okay, now sometimes i like to clip it a little bit further down, as you can see, it's not directly on the line that either happens if it's a little bit too long or if i prefer to have a more seamless transition between where the hair in so It'S not like bumpy there. You know we've added that piece in now, it's time to seal the deal with the final two clip-ins that go here and they're quite tiny ones, so they work really nicely because it means that you're not getting any bulky action here at the front of your head, Because that's the last thing you want, you want the clip-ins to look very seamless and blend into your natural hair, and that only really happens when you haven't got bulky hair clippings i mean so now. What i'm literally going to do is i'm just going to take the clip and push it in and pull it down. Just like that, i'm going to take this hair and i'm just going to fold it over like that and then i'm going to take this side. I'M going to brush it out, make sure all the partings are in place, apply a little bit more serum or shall i call it snot apply a little bit more slot to get everything to agree. I take this side and i put it behind my ear just because i feel a lot freer. That way, i feel a lot more comfortable to have it behind my ear, when i know that i'm not going to get any fly-aways or anything like that, that's how i prefer to have it. Then i make sure everything on this side is neat and tidy, and that's that side now we've just got this side to do and we do the exact same thing. Okay, i didn't tell you guys about how my hair all fell out. It was when i was having a little bit of blonde ambition, which i low-key, don't think, has gone away, but it has when it comes to my natural hair, because i dyed my natural hair blonde and it was cute for a while up until i decided to Texturize my hair, and that is a massive no-no, because if you've bleached your hair and colored it and then you go ahead and put texturizer or any other chemicals on top of your hair, that's already been processed with peroxide and coloring and all sorts of things then You'Re in trouble - and i didn't listen - it literally said on the instructions, do not use if you've already had color or bleach or anything it said do not use, and i didn't listen because i was stubborn and that was what i got for it. In the end, all my hair fell out literally fell out a year and a half ago, and i had to start all over again with my hair journey, and so this is where we are a year and a half later and i'm not mad. Because i'll be honest, i thought that all my hair was going to fall out. I mean i thought it was never going to grow back when it did fall out, and so i was like lord please i'm sorry for what i did to my hair. I'M sorry for being reckless with it, and so now it's grown back and my goal is to get my hair to grow to this length of the extensions. That'S my goal so for this signature hairstyle, it's both behind the ear and then this side in front. Sometimes it alternates, sometimes it's this side in front. It just feels like today. This is the side, that's gon na be in front, and that's literally how i do it and you just have to you, know, just triple check and make sure that there's no tracks showing anywhere and then you're good to go i'll. Show you it from the back. Sometimes i'll also just have my hair like this, have both sides back and just i like to have my hair out of the way, but when it comes to summer, you will not catch me having this hairstyle, i just don't like having my hair down in the Summer because it gets so hot and then i tend to sweat over here and then it just makes it so messy, and i just really can't stand that. But one thing i do love is the fact that this is human hair. So it means that you know you treat it as though you would treat your natural human hair. Essentially, you wash it like how you would you use it in the same conditions that you normally would, depending on your hair, texture and your hair type, but the thing i love about today's clipping extensions is that they literally are hair and clippings to match the texture Of your hair, depending on whether it's type 4a type 4c type 3b, you've got a plethora of choices. The time when i wear this hairstyle most is if i want to either be really quick with my hair or if i want to look really professional or if i want to keep it sleek classy and let's say if i want to be taken seriously. I just need a plain out of the way hairstyle that is very inconspicuous nothing major going on, and that is essentially how and when i i do this hairstyle and it doesn't take me long at all, provided that my hair is already washed. It doesn't take me long at all. Seldom do i have it with both of them like this. I i never ever do it that way, it's either all back or one side, and i think it's usually this side that i have that. I have them out in front, and i also never have it like this either and that's just because, when the wind blows, i don't want to have an experience where my natural hair separates from the extensions because, in my opinion, that looks extremely tacky. So i'd rather just tuck it all behind the ear and you know damage control that way, because then, if the wind blows nothing's separating from anything, my hair, just kind of stays put and that's it for this hairstyle. Okay, now for this next hairstyle, i took out this little clipping. That was on the side here, we've taken it out and i'm still deciding if we're going to use it, which we probably are we're going to use it just under here on this side and we're going to clip it in. Let me make it more secure in the corner, clip it in just so that it gives it a bit more volume, and then i'm going to bring this down and i'm going to tuck it immediately behind my ear like that, then i'll put that out of the Way now, once i've done that, i take all of the hair on this side and i pull it forward because we're going to start here and add the curls okay. Now, if you want to you, can decide to put gel over here, but i'm not going to because it's such a hot day and we've got other hairstyles to get through. You could have it like this if you want to, but i never do it like this. What i do is, i start curling and i'm using the beauty works professional, curling wand. I believe this is the molly may um collaboration, and so i just take a section of this hair. I start from the front here and i hold the wand downwards and i put it behind and then i start wrapping it around forward like this. So i do that and i leave it here for about 30 seconds and then i release that sounds gross anyway. I'M letting go now, then i don't touch it. I just let it do what it's doing. I let it hang until. I have completely finished all of the other sections. Okay, so i did the rest of this side off camera and i'm just going to show you for the last two sections: how i do it on this side. So i'll take the back section here and i said i do it a little bit differently on this side. All i do is i take the wand again, i face it downwards. I put it behind wait. I think i do it the exact same way. It just looks different when you're doing it on the other side, but i put it behind and i wrap it around and i face it downwards. That'S literally all i do, and i try my best to get my natural hair in alongside the um extensions when i'm wrapping the hair around just so that it you know, creates that seamless, look when it comes down to it. Okay, this is the last one. Let me untuck from behind the ear and then i wrap it around i'll. Try not to bend my nails. Please do wear gloves when you do this guys. I just i tend to not. I just don't use the gloves. I just i'm used to it now, but occasionally i do burn myself, because the wand is pretty hard. Okay, so now i've done that, i usually i would let it you know sit for a bit and i would wait until it's set a little bit before. I start to do the whole combing out situation, but today's a different day, i'm showing you guys how i do it. So i start by taking this side the side that i did first and i just start brushing it out, and i love how it still keeps the curl. This is honestly my favorite curling wand. Absolutely ever it just gives you such voluminous bouncy curls. I take the brush that i use from molly may collection from the beauty works. This one is just a different texture, so it just really fluffs up fluffs out the hair. Okay. So that's that done on that side and then i do the same thing on this side and then that's it. This is how i have my hair, usually a lot of the time. I have my hair like this. If i can really be bothered or if i'm going out or if i'm doing something important or if it's like a glam a glamorous day or something like that, i will have my hair like this and just make sure that i brush it out. I do take my brushes with me when i go out because you never know when you need to kind of just retouch and then i apply the got to be spray, and i spray it all over here and i do also spray on the curls just to Keep everything bouncy and voluminous, and sometimes i'll, put my hair back on this side, but i'm really it doesn't really matter as much as with the last hairstyle, whether i have one in front or both in front. I do definitely like to have at least one in front with this hairstyle because of the the curls like. For me, this is very much hollywood red carpet kind of hairstyle, but more of an everyday look for me yeah, and it doesn't take that long to do once you apply the clip ins and you know what you're doing you literally just roll it curl it release It and then you're done depending on how long you want to let the curls sit for, but today i showed you just how i do it and then you get these really loose hollywood curls that are kind of beachy, but not really peachy. Just you know: wavy flowy, everyday glam, and that's that hairstyle done for this hairstyle. We are starting off with our natural hair. I say natural hair, but i mean the hair, that's growing from our scalps and i'm literally just tying it into a bun. Now to keep everything in place. I like to either use this serum or i like to use the eco styler gel, but today i'm using this one because of the weather, it's just so hot. I want something lightweight and not heavy on my hair, so all i'm doing is taking my brush from beauty works and i am brushing all the hair back and making sure everything lays down extremely sleek. Now you can place your ponytail wherever you want it to. Essentially, hang i'm going to go for this positioning. Sometimes i'll do a really low one, but today i'm going for not just not necessarily in the middle of the head, but between the middle and the bottom of the head. That'S where i'm tying the ponytail! Okay! Now we've got our ponytail in check, we're going to add some more clippings, but this time we are using lillabel's clipping extensions. Okay, this ponytail comes in a really nice bouncy kind of curl, and that's what i really really love about it. I love curly hair. Very, very, very chic and classy, and it comes with two clips which you'll see how i use that in a minute. I'M just going to take them off and, as you can see, it comes with a velcro strap and a little comb over there that you use to clip everything in place. So this is how i do it. I take this little comb thing and i place it right here at the top. I shove it down in there and i tuck this side, which doesn't have this extra piece this side here i tuck it underneath the ponytail and then i take this velcro side and i wrap it around. I wrap it around the ponytail until i get to the hair piece and then i use this little hair piece to wrap it around all the way. And then, when you get to the final section, you use the bobby pins that come with it to secure the position. The thing i love about lulabelle's ponytails, is how thick the hair actually is, and it's synthetic and it just looks so nice. This hairstyle is literally done in no time it doesn't take long, and if you wanted to make it windproof, of course, you can apply the got to be or whatever hairspray that you have apply it to this section and just around this section here, but leave the Rest of the pony to flow freely now this hairstyle is very similar to the ponytail in terms of it's perfect for summer, but this one is actually my go-to for every single day when i can't be bothered to fuss with my hair. This is my absolute go-to. So we're starting off with the ponytail, as we did before, just your natural hair, that's growing from your scalp and then what i'm going to do is take the way. I grabbed that what i'm going to do is take my view. I'M going to take my beauty, works extensions and i'm just going to brush this out again. This is going back to the human hair and we're going to unclip the clips, and what i'm going to do is i'm going to attach this clip just like we did with the comb right on top of the ponytail and click it in and then i'm going To go underneath the ponytail with the next clip and click it in, and i'm going to go around with this last clip and then clip it in wherever you find space on the ponytail. Just like that, once you've done that you're then going to smooth the hair out with the brush for this next part and then you're going to twist twisting it towards you twist it twist it twist it all the way around. I tend to stop halfway just so that i can keep control of the actual hair, so i twist stop halfway and i pull it over and round just like this, and once i get here i twist again, i keep twisting keep twisting keep twisting keep twisting then, Once i get to here, i tuck it under, and i keep twisting twist twist twist twist twist and i turn it over again and i keep twisting until i get to the end and then i will keep twirling around and tuck the hair underneath the clips. Just like that, and then i take a brush or something maybe i can use my fingers sometimes, and i just tuck in all the flyaways at the bottom of my head and then what i'll do is i'll take some got to be spray and i'll spray. All the back here to make sure everything stays up, sleek like this and to make sure that the bun stays intact. This is my absolute go-to hairstyle, whether it's summer, whether it's winter, whether it's spring on a day-to-day basis. You will literally find me in this ballerina bun. It is such a quick and easy hairstyle. It is literally my go-to every single day, you'll probably find me in this hairstyle unless i've got an occasion or i want to put in more of an effort. But this is literally my five minute hairstyle the bella in the bun, and it's perfect. It'S so perfect for just everyday minimal effort. Hairstyle and you still look put together and what i like to do. Sometimes at night is i'll, just put a silk scarf or a satin scarf over my head tie it and then, when i wake up in the morning, i don't have to worry about my hair. I just take it off and the hairstyle is still completely intact. I don't have to worry so this is definitely one of my favorite hairstyles for everyday, quick, looking sleek and chic and minimal effort anyway darlings.
