Hmm, some quieted water right here anyway, how y'all doing fam hope you guys are having a great day wherever you are watching this right now in case this is your first time on this channel you're, not a part of the YouTube family, yet I'm Devin on deck. I talk about fashion and the technical side of social media and content creation here and today I'm gon na teach you exactly how I keep my sneakers just like this. Even when I'm wearing them, you notice, the laces are very, very clean, they're in place. The overall silhouette of the shoe is not obstructed with the crazy bow and you can keep it on your foot just like this, and I'm gon na show you exactly how to do that where, after this intro, okay now here's what you need. One is a shoe. Obviously it can be a dress, shoe or a sneaker, but just make sure that the lace panel itself is the kind that has the holes punched in it as opposed to the ones the loops on them, like a Jordan, 11 and wouldn't work as well as this Type of sticker, because it's not gon na clean, like this one, will at the top as long as it has these holes here at the top you're good to go, and the second thing which I never see on videos like these is a shoehorn because you want To make sure that, after you lace them up and you tuck the laces that you're not crushing the Hills on the back of your shoe, if you'd like to invest in sneakers, that are quality that you love that are gon na last you for years like I Do then you want to make sure you use a shoehorn because it makes a world of a difference. I mean these are brand new, but on my feet right now I have another pair. This is great, this is a 10 and you see the heels on. These are flawless the had these for like six months more than dozens of times, but not only am i cleaning my shoes, but also preserving them from getting damaged. So if you want to save yourself from that, then you want to use yourself a shoehorn because comparatively not so bad. You feel me now, let's break down the steps on how to do this. First thing you want to do is loosen your laces about halfway down the shoe and then make sure that top lace is luke from the outside in not inside out. Next, you want to lift the insole from the back of the shoe and then tuck the laces underneath it and then put it on using your shoehorn and you're good to go now. The second method, if your insole is actually glue the bottom of your shoe and you can't lift it up, then you want to tie it and just tuck it right there above your foot. That is a little less comfortable than putting it underneath. The actual install of the shoe, but whether you tuck them or tie them, make sure you do that before putting this shoe back on, cuz that'll make sure it's tight enough not to fall off and, as a pro tip, make sure you walk around for a little Bit before you start your day, just to kind of see if the shoe is fitting too tight or too loose, you want to have a good balance between it, not falling off or slipping off, but also not cutting off your circulation all right. So once you find that good medium, then nice balance you'll be good to go and have a minimal clean. Looking shoe all day, so there you go. Everybody that's been wondering exactly how I laced my sneakers now you know, and if you haven't sub to this channel. Yet this is the only place on YouTube. You'Re not only gon na find how to dress between dapper and casual, smart and Street, but also how to take better outfit photos how to create better content, how to be more successful in social media. It'S like both worlds kind of came together, and you got this channel right here, so that sounds good to you feel free to hit that stuff button in that belt icon. And if you wonder what the shoe is tomorrow right, these are the capris by coil. These are Italian made; these are beautiful. I have them in like six different colors. This is my newest cop, the all great pair, I believe it's called like pebble or something like that. I'Ll link them down below in the description, and you know where to find it. Thank y'all so much for watching. I really appreciate you make sure you get a thumbs up on this video. If you enjoyed it, you have any questions for me: leave them down below and I will see you on the next one. Biggs

Daniel JW: This guy ALWAYS gets *_straight to the point_* Thanks for never wasting our time Devan :) *Best fashion/tech channel out*

Max Nda: No time wasted on advertising and promoting silly brands. He always gets straight to the point.

Grey: This is perfect for skateboarding, no more ripping shoe laces. Thank you!

Oliver Kiell: Thanks Devan! Im 40 years old and wanted to wear my new sneakers without having them tied (I have done this for 30 years!!) finally you have given me a simple but effective way of not having them tied!

Normallyboring: Its really refreshing seeing that there are still good youtube channels out there, that are quality content with no annoying trends. Thank you man keep doing what you do!

Mickey Mouse: I have been having trouble with my school shoe laceless being super long, also it tends to untie itself and having to double knot it. But this works really well

Dhananjay Sabharwal: This is so simple yet so brilliant. I am following quite a few youtube channels related to fashion but the type of videos you make are so unique!

Ishaan: Quick & straight to the point. Great job

Chilling With Aryeh: Devan is awesome! A really good content creator, very interactive on social media too, he's replied to my comments on YouTube and Instagram and I think his presentation + interaction with followers is unique and better than anyone else's I've seen. Keep it up Devan

YetiLyf & Chill: Always wanted to know how to do this, thank you so much, cant believe it was that easy! No more stabbing shoe laces into the top of my foot haha

Kristen Everhart: Been trying to find a way to lace my shoes for ease of putting on/taking off my shoes for TSA. This is SUPER helpful. Also if you don’t tie into a bow and just make a knot with the laces going towards the toe it’s not uncomfortable

Dope Drums: I've been doing this since the 90's but never thought of placing them under the soles, I always go the uncomfortable-bow-route which always untangles itself. The benefit however is that it always holds the lip in a fixed position.

Kevin: I like this set. It's like come to the fashion and tech corner for a one on one. Almost like those high school and college water cooler sessions to chop it up right fast. Excellence my guy, exellence.

RayLo: Laces under the soles so simple why didn't I think of that.

omer z: not gonna lie, this is the most helpful video i have seen in my entire lifespan regarding sneakers. props to your G

Genesis: Omg thank you for this!!! Such a clean look.

hazeonthehub: Thank you sooo much bro, because of you I finally know how to make my laces like this.

Victor De La Cruz: This is what YouTube videos should be, respecting my intelligence and straight to the point. Good work!

Mesmeric Michelle: I've been wearing shoes wrong for almost my whole life until I found this video!

Jeff L: I've been doing this for years, great tip shoes look so much better without the shoelace bow

Skins189lbs: Dude, this is sick! I recognized the koios right away. Love them. I'm buying the triple whites. Can't wait to wear them with those laces tucked. And glad to learn about a shoe horn. Anything to preserve the nice kicks!

JuanchoRodz XXX: A simply and very clear explanation. You deserve my like good man.

Herve Massok: This is a ridiculously good tips! I swear I am one of them dude having issues with laces as I hate doing them Thanks for that my man!

Leon Diehl: Wow that was easy to do and works better than I first thought. Thanks for the advice!!!

Nataliya Aleshina: Fantastic! Loved this video! Great positive attitude!!!

Zhaprin CG: THIS REALLY A GREAT HELP! THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Dylan O Brien: Hey Devan, quick question. Those 6 month old shoes youre wearing still look great at the back where your heel would drag when walking. How do you keep the back of soles from wearing down? Just wear different shoes more often?

Charles Shorrock: Finally, someone who isn't just repeating the same nonsense but offering sensible advice. Shoehorns can extend the life of all your footwear. Thanks to a full length one I can slide into my Blundies as easily as my bedroom slippers.

Needless Essentials: I don’t know why I didn’t think of tucking under the insole. Great vid! Thanks!

Wakki FTW: Thank you so much! My $15 shoes look so much better now

--: I’ve been doing this especially the one with the glued sole. However, It comes off during walking.

TheSajeGuy: @DevanOnDeck I recommend getting elastic laces that look the same so you crease the shoe less and you never have to worry about messing with laces

Turfa: Thank you so much for making this amazing video

PolarBearAK: Omg this is amazimg my shoes look so much better without the huge messy note on the top thank you

iZen13: Thanks bro. Adding this to my self care routine for 2019

Dontae Catlett: Great hack brotha thanks for the tip I remember weaving my laces back in the day with 2 different colors

Laura Sanchez: Damn your shoes look clean af. Anyway I have had my laces tied on top of my foot for YEARS, I didn't even think about putting them under the soles! Thank you so much :)

Briekachu Davies: I never thought of the soles trick before man! you saved my day walking around campus :)

Mwelwa Nguni: Devin the GOAT. Really the most helpful fashion youtuber rn

Jose Gutierrez: Hey Devan. Great video! How do you keep your midsoles so clean? I find I have the most trouble there. Thanks!

afifajmal: Been doing the alternative way for years and all this while i thought that was not a correct way to do it lol. Good to know someone else is doing the same

Nico.33: My personal tweak to this, is to do a simple slip-knot on either side of the lace(to keep the lacing tight on top), that way the laces sit to the side which really helps make things more comfortable(no risk of pinching at the tongue, or standing on the laces).

23p23 41: I am 25...almost 26 and i just diacovered how to lace my shoes this way... Its like i was living in cave for years

Opeyemi Akinwole: I'm definitely teaching my kids this.. Thanks so much!

Adam Brooks: Thanks man, super helpful. Feeling fresh as now!

Phat Tran: This is the most useful video to me today <3

kaliber aiz: Wow, I've been doing this since last year and I thought it's a weird habit of hidding it

Luw Men: Great video D. I thought I was the only person who didn’t like the lace bow showing and was tucking them under the insoles. Those pebbles are pretty nice, you should do a look book on them jawns..

Adam F. Hanif: Thanks man I'm 19 and still don't know that there's this kind of trick until I see this video, big thanks!

Victoria Celeste: thank you this was very helpful!

Elysian Glenn: Haha! Devan I thought this was a photo editing technique! ‍♀️ But tbh, as I hate tying my shoes I will do this. Coincidentally, I just got a shoe horn
