Hi guys today, i'm a little bit excited because i've got some new things to show you um some new models that we've got coming out and also i pinched the desk off richard wait wait. So i've got a new flexi spot desk. I'Ve had to fight richard for this one, so a massive shout out to flexispot for the desk because they did send me this for free. So i'd like to say a big thank you and i will tell you guys lots more about this desk at the end of the video, but it's great because you can decide on the height all right yeah. I feel good so perfect for working when you stood or seated, and i wanted it in black so that if i used it for cake, vickery and stuff, you wouldn't see all the marks and things. But richard really wanted it in white because he wanted to put it in his office because he likes to stand up when he's working. But what i'm going to show you guys is these new molds that we've got so i'm very excited so come in close. So i can show you a little bit more about these here. Richard wait. If you go above, don't need to zoom the camera in an outlook, because i can do it for you on the table, the sound effect. The sound effect was a little bit, so i've just done the long, hair ones. First guys and like say this is a sneak peek. There won't be an orange when you guys get them. This is long. Curly, hair, this one's the long straight hair on this one's. The long weaver hair and then we also have like plaits and braids, and this is like little buns - twists different kind of accessories. This is like the end of like a plot, for example, so i'm not going to show you all of them today and they will be in white when the proper ones come. So i've designed all these had them sent off made into molds. So we should have these ready for cake international, hopefully, fingers crossed, but just close wait and i really wanted to show you i was just so excited. I wanted to show you them, but also i thought we'd show you how one works. So we've made um some little heads and bodies ready that we can put some hair on and anybody that's wondering this is the original face, mold that i have the one with eyes, which i think i named abby and the body, because you all asked why there Wasn'T a body to match abby i made a body mold for her. So that's what this is on here and that will also fingers crossed be available for cake international in november, but like say, i'm so excited i wanted to show you guys it now. I think i want to sit down for this okay, so, let's start with the straight one. So i'm just going to show you one today i'll show you the others in some other videos that i'll start making as well and i'm actually going to try and use fondant in this one. So often for my models, i use modelling paste, but for this one guys, i'm actually going to use some fondant because it's the color i want - and i haven't - got any orange modelling paste in it's still the same brand so and it's a fairly firm fondant. So i think we can get away with this for the hair. I wouldn't use it for like the heads and the bodies, if you don't want to mark your desk, you can always put a mat down. To be honest, i think it's not like it would mark. If i scratched it a lot, but it doesn't seem too bad for cutting onto okay, so we're going to need this, so it's nice and soft, i'm also going to do actually is put some cornflour into this mold. So it doesn't stick, so you can dust it in like a little dusting pad like that or if you get too much in just tap it. The other option is, if it kind of lies everywhere, like it doesn't mind in patches, you can rub a big fluffy brush through it, really working it into all the cracks and also it'll rub out. So all the excess is the access excess access is getting in somewhere. Isn'T it that one's a bit trickier to get the cornflour in that thinner one? So you see, we've got one big piece of hair here and that'll go around the bulk of our head. Now, if your head's a bit smaller than mine, you can cut a little bit off either side. If it's wider, then we can use the additional bits on the front to add to it, and i just realized guys that orange couldn't be the worst color to show you in an orange mold, because you're not gon na see it very well. Are you, okay, so and i'll bring out more videos for this? So when the moulds come out i'll bring you out proper video, seeing exactly what quantities of paste and things fit into all these different bits of the mold? So i want a piece roughly it's easier to get your piece roughly, that size and shape just roughly before putting it in the mold, so just flat a little bit still a bit of thickness on there, and then we can roll into the mold. Now, if you've got too much, don't worry, we can trim it off, so we can trim. So i'm just trimming a bit off first and then what i'll do is i'll re press it into that? It is definitely easier with modelling paste than it is the fondant. Without a doubt like say, i ran out and you could probably hear my chair squeaking sorry guys or moving around okay. So once your happy is in and it's pulled to the edges, you can pull it out simply by turning it over and bending it together out. So it should just come out: okay and that's our main sort of piece of hair. Then we've got our additional pieces as well. So let's just pop that to one side. So this piece here is a fringe piece. Now she may or may not want that piece, and this is also kind of a side fringe. Is it called fringe now? Is it called bangs, i'm not sure, and then we've got some other pieces here. So in fact, actually, let's put the main piece on and then we'll see what other pieces we want to give her. So, let's bring her into shop, so she's already got a fairly rounded head. Often you'll find that when you're making the heads they're quite flat, the back so this one was made for using my abbey mold and when it was in the mould. I pushed a polystyrene ball in here and i pulled the paste around the polystyrene ball, leaving it nice and rounded for me to put the hair on so this hair goes around the back of the head. Now, if you don't want the hair as long, you can bring it higher up and we can trim some off the top or, alternatively, you can trim some off the bottom as well. Hopefully you guys can see that try not to stick it on straight away. So on the back and it will go on like so actually if i got any little scissors, okay, so from the back, you can see she's gon na have a hairpin on here. So obviously, if you want it shorter, you can lift it higher up and we can trim some off the top, but you don't want it too low down. Otherwise, you will have a bald patch, so it has to come fairly high up high enough that it comes over and meets in the middle like this, i should have put it on something heavier so that it didn't move around so much. Let me try putting her on here then she might not want a little turn the table and then she might not move around quite so much and obviously, once we start to stick this in place, it will be easier for you guys to see as well. So if we want it long like that, if we want it shorter, we bring it further up and we would trim some of this top bit here. So what i'm gon na do is put some water on the back of the hair and what you find is. This is a bit softer than what it normally would be, because i've used fondant. If you want to use modelling paste, it is going to give you a firmer base, you're not going to push the hairlines out of it as easily, whereas when it's soft like this, it's easier to accidentally squash it so i'm just using water, you can use edible Glue, i haven't gone quite all the way to the bottom, and now i'm going to turn this around and stick it on the back of her head, try and make sure it's even so. It comes to the same, the same distance off to the front, so i've around where her ears would be. I haven't given this one here, so she hasn't got ears just gon na nip it up at the top. Can you see just there and then you'll see she's got this extra bit here at the back, so we will need to just pinch that together and then we're going to trim that off now, if you've got some little nail scissors, the nail scissors are ideal. I actually haven't got any nails to do so, we're using big scissors today. Okay, we're just going to trim that off and she will get her parting wherever you put the cut you might find because of the weight of the hair that it wants to pull down a little bit. If that is the case, so mine's wanting to slip a little bit just slip a little bit of water just into the back of the bottom of her hair, just down here and press that onto the body and of course your body doesn't have to be naked. Like my body is okay, and if what you've pressed you've accidentally sort of pushed out some of the hair lines, don't worry it's fine! You can just put a couple back in with your modeling tool. If you need to like say this is very soft, this one. So it has kind of squashed a little bit next time for the next video guys. I will definitely use modeling paste. Okay, so from the back it looks really nice from the side. We can see that she needs more, adding to bring this now further to the front of her face. So if you're using a smaller head or a smaller head mold, what you'll find is this one is going to come further round, but the mould itself is designed. So you can now use extra bits to fill in all these front pieces. So our next piece is this one here and we're going to roll some paste. I think i'm not going to need quite as much as that and we're going to put it in here and guys. I am going to make a longer more detailed video for all the different hair molds that we're bringing out if it sticks to you. Instead of mold just put some corn flour on your fingers, okay and i need to push it. It'S still sticking to me. I need to push it right into the point of the hair down there. You can always trim bits off if you can't get it to a nice point and then we turn it over to pop this out. It should come out there fairly easily okay and that's ideal to use for one of these front side pieces on here. Okay, so let's get some water on this. If you find the pieces a little bit soft, let them firm up a bit first before you stick them on so water. On the back of that, and then i'm going to put this onto here - and it might be that you know you want a center part, you know you want a side parting, okay, so we're going to press that onto there and then it's kind of hung down This way, so you can leave it hanging like that or if you want you can bring it so it kind of goes and overlaps. You see like that with the existing piece of hair, we'll do the same on the other side, if it's easier, you can put water on the head rather than on the back of the hair, just neaten it up at the top bit there carrying on that little Party, okay, so it's starting to fill in much more now near the front of the face. So now we've got like thinner and smaller ones that you can also use, and again it depends on what you want her hair to look like to how many of these pieces you'll need to use or might want to use. So, let's go for this little one here, we'll roll a little carrot piece shaped piece into that again: we'll try and pop that out. Okay - and this could go again continuing on to here - so i'm not going to stick this on, because i want to show you a couple of different things we could do, but i'm going to hold it on in place first, so i've pressed it lightly just on There and then we can either have this bigger piece here or we can put on a fringe and, like i said you can add as many of these bits and pieces as you want to as well. So let's say we were going to give her like a big fringe. I apologize if i'm calling these hair pieces the wrong things, because it's a long time since i've had a fringe and i'd like to say i don't even know if it's still called a fringe. Okay, so we're pushing the paste into there, let's pop it out of the mold again, so just bend in your mold should release it. Okay. So let's see what this looks like to the curve, but it goes to the top straight edge to the bottom. Oh, stick it on one key. In fact, i think we probably don't need that small piece. If we add this fringe, let's have a look, so the fringe is just added like that. So just press it on gently for the time being, because you know we might change it for a different style, but i just wanted you guys to see what that looked like. Okay. So that's with the fringe, and then let's see what that looks like with the other piece now as well. Okay, let's see what it looks like if we fill in this piece here instead, i'm going to stick this one on, i think so i'll pop it off. So i'm going to stick that on the front of her head. Sorry, my hands are kind of in the way of you guys seeing so if we put that on there pushing it up to meet the other bits of hair, so we don't see too much scalp between and just pressing those very edge lines up to. The top point just hold it in place: that'll hold it in that little bit firmer. So that's just along the line, that's already on it. Okay, so again gives you a different kind of look to the other one, and you could even then use that piece. If you wanted at this side just to fill that little bit in there and we could have it kind of coming forwards - oh we can bring it around there like that, which i think kind of looks nicer. And then we just press down a little bit there and of course we can do different bits and pieces with them all, but but just for a quick preview on what's to come, i wanted to just show you like a quick style using this like say when These molds come in i'm going to have more of these videos ready for you guys. I know she doesn't go down. Does she because the camera is in the same place? It'S just me and it goes down yeah, that's probably right. My crotch is probably not where she wants to be. I know you can't see my t-shirt because she's in the way, i'm sorry i'm getting on camera as well. Thanks for watching me have a little play around with the mould guys and i'm gon na tell you a little bit more about the table because, like i say a big thank you to flexispot for sending me this table, it is a fab table. I'Ve played with it a lot. Ah squashed, my legs, it doesn't squish. My legs really can't reach the woman watch it break. Oh, go! Not that i'm just playing with the table at all. I can't believe it holds my weight. So when i'm working with my knees, i can have it nice and low, i can have it seat height. If i want to sit at it and i can have it standing height when i'm doing like cakes and things that i want to be at this time. For do you want to see how hyped it goes. That'S where i start to disappear soon. It might be a little bit too high. It comes in different sizes, so i want to tell you a little bit about the desk. It does come in lots of different sizes. I think we've got the biggest desk richard size wise. I believe so. I think it's 160 by 80., but i thought it would be ideal. But if i'm not working in the kitchen, i want to work in my other room, because when i'm doing buttercream, cakes and scraping and stuff, i like to stand and it's good to have it at like a decent height. So i can adjust the height, but then also when i'm sat and doing more detailed things. Sometimes you know it is easier for me to sit down and kind of rest on the table and it's great because i can lower it down and it wipes down pretty easy, so yeah. Thank you so much foreign spot for sending me. I love it. It comes in a range of colors there's a child lock on it, so to prevent kids messing around with it or big kids. Like me, what happens when i do press that think? That'S when you have to set the memory zoe, if you read the instruction booklet, i'm sure it is very well explained who reads: instructions i'll work it out right. Okay, let's do some one. It'S got my usb port, so i can plug my phone in i'm doing it the wrong way. I know everyone laughs at my phone cover. I like it. Actually, this would be really good for um when we're doing facebook live something just when we're hooking the phone up. I can plug it straight into the computer, whereas normally we've got tons of wires going everywhere. So that's really handy. We could actually move this to where i do the facebook lives from downstairs in my little area, with all my models. So the moment it's in the office space because richard wants it for his office work, but i think that i'd like it for doing my facebook lives on so says it takes how much weight 125. So it should take some heavy wedding, cakes then yeah. How much do you weigh richard? I'M not saying gentleman never tells more than the weight i'm pushing the desk it's supposed to take, and then, let's see, did it not work yeah, it's a little bit slower with your weight. That'S just plain chickeness! You are a bit heavier than me, i'm about 100 kilos. I don't know what that is, and this feels really high. This is quite i'm now 123 centimeters up in the air, and you get my um feeling lovely. You see a little setup as well guys. So we've been filming for this. You see our office. Space is still pretty empty at the moment. We need to get more desks in for all the stuff. Just to let people know there is actually memory pre-sales, you can automatically set certain heights. We have not fathomed this but out yet, but you can preset it what should like your favorite height yeah? Yes, you can have like an automatic sitting height an automatic standing down just to make life a bit easier. You should have to keep your finger on the button like me and you do okay cool. Shall i do it for you, richard yeah, you do it so you just do it with these little buttons here, yeah! Oh, wait. I hit the wrong one. So what does that m? Do that's what you set your memory on it. So what's one and two and a person presets, oh, is this a standing and sitting one so they're the presets? I see okay, cool i'll work. It out guys i'll put a link to the desk um in the description below the video and i'll update you as well soon with that when the mods are available and if you, if you're grabbing a desk, grab one soon because there's an anniversary sale on at The moment with up to 27 off the desk and that's just the 7th to the 9th of september, you could get a nice picture like that and maybe that and then me holding the molds. Actually, this could be higher up look. This is good for, if i'm wanting to pose for a photo richard look, i can bring those more in shot for when it comes to my thought, oh see, does that work, or does that not work, and this is still recording, shall i turn this off now? Yeah, if you liked the video be sure to hit the thumbs up button and leave me a comment below you can see more of my videos by clicking the images on screen.
