My hair feels so good with professional shampoo, but i wish it wasn't so expensive. It'S actually not more expensive than drugstore brands. I may not be the best at math, but i'm pretty sure i can read a price tag. The price tag doesn't tell you anything about how much it actually costs. I feel, like the price tag, tells you everything about how much it costs does it tell you. The cheap shampoo is super watered down, so this will actually last longer than this okay touche. It does not tell me that, and does it tell you, the professional shampoo gets your hair way cleaner, so you can go longer between washes, i get it, but how could it possibly be cheaper, there's no way and if you buy in big leaders, pro shampoo is Actually, cheaper yeah those things last six months: it's like harry potter's, bottomless bag, that's one dollar and eighty cents a week less than two dollars a week. Those stupid price tags. Don'T tell you anything.

E. Nigma: This only works above a certain income. Let's say I need boots to work. I could buy a cheaper pair of boots that will last me three months, or I could buy an expensive pair of boots that would last me a year. I can buy the cheap boots right now, and I know that I will be able to buy them again in three months. To buy the expensive boots I would need to save for six months and it would take up all of my clothing budget for those six months. These boots are a necessity, I need them to work to earn money to buy boots. I also still need other clothes. I buy the cheap boots.

Cat: Soooo…. glad I listened to you. My hair is finally healthy. I use less, it cleans better and lasts longer and best of all I’m not shlepping to the store every couple of weeks to lug home more bottles. That s—t’s heavy on the bus. When I think back to the beginning of spring when I was considering cutting off my waist length hair, I’m ecstatic I found you first. Thanks Professor

Jenna Ranae: YES! I’ve seen your videos on my fyp before and everything you say is so accurate. My mom is a professional hair stylist so I was raised with professional hair products my entire life. And for those of you wanting to better your hair routine, professional hair products are an absolute must (shampoo, conditioner, leave in conditioner, etc.) Obviously there are other factors like heat and chemical treatments, but that doesn’t make purchasing professional hair products any less important.

MYHEARTISINJAPAN❤️: Chris, you are SPOT ON! I just switched back to professional grade shampoo and conditioner from super market shampoo and conditioner. My hair used to break off while I was running my hands thru it! In just two weeks, my hair is so much shinier, softer, and no longer breaking off at all. I’m currently using Paul Mitchell shampoo, conditioner, and leave in conditioner. It has changed my hair so much. Thank you! P.s…you’re right about the litres being key to getting it at a better price point!

Zoe: My $50 Kerastase conditioner lasted me six months and left my hair in amazing condition. When I would buy drugstore, I would need to buy like once a month and my hair was broken and damaged.

Michael Scott paper company: Yeah i will say a big bottle of professional shampoo will last me several months while a drugstore liter will last me one or two months I just wish it wasn’t such a big upfront cost but I get it haha

Julie Bee: True! My Kérastase chronologiste shampoo last me months, and not the big bottle! It takes so little and my hair is amazing. And the smell, cheap shampoo can't get that good. My second favorite is Christophe Robin prickly pear

Brlla Lee: It feels so funny taking advice on hair from a bald man but he’s obviously quite experienced in his field.

Iniya Raj: Yeah that's definitely not true in my country . The loreal professional range shampoo 300 ml which costs 690 rupees lasts me 3 months but their other shampoos 1 litre which costs me 550 rupees (with offer) lasts me 7 -8 months , so all in all the normal shampoo is cost effective .

joahnn B.: 200ml of professional shampoo has lasted over 7 months now! 1L would last me forever

smoothsyrup: Ive been looking for something to help my hair (oily roots, lots of strands coming out, and dry ends)…will try a shampoo swap and hope for best!!!

Annie Lynn: Truth!! My $20 bottle last twice as long as my $12 bottle, AND my hair looks better! THAT’S math!

onix moon: A bit random but my hair actually feels waaaaay better now I've abandoned shampoo, I've got naturally dry hagrid hair and since I've abandoned shampoo in replacement of just lathering and scrubbing my hair with conditioner and started using my wide tooth comb instead of a brush I've found my hair to be more manageable ... any clue why or recommendations on how to improve as most shampoos just turn me into a fuzzy Ewok Please go easy on me in the comments I'm only 19 and was raised by my dad I'm clueless

ella iz cool: it’s probably just my hair type and the products she’d buy, but i grew up with a hairdresser mother and she would always buy professional shampoo, but i hated it!! my hair never felt clean, it always felt like there was a weird residue on my hair (yes i’d occasionally use clarifying shampoos). even the ones that i actually liked and worked well for me, would start making my hair weird again and stop working after a couple weeks. i use drugstore shampoo now and my hair feels so much cleaner and healthier. i’ve tired so many brands, both professional and drugstore, and honestly, most suck for my hair! herbal essences works best for me and makes my hair feel clean and soft :p i avoid aussie at all costs, though, as it eventually started breaking off my hair!

Ana Sanchez: Love you thanks to all your tips my hair is now better!

Rebecca Shields: Yea this feels like bullshit. I tried professional shampoo for a year or two to see if there was any difference and nope, hair always felt exactly the same. Didn’t last any longer or get the hair any cleaner or change my hair in any way. I guess maybe if you have color dyed or really damaged hair it could make a difference but for me it made zero difference. I would just love to see the double blind randomized controlled trial with a decent sample size that actually shows an objective difference in hair or how clean it is.

Dusty Bun 🍞: Hey real quick question. Is Tea tree shampoo and conditioner classified as professional? Because it’s really expensive.

N. Ross: Walmart shampoo is fine. Just read the ingredients. There are brands that are great, cheap, and work amazingly! This is stylist propaganda

SRC: I must be the 1%. I use l'oreal and my hair looks perfect when I air dry

Gia Energia: Damage on the hair and looking cheap every time you look in the mirror is way too expensive than any label.

jennyabcd123: I don’t find professional shampoo to clean my hair better at all nor does it last longer for me. I don’t Know what im doing wrong here, but I can really see and feel the difference that’s why I’m not going back to drugstore products. I can actually wash my hair more and it doesn’t dry it out.

Rachel P.: Is shea moisture okay? I’ve switched to that I’m noticing a good difference in my hair.

Bengale Floki & Somali Odin: I know I am doing this with my aloe Vera shampoo and conditioner in 1liter bottles and I always buy when they have special offers. Like everything is - 15%

Charlotte Tran: Hmm didn't work for me. I still have to use massive amouts regardless because my hair isd thick and long. I cannot afford the pro one -.-

Allyndra Roybal: By switching to the higher quality and being able to go longer between washes would I be able to eliminate dry shampoo or would I keep it and do a clarifying shampoo bimonthly?

__Denikah__: What's brand is best if you get dandruff?

tam po: Does your store ever have sales?

Bella: Talking about shampooing hair, all of you out there don’t shampoo everyday but work out everyday. You’re supposed to wash your hair and scalp after a workout. If you’re doing “working out” properly and not just there for the pictures.

Juliana Avila: 6 MONTHS! I have three people using my drugstore Maui moisture. That bitch lasted me more then 6 months and we all wash pretty regularly. So idk man seems like baloney to me

Villager #9: What are the pro shampoos...can you give examples..for guys

TrueblueMeg: I don’t get this. I wash 1-2x/week with a sulfate free brand (currently shea moisture). A bottle lasts me like 8-9 months….

Friend Squad: maybe good for people who don’t wash their hair often but i wash mine almost everyday bc of swim sooooo ima just stick to the cheap one unless u can help me

Ashton Murdock: Yay thank you

Stephanie: 3 months with my cantu conditioner, it’s so thick.

Incog Nito: Can you think of a way to actually prove this ? Dehydrate the water out or something. Can't just take you at your word when you're selling something.

Laura M: If you go to TJ Maxx or Marshalls it's even cheaper

Trader Joe’s: Actually Harry Potter didn’t have a bottomless bag, the bag they talk about I. The books belonged to hermione

Anu Siva: I love ur wig!

megamaze: Pft, a big bottle lasts me a year lol y’all wash your hair too much.

Ambrosia: Thoughts on Ouidad or Joico?

Marianne Gucciardi: What wig is that?!

Meow Zah: What wig is that tho?!
