Hi guys in today's video I want to show you my updated hair care routine and all the products and tools that I am using you guys. Why do I look so tanned? I'M not sure why I look so tanned. I'M not complaining. It'S probably because I have one this bright blue shirt, but if you guys well, obviously you can tell. I just recently cut my hair and I cut off quite a bit of length from it because I just felt like it was still growing in unevenly and you guys know I'm all about healthy hair. I don't care if I have to go bald. I will put on the Hat, not a wig, because it's too hot, but I just I run behind my home. I'D rather have my hair healthy, then long and just gross. So I recently cut my hair, but the products that I've been using are pretty much the same at I've been using for the past couple of years. I have started using a new vitamin, so I'm gon na share all that with you guys. If you would like to see how I'm taking care of my hair and my current hair Karazhan, please keep watching. Ok. So, like I said, I cut my hair and I'm loving it. One thing I love about getting a fresh haircut is that your hair is just full all the way down to the ends, and it just feels so thick and healthy, and I absolutely love it. I also should know that I do get a relaxer. I get one about every 4 or 5 months, or so I do this so that I'm not over processing my hair, but I like the ease of being able to manage my hair when it is relaxed. So that is why I do relaxed it and that's totally a personal preference, I'm not here to say getting a relaxer is better than being natural. I actually do why did like the way my hair felt a lot better when I was natural, but it's just so hot and humid in Georgia and to me having a relaxer, simplifies my routine and tamas money. So when it comes down to the health of your hair, sometimes it has take a back seat and that's just me being honest, so I'm gon na share with you guys the part of that I use when I am washing my hair and to care for my Hair during the month, I do wash my hair every two weeks. I do that to cut down on the amount of heat that I'm using. I find that if I were to wash my hair in flatiron every week, that's using a lot a lot of heat. So I wash my hair every other week, the first week I will put curls in it like it is in today well kind of like waves and a little bit of bump, and I wear it like this the second week, if it gets a little too dirty Or heavy I would just start wearing it in a ponytail and under a hat, but I'd like to go at least two weeks before I do wash it. So. The shampoo that I have been using really for the past six months is my red. Can all soft? I do have a couple of different shampoos that I use depending on what my hair needs, but at this present time this is what I have been using and I love it and you guys when I recently went and got my relaxer. I asked my stylist: why? No, I asked her how much shampoo you should be using to cleanse your hair, because when I plan my hair I feel like I need so much shampoo to get a good lather, because I'm about you guys what I love a good lather and she was saying You know the first time you wash your hair, I wash my hair two times when I am cleansing it in the shower, but the first time you're washing it. Your hair still has a lot of builds up, the dirt and oil on it. So you're not gon na get a lot of Ladd there. So I don't know if this is something that you guys have noticed, but I definitely do notice that my first shampoo, I don't get a lot of leather and I feel like my hair - is not getting clean, but it is in fact getting clean if, by that. Second, shampoo: you have a good thick lather. That means that you have gotten all the oils and dirt out of your hair. So I just wanted to note that this is the red kunal soft shampoo, for softness for dry and brittle hair. It also has protein in it. I believe it is paraben free they like free and all that good stuff. I get this from Ulta, they have their leader sales every now again and you can get it for a good price. I love this shampoo and recently I stopped doing a regular conditioner because I like deep conditioner in my hair, so I want to show you the two deep conditioners that I do use and when I'm not doing a deep conditioner like let's say I don't have time. I would just use the red kunal soft conditioner, so the first is something that I recently discovered well rediscover it and remember it what I loved it so much - and this is the joy Co capac intense hydrator - for dry damaged hair. This is like a speed, deep conditioner. I find that when I use this it makes my hair so deeply conditioned and hydrated that by week two I'm feeling like I need to wash my hair. So I love this because you only have to leave it in your hair for 3 to 5 minutes. So let's say you don't have your time to do your typical 3 hour hair routine, because that's about what it takes me from shampooing to Flatiron. So if I know I don't have an hour to let a deep conditioner sit on my hair, I'm going to use this because I get the same results plus a little more added moisture, but in a quicker process. So you can't beat that I purchased this from Ulta, my next deep conditioner, that I love is the Shea Moisture mongongo and hemp seed oil, high porosity, moisture, correct mask and this is for dry damaged, color treated, hair, all hair types now. Another tip is that all the products that I use for my hair are pretty much for dry, damaged, hair, and I do that to be preventative. I figured even if my hair isn't dry or damaged, but sometimes it is that's. Gon na give me extra, nourishment and moisture and products for dry damaged hair, so that's just a little tip about how I get the best out of the products that I'm using. So that's my deep conditioner when I want to let it sit on my hair for an hour, love that and then, when I get out of the shower - and I finish all that and I've washed the conditioner out. I will put in my redkin anti snap. Now. I'Ve been using this for probably maybe a year and a half, maybe even two, you and I can't exactly say whether this is like amazing or not. I think it's one of those products where it's preventative in nature, but like because it's keeping your hair from breaking you don't really notice if it's working or not, but I'm not gon na, stop using it, because this is like a really highly rated product that a Lot of people love and so yeah, it's called red Canton, extreme anti snap and it's an anti snap anti breakage leave-in conditioner. So I will put about two pumps of this into my hands and distribute it into the areas where I'm more prone to breakage. So that's gon na be around the perimeter of my hairline, in my the back of my crown and on the ends of my hair, and I will just leave this in my hair until it's done drying and then like before I blow dry, my hair, I use The Sebastian trilliant, which is my heat, protectant and shine spray. I love this. It smells like cantaloupe, it just smells so good. So I use this as my heat protectant and look how much I've used. So I mean it's gon na new one of those, but I spray, I shake it first and then spray about two to three pumps all over my head, and that gives me the softness and shine that I really need before I go in to blow drying my Blow dryer, it was a little too heavy, so I didn't bring it out here, but I will put a picture in right here and I will of course put the name in the description box. That blow-dryer is a one before I got that blow-dryer. It would take me probably 30 minutes to blow-dry my hair. That is like the rolls-royce of blow dryers. It is a very expensive blow dryer, but I promise you it works so well. I am interested in trying the greyish blow-dryer that a lot of salon professionals used for african-american hair, so I might get that in a little bit, but definitely my babble is dryer works very, very well, and I love it the flat irons that I use this is The Flatiron I use for my hair in general, this is the babble, is titanium Pro two inch flat iron and I use this just to straighten my hair, create curls and flips and waves. And then, if it's nearing relaxer time and I have a lot of new growth, I will use my mini babbles. Pro titanium, like, I guess, half an inch iron for my edges, because this is a lot easier to grab the hair around my perimeter versus this, because it's just so thick. So I love these two flat irons and you can get both of them from o-town. I want to share with you guys some of the tools that I use for brushes. I use this Olivia Garden ceramic and ion paddle brush. It is called the XL pro L. It also has this little pic at the bottom, which you can use Dulli as like a comb to make parts in your hair. I love this paddle brush. It'S amazing quality. It was about 20 bucks, but I've had it for probably two years, maybe even two and a half, but I will say when I'm blow-drying my hair, I don't press the blow-dryer directly into the brush, I'm more so just angle. It and direct the heat towards the brush, and that keeps your bristles from getting melted, so that is a tip and when I am flat ironing my hair, I use this carbon comb. I picked this up from Sally's Beauty, Supply Store, probably like five years ago and or maybe even more - and this is the comb air carbon comb. You can pick this up at Sally's Beauty. Supply Store, it's basically just a heat resistant comb. So when I'm gliding my hair in general, I use the comb chase method where, if I'm flat ironing this piece of my hair, I'll put the comb right here and the flat iron goes on top of it. That way, as I'm moving down my hair shaft, all my hair is going in the same direction and you get a lot smoother results from using that method. So those are the tools that I use. I also have a couple of styling products. If I am going to be doing tight curls, which I'm not going to do one, my hair is this length because it would be so short, but if I'm doing a tight, curl style, I will use my Sebastian shaper. This is the best hairspray ever because it's flexible, you don't get that flake. You can come in and brush it out, but it still have a great hold. This is what stylus used. It'S amazing. This has like a Holy Grail following you can pick this up from Sally's, I believe grocery stores I got mine from Ulta and then sometimes like today. My hair feels kind of dry. I'M not sure what really goes on. Sometimes my hair feels extra hydrated after I Flatiron it, and sometimes it feels really dry. So if it's feeling really dry, I will put this in my hair. This is the Bed Head, after-party, smoothing cream for silky shiny, healthy, looking hair. I don't use it for smoothing or shine, but it does add some moisture to my hair. So I will just add this from like halfway down my shaft to the ends. If my hair is feeling a little dry and brittle because yeah I went, I think when I was getting a haircut once they use this on my hair, and I really liked it and it smells really good. So I love that, and those are pretty much all the products that I use for my hair. I only like moisturizer I will use in my hair is going to be this. There is a leave-in conditioner that I will use in my hair if I'm going to wash it and not strain it, and I will put a picture right here. It is the shea moisture I want to say is the jamaican, castor oil, leave-in conditioner, and that's just something that I will use to help smooth and conditioned and hydrate my hair. I will also use that one week to when I'm nearing wash day and I'm gon na put my hand to a sleek ponytail I'll put that on my edges and brush them back. It just helps give me a kind of a hold and moisture, and it just it helps so those are the products that I do use if you guys have any comments or questions feel free to leave them below. I think there's something that I missed and I don't think so, but Oh my vitamins. So if you watch my channel pretty regularly, you know that I went to the doctor maybe six months ago and I had a vitamin D deficiency. I probably still have it because, since I've not been working, I don't remember to take my vitamins cuz. I used to take them at work, so I do take a vitamin D supplement sometimes, and that is supposed to help with heart, health, joint health and hair as well. So I think, if I start using that we're taking that consistently, I will see an overall change in my hair, but it's just. I need to find my pills and bring them upstairs that's honey to do but yeah. You guys always asked with hair care reviews, and I always say it's gon na be so boring, because my routine are very rarely changes, but you guys asked for it, so I will continue to do them. If you have any comments or questions feel free to leave them down below, and I will see you in the next video bye
