My Wash Day Routine That Grew My Hair Out After Protective Style | 4 Type Natural Hair

For a moment s hey everyone and welcome back to my channel, so this video is going to be my wash day routine after removing my protective style that I had in for three months. So, if you're interested in this video, then please stay tuned. So I just finished detangling my hair, and this is how much shed hair I got from detangling, my hair. So after I detangled each section, I just went ahead and braided The Roots, so I went about a quarter of a way down and then I just left my ends out. So, first I'm going to start off with my pre-poo treatment, so the pre-poo treatment that I have is a DIY that I've done in um. One of my previous videos I'll leave a link to this DIY down in the description box. So I'm just going to go ahead and add some of my henna rosemary oil to the DIY um. I had the DIY in the freezer, so it was a bit cold. I let it thaw out in the refrigerator the night before so now, I'm just going to apply it all over my hair from Roots to ends and then I'm just gon na. Let it sit for about 30 minutes before I go ahead and rinse it out and follow up with my shampoo. So I like to wash my hair while it's in these braided sections, because it helps to prevent my hair from getting tangled during the wash day process, because I don't know about you guys, but when I detangle my hair, it's a lot of work. So I don't like to do it again and again and again so by me, just braiding my sections braiding the roots of each section. It just really helps to prevent my hair from getting matted or Tangled, while I'm shampooing and conditioning my hair, and it saves a lot of time also. It helps me to better cleanse my scalp this way as well. So, after about 30 minutes, I'm gon na go ahead and rinse out the DIY from my hair and then I'm gon na go ahead and start my shampoo process. So I already washed my already shampooed my hair twice. So this would be the third time that I was shampooing, my hair, the shampoo that I'm using was a shampoo that I used to um sell on our website, but I no longer do so just in case somebody asks about the shampoo so after rinsing out this Shampoo for my hair, I'm gon na go ahead and apply the Crayola Lily, cucumber, mint, hydrating and restorative conditioner. I'M just going to apply this all over my hair from Roots to ends and then I'm just gon na go ahead and apply a plastic bag over my hair and then I'm gon na wrap a towel over my hair to kind of trap in the heat you Can use a hooded blow, dryer um, I didn't feel like sitting under the hooded blow dryer. I had some stuff to do around the house, so I just went ahead and just did it this way. So I'm just gon na allow this to sit for about. I let it sit for about an hour, it's supposed to be more like 45 minutes, but that's fine all right! So after about an hour, I'm just gon na go ahead and rinse out the conditioner and then from there I'm gon na go into my moisturizing routine foreign ER. Then I'm going to go in with the creola Lily, blueberry, Frank incense growth and strengthening hair Mist. I'M going to be applying this all over my hair and then from there I'm going to be applying a generous amount of the Creole Lily, vanilla, Patchouli, leave-in, moisturizing cream. So after I finish applying the spray, as well as the leave-in to my hair, I'm just going to go ahead and braid my hair all the way down to the ends, I'm going to be doing a braid out. I just want to give my hair a break from heat as well as protective styling. So after I finish braiding my hair, I'm just going to apply the Creole Lily, henna rosemary hair oil, and I'm just going to apply this directly onto my scalp and then I'm just going to give myself a light, massage scalp, massage and then from there. I'M just going to allow my hair to air dry and then I'll be back to show you guys the results. So it's been like two days and my hair has completely dried, and now I'm just gon na go ahead and unravel my braids and before I do, I'm just going to be applying some of the Creole Lily kashia mango, stimulating hair butter. Before I unravel my braids to kind of help reduce frizziness foreign, thank you so after I finish unraveling my hair, I didn't fluff out my hair too much because I know over time, it'll just get bigger, but yeah. So this is how my braid out came out. Like I said, I'm giving my hair some time to relax from protective styling as well as heat, so yeah.
