Which One Works Best On My 4C Hair? Melanin Hair Care Vs. Pattern Beauty

Hey guys welcome and welcome back to my channel, it's me Farren and, as you can tell by the title of this video, I'm doing another braid out back and also from the title. You know exactly what to brands I'm going to be using. So if that is something that you are interested in saying, then of course, just stay tuned fred has been washed deep, conditioned and detangled and we are all set. I am starting off with pattern Beauty on my right, I'm going in with the leave-in conditioner, the styling cream and the jojoba hair serum, doing the lco method, of course. So, if you're familiar with my channel, I really like the pattern really leave-in conditioner. It actually used to be one of my favorites, but I really don't know why it's pretty lightweight, but it doesn't really have enough slip for me to detangle, but I like it. I don't have any complaints. You know each of the products that I'm using, though, is $ 25 to leave in the styling cream and the hair serve 25 dollars, which, in my opinion, is a bit steep, but they are supposed to be salon quality. So I mean, if you can afford it and you can spend it and go for it. My hair really likes it, even though I don't really think I'm low porosity, I'm more so like medium, but as far as these products, I don't know it's. You know. Moving up the rankings lights are 5 to 5. I would definitely suggest the pattern beauty products for people who, like lighter weight products. If you don't really care for heavier butters and creams, then pattern Beauty is definitely the way to go so now that this site is completely done, it's on to melanin, hair care, so of course, for the melanin hair care side. I am going in with a multi used softening leave-in conditioner, the twist elongating style cream and the pure oil blend. So with the melanin hair care, you get more bang for your book, and by that I mean the leave-in conditioner, which is 16. Ounces is only eighteen. Ninety-Nine which I can't remember how many Ounces the pattern Beauty is, but it's twenty-five dollars and I'm sure it's not sixteen ounces, the style cream is only 16.99 and you get more. You get 16 fluid ounces, whereas the pattern styling cream is about 15 and then the pure love blend. You get the 8 ounce container for $ 17.99. So if you go to melanin hair care route, you are going to save a little coin. That'S all I'm trying to tell you and there's no silicone sulfates parabens phthalates, Petroleum's formaldehyde mineral oils. Like there's. None of that these products are almost it's clean as clean can be. You can definitely read most of the ingredients where I believe the leave-in conditioner from pattern. May contains the look as far as the styling cream, so the melanin hair care is way thicker. I have to put this into my palm and literally like warm the products up and order for them to melt onto my hair, but my hair absolutely loves it. It like soaked suits right up, but you do have to kind of not emulsify, but it really helps with application if you just warm it up in your hands before applying it to your hair. That'S just my personal preference. It'S the next day and should be completely honest. I know my hair isn't 100 % dry, but I'm growing impatient. So I'm gon na go in with my hahaha oil. I'M not gon na use an oil from either collection and we don't get this thing started. It'S really funny because the melanin hair care side feels drier than the pattern side, and I don't know where that is because I did this side first, I don't know it's super weird, whatever um also, I wanted to talk to you guys. Oh, while I took my hair down, this is so funny to me, but you know I've changed locations. You know I filmed various locations, especially in the last couple of months, but my cousin has been staying with me for the last month or so just you know like life. I think we both lived we're both single women and we were both living alone and her lease was coming to an end and so was mine and at first like I was gon na move back home with my mom, because you know everything that's going on and I was just like why I continued to pay rent. We don't even know like what's going on, but then like we talked about it and I live in unto the two bath apartment and long story short. She moved in with me and she also has a YouTube channel, a shout-out to candidly Jasmine. I will be sure to link her down below but um. I feel like me and her should like do something like together on this channel and I feel like y'all. Don'T really know me so my best friend called me - and I was definitely in the middle of talking to you guys and also my microphone wasn't turned on. So this is what the pattern side is looking like. The definition is like out of this world and my hair is so soft, but back to what I was saying um I feel like you guys. Don'T really know me. I just kind of popped up out of nowhere on YouTube and I just started doing videos. I will say that the pattern side has a slightly more of a shine to it, but other than that, like both sides, feel amazing. My hair is super soft.
