Hello guys today we are going to be talking all about drugstore hair care. I am super excited because i am here to tell you guys that, although some of my favorite hair care products are from sephora, you do not need to spend hundreds of dollars to have healthy hair. I also just want to take a second to show you guys. This really really cute hairstyle that i did. I have a tutorial up on this and you can't really see it from the front that well, but it is just so cute um and i will link my tutorial below so today. I am going to tell you guys my top 10 favorite hair care products from the drugstore that i have tried from 10 to 1.. Let us begin number 10 on my list of my favorite drugstore hair care products. This is the not your mother's naturals, matcha, green tea and wild apple blossom, hair mask this is a silicone free, hair mask it doesn't have sulfates, it doesn't have parabens dyes and even though it is a silicone free, hair mask this hair mask leaves my hair feeling, Like i just used a hair mask with silicones in it, it makes my hair shiny, detangled smooth. It gets rid of frizz, and even though i actually love silicones when i am taking a break from silicones like when i'm using a clarifying shampoo or something like that, then i will usually just want to go in with a silicone. Free. Well, sometimes want to go in with a silicone, free, conditioner or hair mask of some sort, and this one is amazing for that situation. Also, i really like to use this before i shampoo as like a pre shampoo treatment, so i'll just get my hair wet. I will put this all over my hair leave it in for 10 minutes, rinse it out, and then shampoo and use conditioner, and my hair feels super smooth and detangled after i'm going to touch on one of the ingredients in this hair mask which is glycerin and That is an amazing ingredient to have in your hair care products. It'S in a few products on this list and basically it is a humectant. So it draws moisture from the air to help keep your hair, hydrated and healthy. This hair mask is 8.99 all right. So moving on, we are now on number nine and for number nine. I have the eva nyc main magic 10 in one primer. I absolutely love this. It is almost identical to the amica's wizard primer, which is amazing and one of my favorite heat protectants, to use in my hair. It makes my hair feel so smooth and shiny and detangled. I don't know if you're going for a sleek look. This is definitely what you want to use before you use heat. There is one downside to it, though this product can create a lot of silicone buildup. So if you are someone who does not like to use sulfates on your hair, then i probably would not recommend this. Also. It has quite a few perfumey ingredients. If you don't mind using sulfates on your hair, then i think that this would be an amazing heat. Protectant to use and the best drugstore amica wizard primer dupe the number eight. I actually think that maybe this should be like further up on the list, because this is just i've been using this for years. It'S amazing. This is the tresemme thermal creations, heat tamer, leave-in spray. This heat protectant is only 6.99 and it has so many beneficial ingredients in it for your hair. So let's just go over a few of them. First of all, it has ami dimethicone and my dimethicone, which is a silicone that makes your hair detangled, shiny and smooth. Just like all silicones do. It also, of course, protects your hair from heat damage, damage from brushing, and everything like that that i always mention it. Rinses out easily, and it doesn't contribute to a lot of buildup. Also, according to this blog post that i read by lab, muffin beauty, science, i will link it below. It is a silicone that binds to damaged hair. So if you have damaged hair, if any part of your hair is damaged, this heat protectant is going to be amazing. For you, you guys know, i'm not a scientist you're, not a scientist. I do not um pretend to sit here and know like every single ingredient. On this list, but i will just like cover a few more ingredients, so there is an ingredient called panthenol in this, which is a byproduct of vitamin b5. It can help to strengthen your hair, retain moisture, improve the texture of damaged hair um. So this is a great ingredient to have in a hair care product. I believe, there's also a benzophenone 4, which is going to protect your hair from the sun. Basically, this has glycerin in it as well, which, as i mentioned before, is a really great ingredient to have in a hair care product. I also love the scent. It'S really subtle. It'S fresh, it's not overpowering um and it kind of gives your hair that you just washed your hair scent. It also has lactic acid, which can help to maintain the ph balance of your hair and scalp, which is a really important quality to have in a hair care product. So the next favorite hair care product from the drugstore. This is number seven. This is l'oreal's ever pure color care system, shampoo and conditioner. I have tried the glossing, shampoo and conditioner. I'Ve also tried the moisture, shampoo and conditioner. I believe it's called and in my humble opinion this is the best kerastase slash pureology dupe from the drugstore. So i say karistos because caristas is owned by l'oreal. Obviously l'oreal and i have just noticed some parallels in their products. Are they identical? No, but there's definitely some similarities in the consistency and the way that my hair feels afterwards. The shampoos from the ever pure line are very easy to emulsify. They cleanse my hair very easily they're lightweight, yet they work effectively and then also just like the really sleek and shiny feeling. Now the reason why i say that these shampoos and conditioners from ever pure line are really good. Pureology dupes is because the ever pure line, like the pureology products, are all safe for or is safe for, color treated, hair, um they're actually intended for color treated hair. They are sulfate free. They contain ammo dimethicone, which i prefer to have in my shampoos, um, because if i'm using a shampoo that does not have silicones, then my hair can get super knotted after shampooing and it honestly just creates more problems for me using a shampoo without silicones um. Also, as it says, on the bottle, it is ph balanced, it intensifies shine, provides anti-fade, i don't know it, helps your hair color to not fade as fast, and it provides uv protection. Now i just want to briefly talk about the conditioner. I feel like conditioners, serums and hair masks are the hardest things for me to find at the drugstore that are really good. Quality shampoos are pretty easy conditioners, not so much, but this is one of the best drugstore conditioners that i have ever tried and honestly pretty much. Every single l'oreal conditioner, because they're all drugstore, even the elvive line and obviously the ever pure line, the conditioners from both of those lines, are amazing, inexpensive and i think, if you are looking for a carista stoop or a pureology dupe, then look no further. Now for number six on the list, this is definitely gon na be controversial. This is very controversial. Um i feel like anytime. I mention clarifying shampoo any time i mention sulfates people become afraid sort of, but have no fear. Sulfates are not always bad all right. So this is suave's daily, clarifying shampoo. This is going to replace my neutrogena anti-residue shampoo, which they for some odd reason discontinued. I have no idea why they would do that, but they did so now. I'M using suave's daily clarifying shampoo. The main ingredient in this shampoo is sodium c1213 pareth sulfate. It basically is a sulfate and it will remove any and all buildup that you have on your hair um. It is a simple shampoo. It is super inexpensive. There are no frills here with the shampoo i'm not going to be mentioning any sort of like rosemary oil, extract mint extract, nothing literally. The function of this shampoo is just to remove buildup, that's what it does um. This is by no means something that i would use on like a regular basis, even though the name of it is daily clarifying shampoo under no circumstances would i use this every day. This is something i use like when i have a lot of heavy heavy heavy silicone buildup. Also, i believe this shampoo is actually just 2.99, considering the fact that this shampoo, like it will definitely last you a long time. I think that this is probably the best deal that you're gon na get out of everything that i'm mentioning in this video number five on the list. This is the aveeno fresh, green blends. Shampoo, it is sulfate free, it contains glycerin, which i mentioned before is great for your hair, because it's a humectant, i think, when i mentioned glycerin before i believe it was in um the hair mask and the heat protectant both of those products, although they're obviously going To go in your hair, so the glycerin is going to be beneficial in that way, this shampoo is going to be going obviously on your scalp. So if you have dry skin on your scalp, the glycerin is going to do a really great job at just reducing the dryness and just helping to soothe your scalp. Something really interesting about this shampoo is that the number one ingredient in this shampoo is collodial. Oatmeal extract, which is great for soothing, irritation, minimizing inflammation, it's just a great ingredient to have in your shampoo, and i i really quickly want to just read you guys something from the aveeno product page like on their website about the oats. I just found it kind of cute a little bit. We source our oats from a quiet mill located along the rolling hills of the mississippi river valley in a small town where pride and quality go hand in hand. We love the way we feel when everything is in balance. That'S why we start with oats as the first ingredient. Each blend helps to soothe your scalp and nourish your strands from root to tip. I just thought that that was really. I want to say funny, but i don't i don't know it's just it's. It'S uh, it's nice to see that the oats are um are grown on a quiet mill on the mississippi river. Also in the shampoo there is peppermint leaf, extract and rosemary leaf oil, which are both amazing for your scalp. They can help to promote healthy hair growth and just create the optimal environment on your scalp for healthy hair and healthy hair growth. The lather is great. It'S super easy to shampoo all of my hair. I just think that this is overall, an amazing drugstore shampoo. As far as the conditioner goes, i have not tried the conditioner, yet that goes along with the shampoo and one last thing about this shampoo. The silicone in this shampoo is peg7 ammo dimethicone, which is water soluble, meaning you do not need a strong sulfate to rinse off the silicone in the shampoo, which is great. This is the ogx extra strength, refreshing scalp, tea tree mint, shampoo, one of the cleansing agents at the top of the ingredient list is sodium c1416 ulfin sulfonate. This is a sulfate sulfonate, sorry that produces a lot of foam. So it's super easy to lather. It cleans your hair and scalp thoroughly if you have really oily hair. This is going to be an amazing sulfate, free shampoo for you. However, if you don't have oily hair, then i don't recommend the shampoo, because it will most likely dry out your hair, although the sulfonate that i just mentioned is obviously not a harsh sulfate. It'S definitely one of the stronger cleansing agents that you're gon na find in a shampoo um, which is why this is such a good shampoo for me, because i have really oily hair, but at the same time i can't use a sulfate like every time i wash It another reason why i love this. Shampoo is because there are so many amazing ingredients in it like tea tree leaf oil, peppermint leaf extract witch hazel, leaf extract. All of these ingredients are going to soothe your scalp they're, also anti-bacterial anti-microbial, so they can just help create a healthy environment on your scalp for optimal hair growth and hair health um. The silicone in this shampoo is peg, seven ammo dimethicone. This is the pantene nutrient blends rose, water, shampoo and conditioner. So within the shampoo and conditioner you have rose water, which is rich in vitamin b3 and b5, and that is going to help your hair to become softer. The silicone in both of these products is dimethiconal, which is pretty easy to rinse out and usually doesn't require a lot of heavy sulfates to rinse out unless you have a lot of build up from dimethic, conal or dimethicone. Now, here's why i really really love this combo, so most of the high-end shampoos and conditioners that work really well. For me like moroccan oil and kerastase, they are sulfate free, but they also have silicones like dimethicone or like dimethiconal in them. So they help to protect. My hair from uv damage from heat styling from brushing they help to reduce frizz. They spread out easily. They are relatively easy to wash out and i feel like, if you're looking for something like that, if you're looking for a silicone, rich, shampoo and conditioner, that is also sulfate free, this is going to be your best bet from the drugstore honestly. I i love these two shampoos and conditioners, but, as i mentioned the silicone that is in these two products, it can be washed out super easily, so it may not last in your hair as long and therefore the protection from that silicone may not be is not Going to be present in your hair as long, however, the silicone in these, i think, is just going to last longer and therefore it provides my hair with more protection, and i just love, it smells amazing, there's no dyes and then also i just wanted to mention. If you have super super thin oily hair, it could easily be weighed down by silicones. You probably don't want to use these. You would probably want to opt for these all right so now for l'oreal paris, el vive. Eight! Second wonder water, i'm gon! Na be honest, wonder water is kind of a wonder to me. I wonder you wonder what there's like a lot of sciency stuff behind it. I'M not a scientist. I don't know. I watched this one, video by abby young on lam, muller, lamellar water and it kind of broke it down to me, but i'm still a little bit confused, so i'm just gon na fill you guys in on what i know. This is straight from the l'oreal website. Wonder water works to coat the hair with moisturizing agents and an amino acid, and it targets damaged areas of the hair, forming small and very organized thin layers called lamellars that help smooth the surface of strands without weighing it down. So it is going to smooth your hair out by forming thin layers on your hair's surface after you use this, your hair is going to be shinier softer more healthy. Looking, this wonder, water is silicone free, it doesn't weigh down your hair and it's on the bottle. It'S like advertised as giving you an instant hair transformation in eight seconds, and, yes, i can confirm from my experience that is true. This product also has a low ph, which i've noticed a lot of l'oreal products do, which is great. This is great for damaged hair. If you have damaged hair - and you want a silicone free product, that's not going to create heavy build up. You need to try this like. This is incredible. I have never ever ever used a drugstore product that makes my hair feel as shiny and sleek as this product does. So, basically, how you use it. You shampoo your hair, like, depending on the thickness of your hair and the length you may need to use a lot like i personally use about this much. There are sort of doses like measurements on the back and you can use it two to three times a week on wet hair after you shampoo, when i think of this product. Basically, i think miracle drugstore hair care product, a miracle if you have really really damaged hair and like from all of the reviews that i've read online people have said that they have like severely damaged bleached hair, and this just totally transformed their hair. I feel like this just does not get enough recognition within the hair care community and, if you're looking for that, really sleek shiny, frizz, free hair, then look no further. This is like what you need. I love it. I love it and it smells amazing. Now i may have actually missed something on the list here. I did not talk about herbal essence, but one of the lines that i wanted to mention from herbal essences biorenew line. This is just a sulfate free hair care line once again very similar to this collection. From pantene the nutrient blends line from pantene because it has silicones and it is sulfate free. So i absolutely love these really great for color treated, hair great for oily hair, dry hair. I think that these are amazing and i maybe they would even be tied with like whatever pure but yeah love these. So i really hope that you guys enjoyed this video if you have any drugstore hair care products that you want me to try that i did not mention today. Leave it in the comments below i don't know. Maybe i've tried it and i will just fill you guys in on my personal review. If i haven't tried it, i will add it to the list of things that i need to try. As i have been saying from the past few videos, we are so close to a million subscribers. I just cannot even explain how grateful i am and how excited i am to hit a million. I appreciate every single one of you watching this video and supporting my channel. Thank you so much, and i will talk to you guys next time.
