THANK YOU FOR WATCHING!

So if you guys can remember about this time last year, Elise and I were bridesmaids at a wedding and our hairstylist gave us both severe heat damage on our hair. We'Ve been getting a overwhelming amount of questions pertaining to growing out heat damage, keeping your hair healthy without getting breakage and, of course, what I'm doing transitioning options. So I'm going to be showcasing a variety of videos that I hope will help you guys before. I do. My final chop soon, the first video is the most important which is strength in order to retain your length without getting breakage and damaging your healthy hair. You should do regular protein treatments. I do mines every 2 months or less than that, as you guys probably already know already. The affranchi two-step protein treatment has been my Holy Grail, but recently I came across one of their new formulas, which I found at my local target I'll be sure to leave a link down below, so you guys can find it at your target. However, I did find it quite difficult to find, so you definitely want to go ahead and use that link, so you can find it without having to waste the gas. First, I'm going to start off by sectioning off my hair into four equal sections to prepare my hair before shampooing to ensure that you get the most of your protein treatment. You want to make sure that your hair is cleansed and free of all product build-up. So I'm using afro cheese, keratin and green tea shampoo. This shampoo is super delicate, so a long strip, your hair, while adding in green tea, which will help with soothing and alleviating scalp irritation as well as keratin, which repairs and improves your overall hair condition. I'M going to use a generous amount to my scalp work it into a lather, apply it throughout my hair and then rinse step. One is the strengthening treatment. This treatment contains ingredients such as amino acids and hydrolyzed vegetable proteins, which makes it great for all hair types, including low, porosity, hair. What I love about this improved formula is that the consistency is more pliable. Unlike the last formula, which was more runny and watery guys, remember also, you don't have to use a dryer with this. I section my hair off into subsections and then apply a small amount to my hair, making sure the product reaches each of my strands and twist up and move on to the next section for best results. You'Re going to want to gather your hair up and place a plastic bag over your hair. You don't have to use a dryer with this process, but yeah. I let the formula sit on my hair for about 15 10 to 15 minutes. Of course, you can do it for around 5 minutes, depending on how fine your hair is. But this is the way my hair looked after the 15 minutes it. You can really see the product working and you can really see that my hair was very much more texture than before, but yeah go ahead and rinse it with cool water and I'll. Show you guys what I do next. You really want to balance your hair by putting moisture back in for step, two I'm using Afridi's protective moisturizing conditioner, which contains botanical extracts, vitamins and humectants, which will help with improving the elasticity and softening your hair. After doing your protein treatment, I like to apply a generous amount throughout my hair, focusing on my ends, since those are the oldest parts of my hair, and I also like to focus on my most damaged parts because it needs more TLC. I want to leave the conditioner on my hair for about one minute. However, you guys know how I am I need moisture I like to leave my saw for 15 minutes, while sitting under my steamer, which will really help with getting that moisture to penetrate my hair. Shafts and after that, I'm going to rinse with cold water and I'll show you guys what I do next so stay tuned. So this is the way my hair looks after rinsing out the deep conditioner, as you guys can see, I am so ready to finally cut off the rest of that hair. I'M excited about all the limp that I have retained, but I'm going to follow up that step by applying some leave-in conditioner to my hair, I'm using my afro Chico epic, moisture, rich leave-in, which is infused with shea butter as well as hydrolyzed vegetable, proteins and carotene, Which is not only going to add moisture to your hair, but it's going to continue on with the whole strengthening treatment. So I really like that for my hair, I'm also going to seal in that moisture using some argan oil, which is going to keep my hair. Looking nice and soft and shiny for a few days, but one thing that I do do after protein treatments is: I follow it up by doing a maximum hydration method. To my hair I will do a video on it, so you guys can see exactly how I do it, because I will say that I am protein sensitive, which is um pretty much. You know familiar for all people with low porosity hair and even though I do have some high porosity parts, but you know I am protein sensitive, so I do the protein for strength, but I also followed up by doing a maximum hydration method for moisture. So I will do a video, so you guys can see, but I'm going to follow up those steps by applying some more leaving to my hair as well as sealing it in with my oil. I'M just going to put my hair and Platt so that it can remain like this for the next few days and yeah again you guys I did get this from my local target. I will leave a link down below because I went to two other targets and didn't see it there. However, I got lucky and found out a third target. Make sure you use the link down below so you guys can locate it because I don't want you guys going everywhere looking for it, but I absolutely love this treatment. I love the new formula life in fact that it's not messy, I don't have to use heat. Just to set the product in my hair, so if you guys do happen to try this out, let me know how you guys feel about it. All the links will be listed down below for you guys and I'll catch. You guys in the next video bye, guys.

Batgirl P: The person who invents something to truly reverse heat damaged hair will be a billionaire.

PSALMSOFSONGS: What I don't understand about some stylist is as professionals, how come they disregard using so much heat and cause heat damage? haven't they learned that in beauty school?

Des Williams-McPherson: That hair stylist would've caught my fade! Scorching a sistas hair is like stabbing her in her heart

JaiiNicole: Your hair looks great! I have heat damage but I work through mine. It's not bad enough for me to cut it. Also to me your hair still has a curl pattern where you have heat.

CurlyinColorado: Thank you for sharing! I didn't realize there was a new formula. I've just been using the 2 min Reconstructor conditioner because the 2 Step was so messy. This looks like it's much easier to use. Thanks again!

Yalon Mishaél: My heat damage feels like it's taking forever to grow out. Im still doing protein treatments also.

Sharita Richardson: I just used this treatment including the shampoo and I love it.

Victoria Murden: Great video, I watched this after I found the product at Sally beauty supply and wanted to know how to use it. My hair has also been damaged by a salon and I don't want to big chop for a 3rd time so I'm attempting to grow out the bad ends before I chop it.

Linda Lynn: Your hair looked super moisturized from using the new formula! I am going to have to get my hands on it too and do a review. I have low porosity as well.

FlawlessAndFancy: Y'all's hair's texture is so beautiful. I used Aphogee once years ago and I didn't really care for it. Maybe I would try it again since the formula has been improved. My hair is not damaged though.

Jasmine LaRae: love this video! your hair doesn't look that bad... it's seems it's more severe in the front! You can definitely shake back from this!

Kimberly Price: how many times did you need to do the 2 step protein treatment before your curls came back? I just did one and they dont look much different?

Sherri Hollyfield: One of the best videos I've seen! Beautiful hair girl!!!

ymarcel s: have you tried doing a weekly ACV treatment? I heard that helps you hair revert back to curly

Olivia Brown: Gorgeous style!! I would definitely love to see you do a review of Straight Silk Spray with Argan Oil by JuniorLabs. It really gets my hair silky smooth ❤️❤️

Darcey DeRosa: What products did you use when not using the Aphoghee?

Salma Hafsa: Never done a protein treatment and every time I brush i see little breakage. I have low porosity and kind of scared trying this. Any recommendation.... Also I think the fact that I haven't trimmed my hair in like 2 years plays into it( as you can see I didn't care much about my hair and now I'm trying to do right by hair)

Briana Diggs: so helpful going through this now

Rose Pitts: Thanks so much for this video and the link! I found at my Target store that's about 15 min away.

Trina: Glad I've watched this I think I'm going to buy this. I dyed my hair red and now my hair is dry and I don't like the color anymore so I want to strengthen my hair before I dye it a dark purple color in march

Braids Wig Queen: beautiful hair you've got hun

lucero gomez: I love your curly hair!!!!!!

Tanesha Jones-Wadlington: I really need these products, thanks twins!

deleted_acc: i did a keratin treatment on my hair and i got all damaged. i washd all the keratin out. will this work or is it too much keratin processing? please help!!!

Freedom Styles: Your hair is everything :)

Sonyas' All-Around-Look: Thank you for the video!

Pretty Bubbles: I love how you just took your time instead of rushing

Lovely Lasean: Great video! Your hair is gorgeous!

NaturalHoustonian: Oh wow, the product doesn't make your hair hard as a rock anymore. That's great!

Blanche Bell: where'd you get your hair steamer from?

nineteen96: Oh my gosh! I love your hair.

Naptural’s Finest: where can I buy that steamer?

Nuelle: I would've just chopped my damage off. Because I too got heat damage by a woman at a salon, but she gave me damage at my ROOTS! then the rest of the hair would be puffy! To hide it I've only worn my hair in pony tails and bums, but I'm o tired of it, I just want my curls/coils back and I worked way to hard to wait for my hair to grow from the roots to cut it off and start allover again. I refuse.

family page: your hair type is amazing I have 4b-4c hair and it's heat damaged and it's less than medium length but longer than short length and ita annoying the crap outta me

rollybaby1: your hair looks very full and healthy looks like you haven't got much heat damage left have you been micro trimming?

MercifulLove: Hi, pretty hair...just curious, how long have you been natural?.....( I know this video is old)

Uju Ifedi: omg! hair goals!

Life With M.: omg i used the old formula about 3 weeks ago and it damaged my hair sooo badly :'( i just cut it a few minutes ago actually because it was so bad.

ItsJess Guys: Why is everyone I see using the old protein treatment? I will definitely be trying this new formula

terricaaa turnerrr: At least somebody think about gas lol . My hair need to be treated soooo bad and cut .

Aliya Jazmin: now i have flat roots and wavy hair do you think this should work??

lovemakeup22: What type of steamer is that and where did you get it from?

Eve Johnson: I got mine on Amazon

HollyWoodStar2000: Does the new step treatment smell bad like the old one?

Ms. Byrd: Isn't your hair supposed to get SUPER HARD with this product and then be CAREFULLY rinsed out?

Octavia: I don't have a streamer could I use my hair dryer with a hooded attachment ?

afrprincess07: they reformulated that protein treatment?? Amen!!!!

Alexandria: How do I make my curl pattern less frizzy and damaged looking... ? Would this help

Nuelle: Ok, the aphogee protein treatment is expensive!!!!!!!!!

stacie m: I have a perm. is it okay to do this treatment??

Beautiful Angelique: I need that

Big body Benz: great hair

Cute Cookie: at 2:13 i thought you were crying at first...looool i was GIRL NOOOOOO <3<3<3<3<3<3

ghiligoliana 1990: You are beautiful

Ms. Woodard: It said DO NOT put plastic over it

Batgirl P: We didn't see the results.

andy higginbottom: *I developed a sensitivity to various chemicals that are found in most shampoos, soaps, lotions, etc, so I tried Argan Life shampoo and conditioner and it's great! It doesn't irritate my skin at all. I love the smells.*

tbanks789: I have never done a protein treatment, is it really necessary for natural hair?

Yellow Flowers: whats the songggg

Isabella: I have heat damage but I do not want to cut off what so whatever what should I do? And I heard the aphogee treatments is expensive. Should I just grow it out ?
