Hey guys Jess Alec here today, I'm showing Lindsay as an example because we're going through hair rehab over here we were what all blonde for a long time, long time and too much damage. So we went to her root color. We did a Balayage we're just letting it be so it can grow and I feel like that is a scenario that so many of you are in when we're talking and we're trying to figure out like will it blend and we're in between like five colors, because You really could go with a few, so usually I recommend going with something simple comfortable, maybe a bit beginner level so that you get comfortable wearing it and wear it all the time so that you feel good about your investment and then you feel good about getting Other ones because you'll want to so here's her haircut and which is why I want to show you all the layers, some unevenness through the back up to the front. This is very normal for so many of you, so she does have a Balayage which helps with blending color. But let's say she was talking with me. Virtually I'd be asking: what's your goal with your hair? Are you wanting just some fullness to fill in through here or are you wanting some length like? What'S your main goal, and most of you say I want fullness for sure - maybe a little bit of length so we're deciding between the 12 inch and the layered 14 inch. The 12 inch isn't original and the layered 14 inches the thicker one. So this is a 12. it's going to be the most lightweight. It'S thin! Well, it's flat through here and then it gets thicker at the end. So I'm going to put that on her, so you can see a visual and then we'll go with the layered 14.. You can see the difference because both are great options. It'S just preference, so I'm going to section her hair, I have to say she does not wear a 12. Normally she only wears layered. I was putting this one on her and she was like. Oh okay. I could do this, so sometimes you don't know to try it on that you're, like okay, I have options. I don't just have to go with my layered 14, my layered 18. okay. So the 12 inch also, I think, is surprising how long it actually is because it's the shortest length we're like. Oh, no, I don't want that one when really it gives you a few inches, so I'm gon na comb this around okay, one-sided in, but in the other okay. So this is the most lightweight of them all, which I think she was also really excited about. She was like, oh my gosh, I it's literally weightless, okay, original 12., perfect, it's so natural! Looking! It'S super lightweight turn your head. You can still transition her layers and original comes one length. We always cut a little bit of layering into it just so it Blends more naturally, and it makes the ends a little bit fluffier rather than laying so flat. So we put a little bit of layering in, but still this Blends just fine a lot of you when you're concerned about breakage or short pieces, you don't think it's going to blend in with a Halo and really it is the easiest to blend. If you have a little bit of breakage or more layering, to be honest, so you have options, I'm always looking for shape. So the only scenario where a 12 might not work as is, or we would just cut it a little bit shorter, is, if you have really thick hair through here, and it's of course, or has a lot of curl to it, that we might need to go With the layered 14 inch just for that transition, but otherwise most of you a 12 inch is perfect. Okay, so I'm going to show you the layered 14.. So this one, this one also is not balayage and her layered 14 inch is a balayage. So once again you have options so the layered versus the 12. The layered, has more weight through the middle, so it's thicker, which is great for building in a transition when we want to get the most length out of it, that we can and still feel like. It Blends without trying it too hard, so this will be two inches longer than the one she had before, and this is the one she wears most of the time. Okay, so again it adds a few more inches than the other, but where you see the shape difference is through the middle, so I should probably put a side by side of these on her, so you could see it more exactly because they are so similar. But it's through here, so you get the fullness around your jawline. So, like me, my hair is this length. I wear my layered 14 inch all the time because I just want the volume through here and then it tapers off. That'S the layered 14 inch. So if you want a lot of poof, a lot of volume give me some volume up here, because it's propping your hair up, that's a layered 14 inch, but again both would work and both are so similar. This one is 30 thicker than the 12 inch original, but still very comfortable. She could wear it all day here. Put your head down. There is a wire it's held on by a clear wire. If you can see it like right here, there's like four hairs tucked in so you just want to find those hairs comment and then it's clear. So a lot of you brunettes are like. I know you can't see it on a blonde, but I'm a brunette. You can see everything, will it will it be noticeable? No, you just got ta calm out from around that wire, okay side by side. There you go.
