Like this takes me from like Patricia like patr, I CIA, to Patricia with two eyes and hey everyone and welcome back to my channel in this video, I'm going to be showing you all how I apply my hair, extensions and style them it's, and if you want To see how I got this look, then just keep on watching, okay guys, so I have already washed my hair. I wash my hair this morning and I straightened it. I blowed out with my Revlon air dryer and I did run the straightening iron to it. So it's not so frizzy, but I do want to go ahead and part my hair to the side when I'm putting my extensions on and not in the middle, so this past weekend I got a lot of love on my hair and it was parted to the Side like this, this is where my natural part is, and I'd like to add my extensions. So this is my set of Bellamy hair extensions. Oh first things. First, I'm going to section off my hair to section off my hair, starting from the very bottom. I have to join this for so long that I just do with my finger. I don't even do it with like a comb that I'm kind of supposed to it just works for me this way, so I'm just gon na go ahead and pretty much. My guideline is to go like pillock to the middle and and you don't want to go too high up, but you also don't want to go too low because you want the length still, but you also want to make sure that it blends. So you don't want to take too much hair. It'S gon na look really obvious and I'm just going to get a hair tie my hair up - and this is what it's kind of kind of look like. Okay. So now that my hair is sectioned from the bottom there's two things that you can do, you can either tease your hair a little bit to make the extensions stay on longer or you can add some hairspray as well. I don't really like to add too much product to my hair to begin with, because I don't like to strip to wash my hair more than once a week. So I try to limit myself on like spray and gels and stuff like that, even though I know it does make the hair last longer. But I do recommend that if you have finer hair and your hair has been to tease the roots a little bit because they don't help the extensions clip on longer and not slide off. So if the tease, I literally will just get the roots teased up and that's not as much as I do. I don't do too much like the Jersey girls. Do it a few semesters, it looks just like I did. You would understand what I'm referencing to, but I just do enough where I know the clips are going to cling onto the hair, so the first weft that I use is a three-part, wet, there's, threes or fours and there's twos. So I slip them over like this and then I just get the hair. I twist it a little bit so sometimes, but I don't feel like teasing. I just twist the hair and it works just fine. So this is how it's looking at first. So what I'm gon na do is especially the bottom I like to make sure that everything kind of looks, cohesive and seamless. So I just kind of straighten, as I go, to make sure that the shorter hairs blend in with the longer ones and then what I'll do is instead of using a curling iron or a wand. I was getting my hair done this past week and my one of the stylist inside of this mom told me that she does her feet. Wigs and her curls with the straightening iron because they last longer - and I did that all weekend and it really helped extensions to in my prepared to hold a curl a lot longer than I would. Then it would have looked like a curling wand or a curling iron. So the way I do it is I'll get the hair and I'll kind of just keep pressing, because I feel like when I just like kind of like slide it like this. The hair looks a little crimp II like it gets stuck in the heat, and I also make sure my heat setting isn't super super high either I'd leave it at like 15 or 20 and I'm using a collinear. So if you're familiar with Con herons that you'll understand, that's it so just like that, for the next section I'm gon na go just a little bit higher up, not too much from the from where my hair extensions are right now and twist tie your hair up. Let it get out of the way pull the hair up, so I'm going to go in with another three clip. I it depends on your head shape, but I feel like my head gets really. It goes like this when you're like towards it back, so you have to start off with, like the lesser amount of clip and then gradually ease into the larger and the longer ones, because if not, the extensions are going to feel super uncomfortable and they're, not gon. Na wear correctly, so I'm gon na tease a little bit. I mostly just focus on teasing these four parts of the hair. This is like a little nerve-racking, because this is my first character toriel and people haven't asked me to do her toes for a long time, but I especially on extensions, but I felt so insecure that, like I'm, not hairstylist, you know what am I doing here. I should six just six of makeup, but I'm, like you know what it works for me. I get compliments. I must be doing something right, so I hope you guys appreciate this. I really hate the fact that, like Latinas are so there's a stigma that, like Latinas, can't wear hair extensions or that it's like nasty and gross, and I'm like you know what most of the most popular celebrities wear, hair extensions and wear weaves and men are in Love with them, but then, like it's a guess soon, as a regular like being a girl wears, it was like. Oh, why are you wearing that? Oh, that guy, like I've, got ex-boyfriends have like I had what ex work, and I literally stole my hair side of extensions and threw them away because he hated me wearing them another one that was like every single time. I would wear them. He would like think this is so disgusting, I'm just like what so discussing about it. Like I'm sorry, my hair doesn't girl to haul anymore. My hair is damaged from the dye, so it's like it tastes, a really secure man and a really confident man, which I have now to appreciate a woman in her extra Ness, because a lot of these guys are so unsecured they don't, and it's just like. Why is it that I'm not a lot of our hair extensions? Why is it that Latinas have to have long, luscious hair like sorry like we're, not all perfect, and we should be able to express ourselves with our hair? I love hair extensions. You know I'm ready to get myself a curly pair and throw my hair at for 101 over my hair natural - and I you know, I love switching my look up and I just feel like sometimes women ourselves like we don't even want to say rain, hair extensions Because we're just scared of with a little thing, but it's like there's nothing wrong with in, like there's nothing wrong with that. We wear false lashes. We wear makeup like it's like the same thing like this takes me from like Patricia like patr, I CIA, to Patricia with two eyes and an age like they just completely changed. My mood like I love them. Okay, so now I'm going to start the new set of tracks in my hair, but Bellamy, I was told by someone that, like they don't like them, because they feel like they're too tangly and this past weekend, I did wear them and I did feel like they Were kind of like big tangled really easily and got kind of nappy, but I did wonder if maybe yes, because I've dyed them later and that's just because the hair is, it has great quality as it was when I bought it. But I didn't notice that. But I do like them, they thought they'd. Last me a long time. My second set of Bellamy's that I wore for like two years straight and big I could have still probably wearing them because they were so good. They were amazing quality, but they were thrown away. So I love hair extensions. I think my next set of hair extensions - I'm gon na - do like 26 inches because I love long hair, but if you hope that everyone is having an amazing summer, I feel like the summer has been so crazy. It'S been like one of the best yeah worst summer is because it's like it's just been so much happening like this. Has it's been? It'S been fun this but event. I think this has been like one of the most life-changing summers of my life. I'M making some really like grown-up decisions and come fall, like my life is changing and I'm so excited to tell you guys about what is happening. What I have in store, because yeah like there's gon na, be some huge changes and I will make a video entirely dedicated to that or probably don't it'll probably be, must bangs, because I guess I say because you know I love eating and I haven't done one Of those yet - and I feel like it would just be appropriate okay, so we're almost done and I'll also link down all the extension companies that I've used. I remember one time when my sister really started this trend of wearing extensions, so one time when we were in high school sister got like a haircut and it was like really short. My sister here was so long, so she was like shook, so she ended up buying her first set of extensions and her hair was black at the time. So you know with here accepted to take care of them and watch them so one day everywhere. She was washing them and she left them to dry in the shower and like hung it up on a little like wrap that we have in the shower, and I remember coming and said bath. There was like midnight half asleep and then I am like on the toilet and I look up and I see like black long wet hair and I had like I like almost like myself. Oh my god like what. But I thought it was like, like the girl from like the ring, I was so so scared and then I realized. Those are extensions, so just be prepared that if you have a window before and you're living with, someone else be mindful of that and they can easily have someone shook if they don't know what they are so we're here. You want to be careful because you don't want the clips to be too high up and it's gon na show and your people are gon na, be able to tell you everyone, so you have to make sure they're as low as possible I'll kind of start. A little higher up here, but I'll just go low, so it's not gon na be a straight line. It'S gon na be kind of like a sloop, a slope. Sorry like what did they use again, a nice bone mass, that's low, yeah! Leave it to me so to use a math term when it comes to hair, so I want to do the three first right here coming together now this is optional, but if you want extra like volume here because we're here, it's part to the side, you can Add one more track, so I probably just will just show you guys like what it looks like so really define that part. So now, I'm just gon na go ahead and curl the top and then we're all done. So all in all, this does take a little bit of time, especially when you're first starting out, because we want to make sure everything's, cohesive and blunted, but it's honestly not that bad. I always set aside like at least an extra 30 minutes just to do this. I'M just gon na add some kenra silken gloss just had some shine just a little bit, especially on the end and like right here. This is flexible hairspray. This is Sebastian Schaefer hold in control here right, but it doesn't make my hair flaky or super hard. So I love that so now, if you guys want to see this back and how that looks, I hope you guys enjoyed this tutorial. As always, it has been a pleasure. I hope you guys liked it don't forget to give me a thumbs up and subscribe and also follow me on my social media, my Instagram. It'S Patricia it's listed down below and yep. That'S about it!
