Bellami Vs Zala Hair Extensions, Which One Do I Prefer?

Oh, my god, so um I just decided to make a video. Finally, I don't want to be absent for too long. Am i right? Okay, so this was. I decided to just do like a video about this I've gotten questions asked about my old hair extensions. My old Bellamy, hair extensions, I'm wearing the new ones. Currently, so I've been asked. How are the old ones holding up? Do you recommend Zala or felony? Hair extensions and people have been asking where have missoula hair extensions been now I'm gon na answer those questions right now, so I don't remember the names of the people who asked me that that question I dunno he's comments how my videos ones before he has like Long blonde hair shoutout to you I'm making this video so um Zala vs. Bellamy, which one is better. You know, what's my opinion on both of them, how have they hold held up? So I still have my Zala hair extensions here. They are. I got the 30 inches in the color ice, queen platinum blonde. Now, don't be fooled because this color has been altered. Um one of my biggest complaints about sala hair extensions is the fact that their ice cream platinum blonde was miss. Um was advertised incorrectly because platinum blonde can be many many shades, because platinum blonde is a cool shade, so they could have a little bit of silver. It could be just stark white. It there's many different versions of platinum blonde, which I am aware of, because of course I studied hair. I know the warm, the cool colors, what colors you can put to make it sober, putting a cool ash or something intense ash. So I get how you make platinum blonde hair. Sometimes it had it hints of silver, a hint of grey, since it could be just basically white. I know how that works. That being said in the website, they were showing women with basically my hair color, basically white. Basically, I'm not I'm using a light right now. I don't have a green light or anything, so I just use a light that I have in my room. I'Ll show it at the end of the video, but my hair is not naturally this white. I do have. I haven't told my hair in a while, so it there is a little bit of brassiness a little bit of gold in my hair, but you can't really see it so this hair looks very white. Now now I will say that this hair, the link, is beautiful. I love love, love, love, love the length of this hair, now sorry sidetracking, so yeah with the website. One of my biggest complaints was that they were false advertising. The color I scream platinum blonde because when I unboxed it it literally looked like a gray color like just great and whenever I went to my different parts of my house, it would come off in a different way. If I was in my kitchen, it would look like a light silver color. If I went to my bathroom or my living room, I could literally see purple on my hair, so what I did to make them this color is I bleached them with. I think 10 volume - and I did I did a heavy density - highlight because you can still see some of the gray in here like. Let me show you. This is one of their two clip wax. If you see how great that looks, if you see it like that's kind of a gray color, and if you see how this is more platinum gray, you can totally tell the difference. This is the original color. I don't know if I put it against the wall. No, you can't tell, but I did highlight these, but the consequence when it came to highlighting these is it took away the luster of the hair. It took away the shine. It took away the silkiness, so these extensions died really really fast and I didn't really know how to change the gray color into a platinum color without bleaching. I could have done a color remover or something like that, but I was not gon na go to walk, Walmart or Walgreens or Sally's to go, get it just for his hair. So I did bleach him with ten-volume. I think I left it for like 15 minutes and it did take out the great color, but the consequence of that was it killed the hair now, because I can't wear this hair anymore because it literally just like it gets tangled so easily now. But I on the upside, I have found a use for these hair of his hair. I typically use it when I braid my hair. I took when I do like a when I do. Like my box braids, I typically wear the 30 inches because I want my hair to be long and I've had these since November, the November of last year, No November of 2017. So they are a little bit over a year old a year in three months and honestly within the first month, or so I couldn't wear these again just because first off they got tangled really easily and second off, I'm someone with a lot of hair. I it may not look like. I have a lot of hair to be honest, but I love the thickest amount of hair that you can get this. This website claims that this hair is 30 inches 300 grams and you can either opt to have a 5. I think 5, a piece you can order a five piece set or a nine piece that I think I order a nine piece set one. Let me see two three, four, five, six, seven yeah, so you so they recommend people with more finer hair to get the 5 clip set or if you have thicker hair, you can get the 9 clip set. Now, with this hair, when I, when I initially unbox it - and I felt it - it didn't feel thick to me this I feel like it may seem thick to some people. But for me, someone who has a lot of hair this. This doesn't work for me and but you also have to consider I'm a big extension junkie. I'Ve been wearing extensions since 2013, so I know the ins and outs to a certain extent, I'm not an expert, but I do know because I have bought many many clips and many many many sets or whatever now the longer the hair, the less hair they put On it, so you know when you want to get 30 inches. Of course it's gon na spin out. If you look how kind of stringy these look, I use typically that the three clip west, when I braid my hair, but it just. I am well aware that the longer the hair, the less amount of hair they put in it the length the the more putting it this way more, more length, equal, less density, let's just say that or less grammage whatever you want to call it by, but I Think the hair length is absolutely beautiful. I just feel like I would probably have to buy two packs of this hair in order to feel satisfied with the width the thickness mm. That being said, I would not buy two packs of hair because that's almost $ 600 worth probably $ 700 um, so I probably should about the beachy blonde hair and probably just tone it to make it more like a white color, because these are my platinum blonde Extensions from Bellamy where these are my new ones where they didn't these are straight out of the box. They don't look silver, they don't look gray, they literally look white to me. This is my example. This is what this is Bellamy. Actually, no felonies advertising was a little bit more baby. I feel wasn't so white like this, but again it's just like. I would rather have a color, that's lighter, so I could just go dark then, having something. That'S completely different and it's hard for me to alter the color and, like I said in the web, on the website, there is many most of the models that were wearing the zahla ice. Queen platinum blonde, look like they had white hair like myself like how it looks like right now, but when I got the box, it was not that at all and after making that video I had, I had quite a bit of people actually tell me the exact Same thing like, I ordered the ice cream platinum blonde and they are exactly the same colors as yours. How did you fix yours or people were saying how, like they received the the package and it looks gray and silver to them? And I have deemed a couple people letting them know. I typically highlighted mine, but beware because these can kill the life of these, which these absolutely we did um like I said I think the length is beautiful, but I would not be able to wear these like like this, because this is so much maintenance, because I Have to constantly be brushing them, and all this BS my mind you if your hair's, fine or thin these will work great for you, I feel like and again you also have to consider that I am. I am male, so my head is bigger than then uh. Then a female if that makes sense, so it's like I need, I have a lot of head space and I can fit a lot of hair and I feel like this is in my opinion. I feel like this isn't a lot to be perfectly honest: um yeah. I just feel like this isn't enough for me, so if you have thinner hair finer hair, these will work great someone like me, who has basically thick curly hair. This is a little bit of a letdown and I will not be purchasing from Zala again. Um, like I said, I think there are thirty inches are balm, but I probably not gon na spend three hundred. I think I spent almost 400. These are more expensive than Bellamy hair extensions, so I'm not going to be spending all this money on this hair. So now these are my Bellamy extensions. These are the first pair that I got, and these are the I got these in a in the beach blonde. Color six one three: I got these March of 2017, so these are going to turn two years old in two months, so um so yeah. I got this hair now with this honestly. If you look at them, if they don't, they are still there. She is still killing it she's still working it. I have cut the ends off a little bit cuz during, of course, with me constantly wearing them. The ends have tuned up quite a bit, so I have trim them up but like, but yes, this is the the to clip one. I have toned these so now they kind of match my hair somewhat they're, not as yellow as they were when I first unbox them. I did tone him with a purple shampoo and I left it on for maybe like three minutes, and that was - and that was it. I will say that these have lasted me a really they have. They have lasted me for almost two years. They are still killing it they're. So good and honestly I got the new Bugatti set, which is the 340 grams and I feel like the ponytail is so much more thicker than 300 grams, because I don't know, if you can it's hard to tell the difference. When you can't it's hard to tell the difference, you know that you can't it's all about touching it like. I can feel that this feels so much more thicker than this, and it's crazy. How there's just a 40 gram difference how this is just 40 grams thicker than this, but I feel like 40 grams, make a big difference mind you again. These are shorter extensions, so they're gon na be they're gon na feel a little bit more thicker, but for the people out there who have like super thick, coarse hair, I don't have like the thickest hair in the world, but my hair is on the coarser side. I would definitely recommend getting bellami hair extensions. I think, like I said these are just seven seven clips and I'm able to wear them and feel like I have enough hair. That is nine clips and I feel like I need another package of hair. It'S just so crazy to me like if I'm to be honest, it's just like. If you see the difference, I feel like how this is more full and how this is more stringy like. If you look at that, like how this starts to kind of thin out at the ends right here, because I have had these for two years and to think these are like only like a year old and like look, how much they've thinned out like like there's? Not a lot of hair to be to be perfectly honest, compared to this, we can't really tell the difference, but I just feel like this has so much more hair than this one you'd even tell see right here, look how look, how much more string Yunus looks Compared to this so, but I will say that you know both things that are things that I like about. Both of these extensions are the fact that how they're woven into each other - I think, that's nice - the clips are really bomb. I put this. I put these in my hair and I can braid up my hair and these will not come off, so I will say that dolla has points, I guess for the the clips and the way that the way that they sewed the tracks on they have a plus On that, but, like I said, I just feel like this: isn't enough hair for me and that's just me being biased because, like I said, I'm someone where I want a lot of hair and that's why I get the Bellamy Bugatti set and I also get the Bellamy Bugatti set because, of course, the volumizing with', which is like I'm like heaven, which is just basically like Nine West, just sewn together. I absolutely love this and it's like so so beautiful like anyway, so yeah it's while the people out there that are wandering or have been asking. Yes, these are my Salah hair extensions and if you look, you can still see if you kind of, if I put all the clips together, you can see how there's like that SIL silver tone compared to this, which is more like it's like white and platinum. So you cuz, if you look at that, like look, how that looks, that's horrible! So if you have hair like mine, like basically platinum blonde hair, and if you want to order from Zala hair extensions, I don't recommend getting ice cream, platinum, blonde, just get beachy blonde and just toned them with a purple shampoo. Because that's your best option, um anyway and, like I said I feel like Bellamy - I don't know if it's just because there are more. There are more, I guess worldwide brand and they're more well known that I feel like they're just so much better. I feel because mind you, you know these constant, I think at the time they cost me around $ 320, and you know this came with like a brush and an extension carrying case, and it came like in a beautiful box, mind you and then this came in, Like in a cardboard box - and it came with just the hair - and that's it - you know what I'm saying it's like this comes with even more. This comes with more goodies than this does, but I don't know like I said if you have fine hair thin hair and if you want super super long. Hair gets ala. If you have thick hair like really thick hair and if you and if you're, trying to get hair that'll match your thickness and maybe with some length, I would recommend getting Bellamy. These are only 22 inches which are pretty long. If you can see and depending on your height I'm pretty tall, so of course I feel like I want longer hair, because I am 5, I'm almost 6 feet if you're shorter, like by 2 5 3. These will probably reach your waist. You never know so so. Just end it and it just crazy - think I, like 7, just 7, webs or 7 Clips, makes my hair feel so much more fuller compared to having 9 and still feeling I have no hair at all, like no hair at all. I don't know it's just. I feel like the West are kind of sown a little bit thin because, like honestly, I wear all these and I feel like I have like I said with that hair I can wear my hair just the way it is, but with this all a hair extensions, I have to literally braid everything from my ear down just so my real hair is not showing because that's how thin these are. Even when I got him out of the box before they were altered, they were still. They still look very thin to me. So I would say that these are more. I guess all the hair extensions are catered for, people with more finer hair, I feel maybe, like I don't know, and then I feel like Bellamy. Hair is made for people with actually thick hair and if you have super thick hair or if you want a lot of it, I recommend getting the Bugatti set. These are almost two years old and they still feel great. You know these are obviously they get matted up a little bit easier than these, which are more Sookie, they've lost a silkiness, but that will come when you wear it more and more often, but it's just. I can still run my fingers through it with no issues. Like really good, and then with this hair, it's just been so bad, where it's like my hand just stops, and I feel like I just grabbed clumps of hair. I will say that this hair it gets this hair has been shedding quite a bit. If you look this hair sheds quite a bit and also it could just be because of the bleach job I did on it, which I guess whatever, but like yeah overall my verdict, this, I prefer bellami a lot more than Zala um. I just feel like it's just a preference. I guess some people love zalem more than Bellamy, or vice versa. I'M someone where I will probably stick to Bellamy for quite a while, until maybe I don't know I just feel like this - is like the only hair that I've received not received the only head I bought that I just feel that is thick that has minimal shedding And it's actually like matches your color to a tee. They don't really do much false, add or tizen, but anyway crap. That'S my review. Federal review on Bellamy. First is Allah, so choose your fighter, whichever one you want to choose. But if you look look at that length of za like it's, the length is beautiful. One more thing I'll say to what I love about Bellamy also is the fact that the ends of the hair, when you get it out of the box, are already blended. For you, because when you first get extensions, they can look very blocky, and what I mean by that is, it looks like someone just just just bluntly cut your hair. Now, when you get extensions, you have to get them blended, you have to get the ends. Nice and like tapered for them to look natural. They, the Bellamy, hurts to just come that way. These don't so you'd have to either cut them yourself or blend them yourself or have someone else blend them which will cost you some money. So that's the only that's one of the things I found interesting too about the hair to which I like cuz. If you look like these, don't look blocky at all. These look like they just flow anyway. Again, that's all I got to say, but I'll say if my final verdict is my fighter would definitely be these. The Bellamy hair extensions anyway, and that and I love them so much. That'S why I bought another set and I will be buying a third set pretty soon and it's gon na probably be the same color number 80, because it matches my hair to a tee. I don't have to tone it. I don't have to do anything to it, which I love anyway until next time bye. Here'S my light, see if you look at that, like that's, that's you like that. I rely my focus on or that mic that's my ring light. Basically, anyway,

Jadore Makeup: My Bellamis lasted almost a year love them but I also love that ZALA has 30 inches. So I order two 5 piece sets to get 10 pieces. The ZALA hair will not tangle and keep its coating if you buy the revive me spray. Mine came in a super fancy box with a sample of that and the shampoo and conditioner. I tried the revive me spray and I’m obsessed I put it on my real hair. Also their points program is cool I got 20$ off for building up points. Bellami is great but there’s a lot of great benefits to ZALA as well if you take care of them properly. Ive worn almost every brand and those are my top two recommendations!

Marie1232: YES SAME!! Zara completely false advertised same thing happened to me. I have white blonde hair with no yellow undertones so I was so excited to get these cause the girls who wore them was almost the same color as my hair and when I got them they legit were the color grey with purple undertones. I was so upset. And then on top of that, when I colored them they literally were ruined and I was never able to get a refund. I have many many years of experience coloring extensions so trust me when I say it was my hair color that did the damage!!! Thanks for being honest about that company!

Holly Gamble: I can vouch for the Ice Queen platinum blonde Zala extensions being misrepresented :/ The Chestnut and Mocha are pretty true to color in my experience, but the lighter you get the more variation you'll find in actual color vs advertised color :/ Easy to fix but worth knowing!

Vanessa Lynn: I have ordered ice queen from ZALA so many times and it’s always been the PERFECT match until recently. I have bought two new sets in the SAME color and they are darker then my old sets. I think they changed the color formula. The color use to be a very white platinum silver color and now they are a dark gray steel color. I tried bleaching and toning them and they got damaged super fast and I still wasn’t able to get the gold tones out of them

sabrina madeline: I agree with the toning part they do tend to overtone hair extensions and it's a huge problem. When I purchased mine I just ended up turning my hair to the color of the extensions cuz toner doesn't last that long anyway, it was a bit annoying but to be honest I liked it because most extensions turn yellow after a couple wears just from the Sun and being outside ( I swear idk why but i didnt even wash them or product etc) and ended up matching my hair color and all the purple tones were gone. I don't really think this is an accurate review though because you did have to bleach them right so obviously they're not going to hold up as good as the bellami ones. Personally my bellami wearn't nearly as good but I didn't ever chemically alter my Zala.

Misfit Bec Live!!!: I got the Champaign blonde in the Zala range and when they came they were more yellow then the picture, it was an easy fix but yes their pictures are way off, I got them in the 12/14 inches since my hair was so short and I needed more two clip wefts to fill the front of my hair I do love the extensions. The shorter sets are cheaper in the 5 piece set

LightAndCosmia: My hair is 30inches but it is thin, but it is also black and I only wear extensions for events or when I am dressing up (so a few times a month). Given that, do you think the original quality of Zala would be worth getting the 30"? 'Cause they are pricey but I can't find anything longer than 26-28. Really great and thorough video by the way!

Bun Bell: The ZALA ice queen platinum blonde used to be white and I hat a set for yeaaaars So keeping that in mind I got another set and they literally came blue like not even silver actual blue It was so disappointing that they’ve changed their colour Because it used to be exactly as advertised

Joselin Sanchez: You seem like such a down to earth person. Love your review. I’m watching a couple videos to decide if I should go with the Zala or Bellami extensions. Thanks for the review boo ❤️

Baby Girl: Thank you for making this I always get Bellami but wanted to try something new and almost chose zalá but I’ll stick with bellami I love them ive never been disappointed with them

Rochelle Noone: Only seen your video now :) I had very dry hair extensions and looked online..so what I found and done turned out great...boil hot water and put in a lot of conditioner and dip your extensions in it without getting clips in and it revives them and puts a coating on them :)

Adriana Rammairone: Thank you for taking your time to make this video you have helped me so much. I’m upset I wasted my money on zala but it’s fine I have to dye it to but I got the ponytail. I ended up keeping them and just going to invest in another one from bellimi. Thank you !!!!

Rei-rei shinoki: Have you thought of dipping the Zala hair in Silicone mix? I heard it does wonders for reviving dry and tangly hair!

Tesla Elizabethxoxo: I could imagine how hard it is to match extensions with blonde hair and I don’t like the clip one from zala but the tape ins are pretty amazing in my opinion

Me: Idk if it’s a more recent development but Zala’s “ice queen platinum blonde” color pictures do look straight up silver now on the site. I feel like they probably got a lot of complaints about that.

M K: personally i like zala but to each their own. I like the 30 inches, i layer them to make them appear even longer but i did order multiple packs to compensate a bit.

Merina Rodriguez: Hey so I watched a few videos but still have a few questions. So what’s your fav hair clip in ? Do you prefer the boo Gotti set or the silkseamless hair extensions?

D Smith: I put nail glue at the very top along the edges to keep the hair from shedding great tutorial!

Nick Prince: I got the ZALA ponytail 26” and it is so nice but it’s very thin and I don’t see how girls can wear that without there natural hair showing through the ponytail and they make it look so thick and dense. Plus on top of that they didn’t even tell me anything bout customs fee that I knew nothing about and had to pay another 40$ when I already paid 40 some dollars for fast shipping so I was so triggered by that. The hair quality is fabulous but they need to work on there density for the longer lengths because that is absolutely absurd. People with thick hair can’t even get away with longer hair because of that issue

Heerah DeLara: I dont know but I do not like the belamis being thinner at the ends, whereas the Zala ones are thicker at the ends and looking more like healthy hair. I just hate when hair thin out at the ends.

Hello: Love these honest reviews!

Jaymie: thank you so much for this video! it was super helpful. i was thinking about trying zala for the price point but am going to stick with bellami!

Francesca D'Agostaro: The honesty!!! Big thanks, was about to buy ZALA

Meka Malice: If your reading this and need to fix the ice queen color do a bleach bath with extra conditioner and leave it a few min instead of doing a full bleach! It saves the hair from damage!

Jen O’Brien: THIS WAS SO HELPFUL!! Thank you a ton!! Xoxoxo

Cassandra Barr: I’m glad I watched your video Bc I’m mixed I’m light skinned with very thick curly hair and I was gonna get the 30 inch zalá but I’m deff doing bellami now! N your hair looks fab

Monalisa: I got the 16inch, 200grams. Great quality and tone. But not for medium or thick hair. I wanted bellami but zala had the color on match for me I’m going to try to think my ends out and see if it makes a difference. But eve if I was too order more how are all those clips going to fit on my head? Lol my hair is like shoulder length

Princess Aries: You’ve helped me more then you know and I thank you very much :)

Misty Lauren Winchester: How do you tone the Zala Beachy Blonde extensions to white blonde? I have no idea which toner to use. For my own hair when it's brassy I tone with Jerome Russell Bblonde Semi Permanent Platinum Toner or Manic Panic Virgin Snow White Toner. I also use purple toning shampoos but I'd like to straight off put a toner on the beachy blonde before adding any purple shampoos. Just not sure which toner will work best?

Claire Snyder: I wanted that grey hair with my Zala Ice Queen but they showed up with pink undertones all the pics on their website make it look cool/purple toned and mine showed up the wrong color. I want your grey toned ones

Catherine Echevarria: I'm new to your channel but did you not try their color match service? I had the hardest time finding matching extensions until zala but I also don't have blonde hair, so.....

AD Greene: Thank you so much for the video (especially 13:00). I greatly appreciate your honest review.

Brie Fletcher: I love your channel already. I can’t wait to watch your other videos. Subscribed

Tiffany Gotschall: I have watched all your zala Extensions videos, and do you use a T 18 on your hair to match the zala extensions I just ordered my fourth side of the ice queen platinum 24 inch clip extensions and the first ones I ordered were perfect I mean absolutely perfect but every since the second set they are so ashy and I’ve been watching your videos and you make the extensions blend in so nicely like your hair is gorge it is so pretty. And for some reason I think it’s because I use a hot waiver I go through aesthetics of extensions at least once a year and the ones I order or the $300 ones which is the nine piece ,Any suggestions on how to make them last longer?

Star Marie: this hair is so pretty omg ✨

Ray Long: Damn girl i am really glad I watched this vid! It’s like hair extensions 101! That bugotti 9 weft... I totally don’t wanna fuck w extensions. I don’t want the upkeep of keratin bonds/cold fusion. Plus as being a first timer I was like... Zala or belllmi. Zala has good marketing but in the end Bellami has been doing hair for so long now. If they made their clip game better theyd have fire extensions. Unarguably you know? Great vid. It took you a while to get out what you needed to say. But it was very informative. “The zala one sheds quits a bit but I guess it could be because of the bleach job I did on it . I guess but whatever.” Hahaha totally me beauty school drop out.

Kimberly G: Thanks for the info :) your very informative have you tried the halo from zala?

S Silk: I wish I knew all about undertones and hair color.

Jennifer x9000: Damn it sucks ghat you had a bad experience I love ZALA so much

Jennifer Trevino: Is Bellami thick from weft to end or does it get thin? i cant stand stringy i want it thick all the way through. im like you..my hair is very thick

Jianna Castellano: zala pissed me off so much i ordered ice queen like 3 times (im stupid) and each time they were either blue or purple

Vanessa Mcgee: so would you recommend a 613 with is like a yellow blond and just tone it?

Brandy_Lish: so I no this video is older, but I always wanted to try bellami, but I heard the quality went downnn! so have you got some in the last year or so, what kind an have they held up?? im also an extension junkie! I like my Zala seamless clips but my hair is very finesse it matches mine perfect!,but yes if your hair is thicker ,they may not work

Ms. Brown: why don't you sew the 30 inch hair in with the wig it will be a lot thicker just saying.

T G.: New sub

Jen O’Brien: Do you have a Facebook? I would love to add you! I don’t do Instagram Or I would ask for that

Sacapuntus: can we duel and if i win can i have those zala extensions haha

Elisa Elisa: thank you that was very hepful

Jesse Fernandez: Thanks for the shout out. :-)

Donna Newton: Shouldn't you color your beard to match your hair

Christina P: ARE U FKN JOKING ME???
