Comparing my Hair Secrets extensions to my Bellami extensions. Both sets are very similar, so I thought I would share the differences that I have noticed between them to help you decide which ones you might want to try!

Guys welcome back to my channel so today, as per request, I'm going to be comparing my hair secrets, extensions to my Bellamy, hair extensions. Now both of these are really great extensions. I have reviewed both of them in the past I'll, put links down below in the description if you want to check those out and they are kind of similar. So it's hard for me to say which one I would recommend or which I like better. So I am going to be comparing them, so you can see the small differences that they do have, because who knows it might be a deciding factor for you and to clear up any confusion. I am going to be comparing the fuller sets of both brands. So first, let's talk about the amount of hair on Bellamy's website. They say that the bellisima set, which is what I have here, is 220 grams and 22 inches long. I wasn't able to find anywhere on hair secrets website how much this ultimate volume set is. As far as grams, but they are 20 inches long and just from doing some google searches, I believe that originally they are 215 grams. So it's really only a difference of 5 grams, which really isn't much, but I decided to weigh them myself now, keep in mind. I have cut and layered both of these sets to have them blend in with my hair, a little bit better length wise. This is the original length that they come in. I did take off a little bit of weight from the extensions so weighing on right now. The Bellamy extensions are weighing in at 270 grams. Now, of course, I can't say for sure that I definitely cut off the same amount from each set of extensions and all that, but volume wise and thickness wise. They look pretty much the same. I would say also fullness wise. Both set of extensions are equally as thick from the top as they are to the bottom. Unlike some other extensions, they don't get super thin and wispy down at the bottom. They are just as thick and full as they are on top. Both of these are double drawn. I believe, I think, that's the term double drawn hair extensions, also, as far as how many pieces of hair you're, actually getting hair secrets, come with 7 pieces of hair, whereas Bellamy comes with 10 pieces. So with the hair secrets extensions you get 1/4 clip piece: 2/3 clip pieces, 2 clip pieces and one clip pieces with the Bellamy extensions. You get. 2 4 clip pieces, 2 3 clip pieces, 2 clip pieces and 4 one clip pieces. So although it sounds like with Bellamy, you're getting a little bit more hair because it is 10 pieces versus 7 pieces and you are getting 5 more grams of hair, keep in mind. First of all, that 5 grams really isn't a lot. The paper plate that I used to place the extensions on when I was weighing them weighs 12 grams itself for a paper plate. So five grams really is like nothing also, although yes you're getting more pieces, but that also means you're getting more clips and obviously the clips weigh a good amount. So, who knows, as far as actual like weight of the hair itself, without the clips, I think with hair secrets, you might even be getting a little bit more, and I just know me personally: I don't really use the 1 clip pieces so have it for one Clip pieces is kind of useless to me. I don't know, but I feel like thickness wise. They really are the same. You know it kind of makes up for that. Also, I feel like with hair seekers you're getting the same amount of volume and thickness as you are, with Bellamy, with less clips, which is more comfortable, I think, and since we're talking about Clips, let's just compare clips from both extensions as well as you can see. The hair secret extensions do have larger clips, which personally I wasn't a fan of at first and then the Bellamy's have just the small standard clips as far as the material that they're made of they both are exactly the same. The clips are literally the exact same thing. The only difference is the size. The way that they're sewn on is exactly the same, both really well done, and also both West's at the top have that lace bands at the top to kind of hold everything in place. So, as far as the way that the clips and everything are shown, they are pretty much the same, both really good quality. However, I kind of prefer the smaller clips personally anyway, I just feel like they stay in my hair, a little bit better, but I don't really have a huge problem with the hair secret ones. Finally, they completely slide out of my hair or anything like that, and also, although they are bigger clips, it's not like they're bulky or anything. So you know they still lay flat on my head, just like the belem used to so. If you know size of Clips is like a huge deciding factor for you just keep that in mind. Another thing that I do want to point out is that - and I mentioned this in my hair secrets - review one of the clips on my three clip piece. This middle one right here actually broke after the first time that I used it and I'm not really sure it's not. I guess I could try to like hot glue it or something I mean it's not a huge problem, because this, as you can see, is not a very wide piece of hair, so I don't even really need to use that middle clip to hold it in. So I don't know if that's just like some kind of bad coincidence or something I mean I haven't, had any problems with any of the other clips on my other pieces. It just kind of happened with this, but, like I said I mean the clips are basically the same. The quality is the same, so I guess technically. This really could have happened on any other set of other extensions. So but I just wanted to mention that, as far as the quality of the hair, like I said in the beginning, they are very very similar if it wasn't for the difference in the clips. If I had a set of hair secret extensions next to a set of Bellamy's, I don't think I'd even be able to tell the difference between them. Both are 100 % remy human hair. They are both very very soft. I don't have a big problem with shedding with either of them. I know I've seen other reviews out there, where some people ended up getting a bad set of the Bellamy extensions and they were shedding a lot. I don't know what that's about, but the set. I have is really good quality. I don't have a problem with shedding so they're, both very comparable to each other as far as quality of hair and softness, and all that I mean they are both really really really really good quality, and I have washed and used heat on both of these multiple Times so yeah as far as quality, there's no difference so now we have to talk about color selection because I feel like that is the biggest difference. With these two set of extensions Bellamy has 12 different colors to choose from for their bellisima 220 grams set like the one that I have. However, hair secrets for their ultimate volume set has 30 different colors to choose from. So that's a pretty big difference. I mean that's more than double, so if your hair is anything between black and bleached blonde and you're not really sure what color you want to get or you don't feel comfortable dyeing your extensions, I think, hair secrets might be the way to go because you're more Guaranteed to find a color that matches yours better, also, another thing that I've noticed when comparing both websites is that Bellamy's extensions seem to be on back order all the time, and ever since I went blonde a few months ago, I've been checking their website pretty frequently Because I was kind of back and forth between both companies, not sure which I wanted to go with, and I just feel like every time I check their website. Most of their extensions are on backorder, so it's probably just because they're becoming a super popular company, but I mean that's another thing to kind of consider. Another thing to compare both extensions is price and shipping both sets are two hundred and ten dollars. However, hair secrets are based out of Australia, so shipping to any country outside of Australia cost an additional $ 20 Bellamy, on the other hand, has five dollar flat rate shipping, so hair Secrets is gon na end up costing you $ 15 more than fell on me And I mean $ 15 when you're already paying like 210 for hair. I guess really isn't like that big of a difference, but it's another thing to keep in mind. Also when I ordered my Bellamy hair extensions, I received them in probably three or four days. They came very quickly. I do live on the east coast of the United States, but when I ordered my hair secrets extensions, it took two full weeks for them to reach me. So that's another thing, but considering that Bellamy keeps having their extensions on back order, it might take the same amount of time so yeah and the last difference, which too me was a pretty big deal, is when you order your Bellamy, hair extensions, and you will see This in the review, if you go and watch that they give you one piece of hair as a tester piece, I believe it's one of the two clip pieces that they give you and you can take that out of the packaging. It'S packaged separately from the rest of the bundle and you can color it cut it put heat on it, wash it do whatever you want to do to it, to make sure that you really like the hair, anything it's good quality and that it matches your hair. Color and if, for whatever reason, you aren't happy with the extensions, you can send it back and get a full refund as long as you don't open the rest of the bundle, and I think that that is genius and so helpful, because if you get a set Of extensions and it's not the right color or you feel like it just sheds too much or whatever you should be able to return it and get your money back and hair secrets didn't do that. So that's definitely one of the perks to Bellamy so yeah. I think that is everything that is worth mentioning personally, if I were to buy another set of extensions, I think that I would probably go with hair secrets just because of their huge color selection like that is a big selling point for me, but hopefully this video Kind of gave you some insights and it helped you make your decision of which company you want to go with. peacenothate: Ladies!!! Hair Secrets hair actually is around 190 grams in the deluxe set which is actually about 30 grams less than Bellami, which I personally feel is pretty significant when comparing the prices (Bellami isn't that much more.) If you have super thick hair like me, I opt for the thicker hair with more clips because the larger and less clips that are given in the Hair secrets give you less variety in freedom in how you can apply it whereas with smaller and more varied clips in the Bellami set you have more options and can individualize your application to your head, cause everyone's is different! If going for volume, not length, than maybe you can get away with it a little more.

Wow - ALSO - I just noticed ANOTHER major difference which is the SECOND main thing I asked them at BELLAMI that they do NOT have that HAIR SECRETS DOES! - TAPE IN HAIR! so there you go! kaitlin_08: Pointing out how more clips probly makes the bellami weigh more is a really good observation. Ill bet the 6 extra clips give bellami at least 20 more grams on hair secrets. Judging by this video they both look really thick though. I just ordered hair secrets because they had the color I needed, im so excited :)

Also - one difference between the two companies I noticed as well and is a deal breaker for me is that HAIR SECRETS offers what they call "multi-tonal" - blends of more than one shade - which i LOVE - and BELLAMI does not. So....thought I would add that for anyone else that cares. :)
K. Zoysia: @Samantha You can cut off that broken clip and sew on a wig clip. Its super easy. You can get wig clips in a variety of colors to match the hair. Most beauty supply stores have them.

Iliana Cruz: This is another idea I use to do when I didn't want my hair damaged I put 25 pieces permanently extensions you can do yourself btw not hard with microlink or keratin just cut off the 1 piece ones and spread them out on back and sides. Say 25 then get the clips I swear 2 weeks on no falling because the link or glue latches on so no sliding.
Sam Vay: @Brooke Nelson - Maybe they've since changed their policy, but when I purchased my Bellamis in July 2013, the packaging said you could do whatever you want (cut, color, etc.) to the tester piece and receive a full refund as long as the rest was unopened.

I'm on hair secrets website and watched a review for the "fine hair" hair extensions and according to that video it comes with: 1- 7.5“ (4 clips) 1 - 6.5" - (3 clips) 1 - 5.5" - (3 clips) 2 - 2.8” (2 clips) So, just wondering... is the only difference between this fine hair set and your "ultimate volume" one the fact that there are 2 1-clip pieces? Haley Davidson: I bought my hair secrets extensions in August of 2013 for my birthday and I got them cut to blend better with my hair. Since my hair was rather short, I had some difficulty blending them, but I got so many compliments nonetheless. Also, I wore them every day for about five months then stopped because my hair was long enough, but they still look and feel amazing. They took forever to ship to me, but the company ended up giving us free express shipping. I really believe that Hair Secrets is a great company and I wish that more people would understand that.

I just received the hair I purchased from your company yesterday and decided to wash it today with shampoo and conditioner as I do all my hair extensions that I buy brand new and the hair started shedding really bad out of every single hair piece!! I purchased this hair because of all the reviews on your website and YouTube videos and supposedly this was suppose to be one of the best hair extensions out there.. Well that is very false advertising!! And that is because I haven't even worn it yet!! I can only imagine what will happen if I try to style it with a flat iron or use styling products on it!! I am super scared to use it now.. It looked poorly put together to begin with when I was inspecting the hair upon receiving it, but I gave it the benefit of the doubt. I have been using hair extensions for 12yrs plus and I have never had this problem with cheaper brands of extensions!! I have always purchased my hair from Sally's Beauty Supply and have never had this problem..that hair has lasted me for years and I have put it through all kinds of different styling even dying the hair and have never ran into this problem.. I will be writting reviews about your hair product everywhere that I can, I am even going to make a YouTube review about it warning people not to purchase your product!! I have a picture of all the hair that fell off and will be posting that as well!! I am so very very disappointed in this product that came with high recommendations!! matinachtz: Hi Samantha, do you have any suggestions on products that give shine to the extensions like the silicone coating they have when you buy them for the first time but something that dries not like oils that tend to grab dust overtime and look dull and want to be washed again because i try to avoid washing them frequently to keep them in good condition for as long as possible :)

Lola B: Ordered the Hair Secrets extensions when they were out of stock, waited a month for them to come. When I opened the package one of the clips was broken and there were whole chunks of hair near the top that were short. When I ran my fingers through them whole pieces would come off. I got the off black set and it had random strands of blonde, red, and white hairs. Emailed the company 2 days ago but have not received a response. Very disappointed. Will not recommend.

Iliana Cruz: Well I use to do this since all of us are confused on what vendor to go with how about 2. You wants layers right? So we order the smallest amount of hair from bellami and hair secrets a color you can die w direct die which won't damage not even synthetic. Buy one 18 inch 120 grams and another 120 22 to 24 inch then get a hair topper from hair crown because it looks wack as fuk when you have tons of clips then the top of your hair looks flatter greasy next day. The hair toppers from hair crown are expensive but everyone I know that wears one in any line makes their wefts look amazing

They talk about how remy hair is considered the best etc but when talking about their hair it only say superior hair. You said in your video that both brands were 100% remy.
