Trying Zala Tape-In Hair Extensions

The time has come, the hair extensions are in and I'm so excited um. So a little bit of a back story. Um. I have order from zala before and I got the 16 inch clip-ins. I think that person sure I think it was the eight pack um and I love them at first. I was like, I cannot get these to blend, but I think it just takes time and also I had like almost a bob, so that was that was hard to blend but um. So I have had hair extensions before and I love them. So I wanted something a little more permanent that I didn't have to spend my whole life savings on um, so I did some researching and I found zala tape bins and I got them and they're here um. I think I paid around 250 for them. Actually, I think it was a little cheaper than that because I had a discount, but if I didn't have a discount it'd be like. I think I want to say I was like 2 40.. So I got the 60 pack which, if you know anything about tape-ins um, they like sandwich your hair. So two of the pieces are one sandwich, so I got 30 sandwiches and one or 60. um tape ends. So here they are. I honestly forgot what colors I got um. I was a little bit worried about getting the color right, but I figured since it was blonde um. I can tone it and yeah also I'm trying to stay away from bleaching and highlighting my hair. So I got a little darker ones, I think um, just because I'm not going to be bleaching, my hair anymore or hopefully not. I keep going back and forth, but hopefully, hopefully I'm not going to my mom is a hairstylist. So it is very easy for me to um just fall into it and do it. Okay, I got beachy blonde. I got two packs of the beachy blonde, so I got 40 of those and then one pack of the honey Beach highlights um and it came with which my um clip-ins came with this also. So it comes with like a little oil for the extensions and then a conditioner and a shampoo and the booklet. Looking at these um, it kind of feels like it's not a lot of hair, which was kind of what I'm worried about, but they are in packs. So hopefully, once I get them out of the packs, they will um look like more hair anyways, let's get them out of the pack and open them up and see what we're working with this is the beachy vlog, oh okay. So this is the warranty seal and you cannot like break this off and then return them so like if you want to color match you have to like do that with it on. I thought, they're, so soft they're, so soft next pack, foreign, oh, my gosh. I cannot wait. Okay, my gosh. This is actually a lot of hair. Not gon na lie hold on look how gorgeous. I will show you a close-up of my hair now yeah, it's nothing too special, it's pretty damaged and I did nothing to it. So it's not gon na look great but um. I will show you guys a close-up of it and the close-up of the hair extensions with it. So these are the tapes and they have like these little blue things and you peel them off, and then you sandwich the tape and a tape together and with a little bit of your hair in between and you tape them in. I'M gon na wash my hair and make sure it's all clean, I'm not going to use any conditioner or anything I'm just going to use a clarifying shampoo and then we're going to put them in. After talking with my mom, I figured, I should probably tone the hair so that it matches mine better. I then went ahead and blow dried, the hair so that it was nice and dry whenever I put them in after I did that I went ahead and got in the shower, and now I'm blow drying my hair foreign. This is my setup. It'S kind of a freaking mess, but it's okay um. I think we're gon na start, I'm nervous. I have a smear here. I think this is the first section I'm gon na start with, because if I pull it up, you can't really see the red of my fingernail. At least I can't so that's where I'm going to start, and this is what's going to look like I'm so scared. Okay, also, I didn't mention this, but I have to leave in two hours. So let's just hope that this looks okay. Let'S do this foreign foreign they're in. I can pull them up and I don't think you can see them um. I will say they are pulling a little bit, but I think that's my fault um, but yeah. I think they match pretty well all right on to the next row. Okay, so I would give you an explanation of what I'm doing. But honestly, I don't even know what I did um, but these took me two hours to put in my hair, and I know it was just because it was my first time, but I honestly didn't really go with a technique. Even though I watched multiple YouTube videos about it, um I just kind of did what worked with me um, maybe next time I will be better at it, and I can give you guys um like placement and stuff, but for now this is all I got. I have used one whole pack of one of them, the blondest ones, which I have two packs of those, and I think I've used like two of this pack, I'm just hoping I have enough um and then I have I've used about most of the darker multi-toned. One and we're going to start working on the sides. I think I'm done. I thought you could see that one. I don't know okay, this one I hate. I wish I could take it out. It'S like not okay and I might later, but I have somewhere to be so so this is it from the front. I can touch my hair behind my ears. Do all that um. I need to straighten it. It looks puffy puffy poofy. So this is that, there's this side. I can't really tuck this one behind my ear because, like I said I don't really love this side, I might take them out and redo some of them on that side. Here'S the back brush through it. I might add some more in the back. I can't decide yet I'm going to straighten them and um yeah. Then I'm going to leave because I need to um. I can do a Lopez. It looks good. I can't really do a high pony yet um. I, like put them - I put some of them way too close to the root, so I'm going to wait for a little bit for them to grow out and then I'm sure I'll be able to um. I ended up taking that one out that you've just seen and put a different one in this is the after results. I ended up trimming the ends a little bit other than that.
