Hi, I'm er Donna from boys and girls hairstyles calm. Today I have the Ashlyn with me and we are going to take an inch off of her hair. We'Ve done a video with cutting it straight across its when we first started doing videos, and I knew that it was really wet on the back. So it was really hard to see when I was trimming and was just barely barely trimming and we're gon na bring it up. You know a good inch anyway, so we wanted to redo this video to show you, so it's not so wet. I just dried it. A lot more, I just didn't - dare grab a towel during the video, so we just started: okay, I'm just gon na part it down the middle straight down the middle okay, and then I'm gon na just tilt the head down. Okay, when you do calm this down, I like to hold my own against the Cape so about right there, and just go straight above that cone. Okay, I'm just gon na go straight over to that Ginza bring this hair. I'M just gon na cut straight into that wine that guide point okay, then, when you get to the side you're just gon na tilt the head, then you're gon na comb, this straight down make sure head is up and sit up down now. Okay, just bring that to the side. Okay, so I'm gon na close this down again getting the putter head down again again, I'd like to hold the comb down there just are trying to hold that hair in place. Okay, I'll get it to the sides and lift her head. Okay tilt the head: just pull Matt down to the side. Okay, make sure again on these legs that the head is up straight, make sure to get all the hair from behind the ear. Just pull it straight down straight across okay, so you're going to comb it down and make sure that it's really straight, the cakes came anyway. Sorry in my hand, okay, now that's straight across. Hopefully, that will help you understand how to cut long hair straight across and without being too wet Thanks.

Mysteria Kiito: Thank you for the simple tutorial! I was nervous trying to cut my daughter's hair but it turned out to be simple and I did not mess it up. This not only saved us some money but also an unnecessary possible exposure to the virus. I really appreciate it.

Katie Moriarty-Hopper: Thanks very much - 4th time I've used your video to trim hair, works every time.

Jessica Long: this helped so much I watched other videos where they had like 50 steps that I was afraid to take. went to get my haircut and she did what I told her but then realized later in the day my hair was hardly cut. Gonna have my mom help me in the morning so I don't have to wait another week for an appointment.

Kenya: 0:41 that face expression. Girl I feel you

Megan Jones: I am loving all your videos!! You are AWESOME!! I have some breakage in the front of my hair(like bags that i grew out) I still want them long but i have alot of breakage from coloring it. What do u think i should do? My stylist thinks i should cut them into a short bang but i don't want that! I'm trying to find a different idea. Thanks so much!!

166PolarBear: Isn't it nice to see a hair stylist who respects her clients hair, not cutting any more than is needed, the end result looked great, amazing condition, a lucky young lady

Cathy Taylor: Can you explain why she has to tilt her head certain angles? Is it just for an easier cut?

Boys And Girls Hairstyles: I have a vdeo on cutting split ends without taking length. This video would also work for the bang area. Look at that video and see if thats something you would want to do. If I was you, I would trim the ends as often as possible and then use a styling gum like Distortion (from Ice) to use to keep the ends from looking frizzy. When you apply it it will help keep the fly aways down. I hope this helps!!!

Dana Ritter: Thankyou!

meguita souza: ADOROOOOO!!!!!!

Mary Hogue: wish you had trimed my hair instead of parlor where they went sissor happy on my waist length hair . I went for a two inch trim and they took over 8 inches off!

Kevin Hayez: how long u been growing your hair and how often do u cut your dead ends

Boys And Girls Hairstyles: THANKS!!!

Lorelle Speck: Why can't my hair dresser get this?? She always gives me a wonky hair cut. It will be longer on my left side, and she'll say "your shoulder is higher than the other." Or "it's the shape of your head." Ugh. I've spent over a year growing my hair out and I want all that work shown by having it straight across and lush. It's so frustrating. I just had a bunch of hair cut off for it to look like a shorter version if my original wonky hair.

Boys And Girls Hairstyles: The different colored shears are just for fun. They are just the same, I just LOVE the colors!! It's about a 7 tooth count. I love them just because it gives it texture but doesn't take a ton of hair out at once. It also seems to even the texture out, so you don't have huge lines where you thin or texturize. Hey thanks so much for sticking up for me! Your a really great person! THANKS!!!

Boys And Girls Hairstyles: Ya Thanks!!! Good Idea...

footprinttherap: this is far from the video but I love your shirt were did you get it from?

Jennifer cn: I love your videos

Robert Lindsey: Very awesome video, two months ago I order the same one from newigstyle..com

Glambert4777: does it make any difference in the parting and cutting if i have side swept bangs? or i still should part it in the middle for the cutting?

Hannah Elise: why does this cost $50 to get done tho lol

Debbie Miller: what scissors do you use?

Cassie Abel: How often should you trim like this if you are wanting to grow your hair?

Shaziyeh Faghirzadeh: Thanks !

oliveoyl64: I have noticed you use different colored shears on the haircuts. Are they for different textures of hair? I also noticed your thinning shears have fewer/wider teeth than the ones I have seen and used. What is the tooth count? Thanks

alyssa salazar: The lil girl's face at the end tho lol she looks like she hates her life

Katherine Ricks: On your next video you need to be more elaborate with what you are doing!!!!!

klaudya thamara: Wow

Sahilpreet Singh: hi. i m a14 year boy and have a very big forehead 5.5 cm . can you suggest me a good haircut

Red_Ranger: I think if you use criper will be better.

Maria Rib: are you seriously chewing gum while making a video?

ninja warrior 636: cassie abel this is a reply to your comment you should trim your hair every six weeks trim like one inch off and it will be very soft and healthy

GoldenYeg: "too wet" hehe

0 iq: I came from trying to use voice search to find UN Owen was her?...

miowpro: worst video i have seen haha cant see anything haha

C G: Girl...no

Philip Ring: You need to stop this!!! Leave it to the professionals!

DIY media Arts and crafts: And looks mad her face the girl

kaj siab hlub:

Eu, a Rainha e 3 princesas.: ?

Peyton Caudill: side

randomaccount productions: why did u cut a inch off her hair? her hair was already cut nicely straight across... she didn't need it

Ruby Court: That was half an inch. Even still, the ends looked dead. Her parents would have paid a lot for that haircut of hers to be done and she barely had anything trimmed off. She deserves more off, it's way too long. It needs a cut not a trim especially not a half inch one. 4inches Is what I call a trim
