Thank you so much for having these tata tats attacks, bye-bye right back at you, bye, bye, tessa tat run the guys enough suspense, let's find out who the finalists are meet. The finalists here are the first three massimo tirimako from australia, kevin kyle, lombard from canada and isatoshi osohata and naoko suzuki from japan, style and color trophy. My advice for anyone who wants to enter color trophy is to be innovative step outside the box and do something that is true to who you are. My biggest dream is to win the international style and color trophy. That'S just been a big dream of mine since i was 16 years old fingers crossed hi, i'm kevin kyle and i'm from montreal canada. I end up in this competition because i didn't win last year, so i had to do it again. My inspirations are from all around the world. My biggest dream as a hairdresser is to make my kids proud to show them that everything is possible. My mentor would for sure be minkin because she's the absolute queen of the french balleti. I think i pushed my own limits so much further, and here i already such a strong group. Let'S see if the next three finalists will slay the competition introducing adrian tavalieri from france, irina bikuskaya from russia and mark toth from hungary style and color trophy participated. I have been a hair stylist nine years. I start my career from an assistant and now i have a big salon. My inspiration is world around me is my emotions, my patience and my heart. It'S very great to be here. I'M so excited i'm very nervous, but i'm happy my idol is milking. I like her style. I like her works. I think my work could win tottenham, let's find out and see what these three finalists have to offer: angelo sinisi from italy, erica killin from the usa and christian vasquez from mexico style and color trophy milan hi, i'm erica keelan and we're in jacksonville florida. I'Ve been a hairstylist for 25 years. I know i don't look it, but botox works. My biggest dream as a hair stylist is to be known for helping others. Hairdressing is what saved me and gave me a great career. I barely graduated high school. I was always told that i wouldn't make it i am so excited to participate in the finals. I think i can win the style color trophy just because i have heart. I love this i'm here to win chris entirely, so there we have it the nine finalists for l'oreal, professional style and color trophy guys. What do you think any favorites so far? Definitely what about you, her fans? Who is your favorite? We really want to know, tell us below in the comment section run, the hair show the finalists only have four and a half hours to perfect their french balayage masterpieces on their models, talk about pressure, let's travel the world and take a look at what they're doing Style and color trophy finalists: you have four and a half hours to complete your french balayage. Are you ready three? Two one, i've only tapped, that's my first section i use blonde studio and the nine percent oxidants the finalists must start with their blended lighting. Three hours remaining and i'm gon na be fully saturating. I will be incubating it in foils just to keep the consistency i find with curly texture hair. That'S what i like to do is when i do a french, but i have i use a couple of different technique. The first one is the freehand painting. For me, it's super important because it's giving a little bit of light on the ends. French. I'Ve waited a long time to get to this point. I'M nervous this time. Normally i'm not nervous, but i am this time. I don't know why content feliz this french balayage will be very good. The grand finale continues around the hair show, while the clock is ticking. The grand finale results are nearly done so peggy we've seen the finalist at work. I hope you were taking notes. No, why do you think you can do it? No, obviously we're gon na teach you what classes in session and you're the student lucky for you. It'S french, ah cool, that's good, french, balayage! Okay! So let's go for a french balayage watch as peggy performs french balayage with the help of her favorite pros peggy's time. So where do i start? L'Oreal professional french balayage is a two-step technique. First, we have a perfectly blended lightning. Then we will follow up the second step of the french balayage, with dialyte to neutralize on the tone and to add a beautiful shine yeah, because we love shine. I am going to show you how to do the money piece. Why is it so important? It'S the piece that women see so when i have clients that come to the salon, this is where they go to the bathroom and check their hair charlie. Can you be my assistant? Women? Are them oh gosh? I love this so when i start, i pick up a small amount of product on your brush. Okay, so we want to be very neat. So this is what we call the bottom of zone one and then you continue to paint the front and i'm going to connect the corner. I have to remember to go till the end. Yes, your turn it's very complicated because i only have two hands. One check goes to the side and you manipulate with your hands. Yes, but you have this. In the other hand, yep all right so keep contact with it with the hair, then go up what no, no, no, no, no, no, no you're ruining her application assistant now. Put this onto and this actually sticks and then you can put it onto the planchette, but that doesn't work with me. That'S nice, though voila not so bad, and i think my job is better than you actually. I think so too, all right now that your trial is complete. I have prepared a finished balayage doll head for your next step, which is turning uh what's stunning again seriously after three episodes, you still don't know. What'S turning can i mix it? Yeah put the finger here. Okay, let me play this okay, all right finish. Yes, so you take section by section: okay and you always do zigzag yeah. Why? Because it puts the same amount of product everywhere. I love it, because you do everything with your hand. I want to try definitely best man, you can i go yes, you can go okay, i'm a bad student now and now the massage nice girl yeah. That was so hard. I'M not sure you will give me my certificate, maybe in the next episode it's clear. You tried your best. I gave my best, but i have the best teachers ever and you over there. Please don't try to do it at home. Go to your hair pros! It'S better believe me run the hair show we are just minutes away from crowning, the winner of l'oreal professional style and color trophy now, only nine finalists remain in the running, and time is almost out style and color trophy with one hour remaining. Will our finalists be able to complete their french balayage in time? This stage is very important because we are making a color as a final result. I just want my model to feel pretty to feel empowering. I just want her to feel herself. I love french bellyache because it gives me a natural glossy finish, making sure the conditioner really really sat on the hair. I think i will be on time. Finalists time is running out. 10. 9. 8. 7. 6. 5. 4. Three, two one. We just did this style and color trophy everybody. It'S time the nine finalists have put their finishing touches on their french balayage to make sure everything is just right time to deliberate. Okay, guys it's time of deliberation. Are you ready, i'm ready it's time, derek joy. Are you ready over there? Let'S do it come home with me, let's go and see the work of erika. I will speak with my heart here. That'S one of my favorite one, because i think it's very fresh. As there is movement it looks like flash dance. I do love the air, i love the application. I love the color, but in terms of an overall styling thing it could have been much more dynamic. It'S dynamic. I don't think it's dynamic enough help me on this. I agree with you. Thank you min number one. What i love is that they actually left the natural formation of her hair, and i think the styling is beautiful. It'S chic, she's young she's, fresh, it's natural. I think she did a great job as far as making sure that she didn't damage the integrity of the hair. That is a positive for her, so charlie wait one! Second! If i base it on the air and on the airstrike, it's one of my favorite. If i just wait good point, so we stay with that, and the next candidate is mark from hungary. I don't see a balayage, there is one, but i would like to see a bit more for french valley competition. I like the lightning and the toning. I think it looks great, i would have loved to see a little bit more of a messier look with that color, but i love the wave. So it looks great. I love the tone of the finish. I think that the the look is nice, so you love the final look, don't put words in my mouth and i don't really see as much. I think. Maybe if the wave was a bit looser, we would see more and it's nice sometimes to see a balayage on straight air, because you actually see the application. Dining is clearly too much here. It looks very set. Yes exactly for me yeah. I just want to take my hands and shake it up a little bit for the next candidates. Let'S stay in france and let's see the work of the cutie cutie adrian. Well, i thought his application was beautiful joey. What can you tell me about the lightning rod? The toning i thought worked well with the base that wasn't an overly done contrast. I think it's nice there's a really lovely gradient. I like the color, i'm not a big fan of the styling. Why there is something missing into it, or maybe it's not the right style for this model, we'll all agree that the hair should be shorter right. Yes, next, let's travel to australia. I really like it. I love the application. I love the color of the styling. Oh, it's beautiful. I just love the simplicity of it. Joey tell me that you love it. Please the color just complemented it didn't look overdone if that makes sense. I don't really know if i'm getting out, but i agree. I love this i'd say this is so transformative. She actually looks 10 years younger. That'S why i have short hair. It'S to look younger. I love the final picture in french. We say just spot on exactly wrong candidates. Let'S discover the final look of angelo from italy. The final result to me was more tone on tone and it wasn't as extreme. I probably would have waited or maybe preferred it on a darker base when i needed to get more lift okay, charlie. There is a big difference to me between the video and the pictures in the results yeah. What'S about the hair, styling derek i actually like it. I love that wave right around her eyes. I feel, like i see more dimension in this final picture. The hair looks very natural. It'S a very soft, muted. Look, okay next up mexico baby. For me, that's more of an extreme lightening! I do like that. It'S getting much brighter to the ends on another and the application is very harsh. Okay, interesting, i mean, i think christian did a great job of exemplifying why french balayage is great with layered hair, so he did a great job with creating that transformation. Derek. Do you agree with me and charlie? I do agree with charlie as far as it's very highlighted, i feel like the styling doesn't show the color perfectly. I would have styled it a little differently so that we could actually see more of the color. Let'S see, i totally agree. I wish that some of these uh finalists would have did more of just a beautiful blowout agree. Let'S see the work of irina from russia. Actually i like how naturally looks mean i also like it. I think that it's very soft it looks seamless tuning is nice. Very subtle i like it. Maybe we can talk a little bit about the hair styling, so it's finished, but it's not overdone which is nice, so i think everything works really well, wow, that's a pretty good finalist! We have here now the lightening and the toning here. Wasn'T really that impressive? If i didn't know any better, i would not really know a lot of what she did. Not every woman wants to have this huge transformation. They just want to enhance what they already have. I do love the gloss. I do love the shine. So that i will give her compliments on, but i don't feel a lot of difference in from where she started. Can i have your opinion about the photo results? The overall finish is really beautiful, totally agree. Okay, now, let's see the work of kevin from canada, the lightning is very interesting. Now here derek, i love the way it complements her eyes and her skin. I love the placement the tones that are playing together work together. There is a huge difference, a really well done, work in terms of balayage, because it looks very natural totally. I thought her base was actually much darker than what i see in the before. Oh my god, so you agree on something weird. Yes, oh my god. Oh god, it's like a miracle. Today the styling is great yeah. I would have to take a bit of the length off. It will be a bit more dynamic, it's polished, but it's not overdone, which is probably one of my pet peeves. I agree with me and i love the looseness of it uh, okay and finally, let's go to japan, and this is a duo i feel like. If i look at the back picture, there is no enough gradient, it's a bit too harsh and it's a bit tricky to me. Okay. Why, when i want to see a barish, i want to see a nice gradient. Okay, derek! What do you think i like the lightning i like the toning, i love the way it looks from the back joey. Can you tell us about the turning please i disagree with both of them. I think that the back looks better than the front. So for you it's a french balayage. It looks more french than some of the other candidates, but i do agree. Maybe the gradient with the gloss could have muted it a bit more. I would have preferred a little bit more uniform curl, but i think it looks looks great okay, so it seems like deliberations, is over derek julie. Have you met up your mind? Do we all agree yeah we're ready, but this is definitely harder than what i thought it would be. Um yeah, that's true joy. Thank you very much to all the candidates, because you did an amazing job really before we reveal the grand winner of the 65th style and color trophy, let's find out who you hair lovers, voted as your favorite french balayage.
