Sleek Bun Tutorial | Dionne Crowe

Hi guys welcome back to my channel welcome back to a new video. Today'S video is gon na, be a super quick, easy mini. Why do I have to use about ten describing words to describe everything in my life and it's gon na be a quick tutorial on how I do my low sleek, but I get so many times about this on Instagram all the time and it did do a Little mini tutorial on my Instagram, but I thought I do want a new tube as well. What you're gon na need for it is a hair brush. This one is from look fantastic and it's the Kent hair brush, and I use this to really sleek it down. The hair, then I've also got just a normal hair brush that I used here today, some gel and some hairspray. This look. It'S like my go-to for dr3 after hair wash when it's starting to look a bit greasy. Your curls have dropped out. It'S looking a bit. Scratchy and you want it to still look sleek and nice, often to be honest, when I got out the showroom dry, my hair, if I just want my hair on my face, I will just wear this hairstyle for a whole week. It is literally my go-to and there's like three different variations, which I often mix between as well. For these for this one look as such um, so yeah, let's get into the video. So the first thing I'm gon na do is using my hands, just bring my hair up into a kind of mid Pony. Don'T worry about the bumps that braid doesn't matter, I'm just gon na then grab my normal hair brush and start brushing it into place. I'Ve left the little part in in the center and I'm using the hair brush to like sweep it to the side and back we're not completely back more. As I said, if I come closer to the side and back straight back on them sides and then when it gets to the top of your head, just pushing it straight back again, don't worry about the bumps. I just don't my hands, I'm gon na just pull it all in to a pony and keep using the brush just to go over and smooth any bum and gay, or into the perfect height and patan. For you, what certain that I'm going to grab my hair bubble and pop it in to a mid pony, I think so so one of the fact that and you've got it in a pony and it's already looking quite sleek and boom free, I'm swimming this camera Up slightly actually so you can see the book there we go. I'M then gon na go in with my Ken to smooth them brush. Actually, this is a men's brush, but we're using it to get that sleek bun and then just gon na go over what I've done just really smooth the know, any bumps, I'm bringing in all the baby hairs. So this is where I will then grab my gel and start smoothing down the hair, making sure it's secure. I use the L'Oreal Paris in busy hold natural 24 hours. Clear gel this I've just found is the best for keeping my own place, but not making it look too gel to the point where it's like whoa you're getting on. This is just a good level. Literally, a pea-sized amount on my finger, rub it into my hands and start going over my hair. I always make sure to get the bits just next to my ears. That'S why they tend to come out and stick out doing the top I'll go ahead and add more. If I feel like it needs it again, just a little pea-sized amount. You can always add more so start little and then just keep adding to the bits where you feel like it needs it. That is the gel in so at this point you could either leave this as a pony. Mine'S still got a couple of loose curls in, but I mean it's starting to look a little bit naughty in. Do a hair wash so probably wouldn't leave in a bubble for today. I'Ve also plotted it before, which looks really cute and sometimes I'll just leave it. Like that and then my curlers through the end, so it has like a bit of a nice curl to it, but we're gon na do the bun today. So so I'm just gon na grab another hair bubble, put that around my wrist and then start twisting the hair and wrapping it around the ponytail rocky bobble around to secure it in place. Now I really like leaving this little Tufte bit. I don't know why. I just think it looks like cute and vintagey, so I like to leave out, obviously by all means, took it in and then just grab another pair, my walks. I like it to feel extra, secure and tight and do the same and go over it like so, and I will then drop mine Smith and I push again just go over what I've done and making sure it's all in place, and that is literally as easy. As it is, and then just grab my hairspray, this is the market freeze hold hairspray. I really really like this and spray it around the front under this bit here if you've got any baby hair, so you've got short hair just clip these bits into place. Go for the bun, and that is the tria. It'S so easy guys. I get so many messages about it once you get the hang of it and you know how to work with your hair length and your hair texture it'll, just calm the second nature.
