Hey guys welcome back to my channel here in this channel. We talk about relax, take care, hair, growties, predative, styling and so much more concerning the hair topic in general. So if you know you're interested in this type of content, consider subscribing to train your family and, yes, i decided to use a different look today. You know just to spice things up so in today's video, i'm back with another episode of the real estate q and a and, if you're new here don't mind the way my hair looks i'm going to take out these braids in a few days. In two days time - and i'm going to be posting that video so make sure to stay tuned for that. So the first question says: when are you going to relax your hair? You know what i've gotten this question so many times. It keeps popping up my comments and all that, and i keep saying the same thing. Maybe those that are asking now are probably new here, so i'm just going to answer for the sake of everyone. The truth is, i don't have a specific date in mind for when i'm going to relax my hair, i'm currently 10 months, post relaxer, and this is the counting because i don't know when i'm going - to relax my hair. Yet, like i said but like i said in one of my previous videos, i think two videos back. I think i told you guys that since i was at 10 months, i was having the feeling of stretching to one year as two years extra to just make it more interesting. So i'm considering that as well. So the way things are going, i think i'm going to stretch to it. Yes, so meaning i'm going to relax my hair in about two months time but, like i also said in that video i'm currently waiting for something, and if that thing comes before the two months i might relax. But if it doesn't, then i'm gon na relax at a year. Don'T say that gives me so much excitement. You know stretching my hair for one year. I never thought i would be able to do this, but you know here we are so, let's just see how it goes so i hope i answered your question. I don't have a specific date in mind, but from the way i'm feeling right now, probably a yeah. So that's it so the next question says: when are you going to take down your protective style? Okay, i've only just presented yourself for almost two months now, a few days to make it two months, and i told you guys at the beginning of this video that i'm going to take them down in a few days so yeah i'm going to take my protective Style down in two days and after i take down that to start a hair growth challenge, it's case you are new here you can watch my previous videos where i talked about the 30 days. I will challenge we are going to be embarking on so make sure to get prepared for that challenge. So that's it! I'M taking this protective style down in two days time, at which time the protective style will be about two months old and for two months. I think i have a lot of new growth anyway. I'M gon na talk about that in the takedown video. So let's just continue so the next question on the list is: how do you take care of your edges? Now? I don't know how to answer this question because i don't have a particular routine for my edges, and this is how my edges are looking currently, so i've always had full edges from when i was little like. I didn't really struggle with edges, so i've not really had any issues with my edges, no matter the protective style. I did whether wigs cornrows crochet there were times. I even did tight protective styles and i don't think my edges were affected, so i've not really had a problem with my edges. I'Ll say: one of the factors here is genetics, but outside that the routine i use for my edges is the same routine. I use for my hair the same protective styling. I make sure to get my edges as possible when i'm installing the protective style, but this relative style is quite old, like i said two more, so that's why my edges are kind of out. So, coupled with the protective styling, every other thing, like i said, is the same. Like i moisturize my edges when i moisturize my hair, meaning, i don't moisturize my edges that frequently because, as you guys know, i moisturize my hair very rarely, especially when i'm in long term 30 style during my entire duration, like during the whole two months of being On this protective style, i never moisturized my hair many. I never moisturized my edges as well, so i only moisturize my edges when i'm moisturizing my hair, i make sure i get my edges when i'm conditioning. I also make sure to get my edges when i'm relaxing now relaxing your edges may not be a form of hair care when trying to preserve your edges, because some people have sensitive edges and when they apply relaxer, they can get breakage. But i'm just saying everything that i do on my edges, whether good or bad so like i said, i've never really had a problem with keeping my edges. So when i relax my edges, there is usually no problem so yeah, that's it. I don't have a special routine for my edges. I just include my edges when carrying out the normal routine for my hair, i don't even use gel on my hair. I use it very very rarely. I think that since i started my hair journey, i've used gel on my edges. I think not more than five times so i really use gel on my edges and, if you're new here, let me just quickly say this that this is just my hair. There is no extensions, no attachment whatsoever. I never want to see how i install these braids by myself. Yes, i actually installed them myself i'll make sure to link the video down in the description box below so that you can check it out. So, let's move on to the next question, so the next question is you promised us a nice routine? When is it coming out? Okay, guys, i'm so sorry about this. I know i promised you guys a nice routine like a nice time routine for my hair care routine whatever, and this video is long overdue, because i know i promised you, i think, over a couple of months now, like it's been so long, but i didn't forget About it, okay, so i really have a planner for my youtube videos, and i have a list of videos in mind that i'm supposed to do so. The ninth time routine, is included in that video. So don't worry. That is definitely going to be coming out, because it's definitely still in that list why i have not filmed that video yet. Is that yet, is that i am actually waiting for me to relax my hair before i show you guys how i care for my hair at night, when my hair is not repetitive, because obviously i can't show you guys right now, because my hair is currently in Productive styles and it has been in productive style for the past 10 months. So my plan was to film the routine after i relax my hair and show you guys, but it's so unfortunate that the relaxer day was pushed forward. But that video is definitely going to be coming out so make sure to stay tuned. Because there's really not much going on for my next routine for my hair currently, because my hair is always in positive styles and at night, like i told you guys, my braids are always under my recaps. I usually take them out only when i'm doing a video. So after filming this video, i'm going to put them back under my wig cap and then put on my wig and go out so at night. My hair is on down my wake up as well, and i just sleep with it like that. It may not be the best, because i actually noticed that we curves have a drain effect on your hair compared to bonnets. So i'm just trying to see i mean switch back to using when it's while sleeping later on. But for now my hair is always under my makeup. So when i relax my head, i'm going to come back and show you guys my hair care routine at night when my hair is not in protective style, so be patient with me, because that video is definitely going to be coming out. So, let's move on the next question is: if your hair is mostly in protective styles, why don't you do natural hmm? If my hair is always in protective styles, why don't i go natural okay? Now it does not matter your hair type, whether natural or relaxed, your hair can always be in protective styles. It just depends on your preference understand. Protective styling is the best way and i always recommend this is the best way of low manipulation when it comes to hair care. No, but low manipulation is the best. Is the key when caring? Okay, let's say is the second, because i always said you know, but one thing for caring for your hair is to listen to your hair, because your hair is going to tell you what it needs is the best teacher of hair care for you, because everyone's self Is different and your hair is going to always tell you always scream at you what it needs. So that's the first thing i always say to be kept in mind during your hair journey or during haircare in general. So now the second thing will be low manipulation and potential styles are the best way of doing that. So it's not a matter of whether i'm relaxed or not and with my hair protective styles, why shouldn't i go natural? First of all, i am not going natural because i prefer being relaxed. I'Ve always been a relaxed girl. Both hair types can be healthy, both hair types contrive just that you have to care for different hair types differently. So why don't? I stick with the one that i like and i'm more comfortable with, because i have a lot of texture in my hair. If you've been watching my videos, you know that even though i'm relaxed i have a lot of texture on my hair and even at this point sometimes you still get difficult happy to deal with the texture of my hair. I know that if you are new here - and you don't understand what i'm talking about, you can check out my previous videos and see that even even with my relaxed nature, i still get a lot of shrinkage. I know that so i'm just imagining, if i'm not sure, although my hair care would be different, if i'm natural but nah, i just prefer being relaxed, i've always been a relaxed girl, i'm in love with it. I don't know if i'm going to go natural later in the future, okay, but for now i am sticking with being relaxed, so i hope i was able to answer your question. It'S just a matter of preference i prefer being relaxed. That is why i am relaxed. Even though my hair is always in protective styles, so let's move on the next question says: how do you manage to retain a lot of texture, even though you are relaxed now i would say there are a lot of factors concerning this. I don't know if i'll make a detailed video about this, but i was going to give a summary of how my hair is equal to retain a lot of texture when i'm relaxed. One of the factors is genetics because genetics can actually play a role in the texture of your hair, but you can increase the texture of your hair. You can decrease the texture of your hair depending on your hair practices, for example, when i'm relaxing my hair, i don't leave on the relaxer for wonderly recommended time, which is usually stated on the relaxer kits, so i usually don't come out with over processed hair when You have over processed hair, your hair is more likely to lose its texture, so i make sure when relaxing my relaxer is on for the recommended time. I don't go beyond that apart from some few times, so no one is perfect, but most of the time i don't go more than the recommended time. Plus my hair is always in productive styles, so this means my hair is at less risk of getting damaged and losing its texture, because one of the things that can actually decrease the texture of your hair is damage over time due to friction due to over manipulation Or that so protective staining has actually helped me a lot in retaining the texture of my hair. So these are some of the factors like just a summary of some of the factors that helped me retain my length, even though i'm relaxed um, if you guys, need a detailed video about this, please make sure to leave that in the comment section down below and I'Ll make sure to film a video for you guys, even though it's hard to deal with texture, sometimes i'm happy at the same time, because having a lot of textual in your hair is a sign of healthy hair. So you don't have to lose the texture of your hair just because you are relaxed. If your hair is meant to have texture, it will retain its texture, whether you are relaxed or not, and if your hair does not genetically has a lot of texture in it. In the first place, it may not really have so much texture after you relax it, so it just depends on the type of hair you have originally before you go in with the relaxer. So, let's just say, the texture i have right now is the most appropriate and healthy texture for my hair right now in its relaxed state, so meaning, if i try to get my hair more straighter than this i'll, actually be damaging my hair. So it boils down to how your hair is genetically in the first place and how you relax your hair, like your relaxer practices and your hair care practices after your relaxer routine, and all that so yeah guys. That'S it for this little q and a if you have any questions you want me to include in my next q a please make sure to drop them in the comment section down below and i'll make sure to include them in my next q, a so yeah Guys, if you watch this video at this point, thank you so so much don't forget to give this video a big thumbs up. Please subscribe to join your family. If you are new here and don't forget to turn on the post notification bell so that you'll be referred to get notified whenever i post a new video, so yeah guys, that's it for this video! Thank you! So so much for watching and see you in my next video bye, you
