Wolf Cut| Style It With Curtain Bangs

Hope you enjoy this video, it's a sequel to my home haircut video, which is linked below. If you're interested in plastic rollers, or velcro rollers I recommend going to your local beauty supply store. 2.5-3 inch rollers would be appropriate for bangs.

Hi everyone it's little lips and welcome back to my channel today, i'm going to be showing you how i style, the wolf cut that i did a few weeks back now. I just happened to cut my hair a few weeks ago, myself and if you haven't checked out that self haircut, video i'll link it down below, and i got a request to show how i style that haircut, what you're going to need to style. This look are either velcro or plastic rollers, something to secure those rollers and then you're either going to need a blow dryer or a flat iron. I use both, but i think if you have one you might not need the other i'm going to proceed with the first step, which is making sure that your bangs are going to get that swoop and wave, and to do that, i use velcro rollers. But i actually even prefer the plastic rollers that i'm going to link down below just because those already come with a grip to secure the rollers in place and also the plastic rollers have less chance of tangling your hair. But these are the rollers i have. So that's what i will be using today so first take your hair, brush and brush out your hair. Make sure it's not tangled. Now you can do this wet or dry. If you do it dry, you'll probably have to apply some sort of heat source to make sure that curl holds. If you do it wet, you can just let it air dry and will dry with that curl in there. My hair is kind of damp. I washed it over an hour ago and my hair's kind of thin, so it's already dried out a lot, but i'm gon na be applying heat to it anyway. So take a section of your bangs use, the roller and roll from the ends to the root. Now i'm going to secure this in place with a clip. This is what it should look like and it's fine. If it's not perfect, you get the general idea and i'm only going to do this for the hair. That is part of my bangs and then, if i have any rollers left the rest of my crown, i'm not going to do this to the bottom of my hair and i'll. Tell you why and it's because velcro rollers like this, it's so easy to tangle your hair. So if you're the long parts of your hair you're wrapping it around multiple times, it's easy to like get a tangled and have a tough time getting this roller out. So i'm just gon na do it to the crown. If you have plastic rollers, you could do it to the rest of your hair. It just really go. It really depends on how curly of a look you want way, i'm using two inch rollers. I really wouldn't go much longer than that, like. I think that your bangs really shouldn't be that long, that you're gon na need something beyond a two inch roller. I think this one's two and a half - and this is two inch - this might be two and a half. This might be three, actually, maybe i don't know but like i think these two sizes are okay, anything bigger like that would just be silly. I'M gon na do the other side. Okay, so i've all only really done the crown of my head and now i'm actually gon na. Let it sit in a little bit just because my hair is still kind of wet, so i think that will work for me. Okay, my hair has been in the curlers for like 10 minutes, but i'm going to show you what i would do if, like you, didn't roll your hair until it was completely dry, because if you rolled it while i was wet, you probably can skip like the Blow drying stuff, but since i rolled mine, while they were like kind of dry, i'm just gon na blow dry it to really keep the curl in place. Hmm, okay, see what i mean by like the velcro rollers can kind of like tangle your hair. Oh, take this out, it's giving me like a little volume at the crown which is like what i want. Of course, this would have been better if i had like more clips to secure, but i only really have these two clips. I always lose all my clips. So i decided to secure the two in the front, which is the most important to overall look so and, as you can see, it has worked pretty well. These two pieces of hair have that swoopy look like we're going to want to like make it a little more subtle than this. But okay, since some of my the rest of my hair is still a little bit damp, i'm going to like blow dry it and like this is a great chance to blow dry the hair upside down so that i can inject more volume. So i'm going to do that real, quick! So after blowing dry, my hair upside down and just running through my fingers through my bangs a little bit, it's loosened up that curl and already i'm starting to get that. Look that you guys saw in my first video. But there's one additional step, and that is, i usually curl it a little bit at the ends just to give it a more polished, look and fyi. I don't use any product in my hair or anything like that, just because my hair gets so greasy so easily. I don't want that additional buildup weighing down my hair as the day goes on, so i don't use any product, no hairspray, although if you want to you, can definitely incorporate that okay, so i'm gon na let this heat up a little bit and then i'll come Back and show you guys what i do alrighty i'm back. This is heated up nice and toasty. I'M gon na actually adjust it down a little bit now make sure your hair is brushed and smooth. Take this pin these back for now. Take this get a section of hair curl it away from your face. Now these pieces are like swooping back away from my face instead of like swooping in towards my face. That'S what we want away from your face see see how that looks: alrighty gon na let the bang down you know what i'm actually realizing. I think that my bangs could already use a trim. I guess this is one of those haircuts that are kind of like high maintenance and there you have it. It'S pretty simple, now add as much volume as you like and yeah simple tools, rollers, something to secure the rollers, either air drying or a heat source and then to curl the rest of your hair, either a round brush and a blow dryer or a flat iron. Like this or a curling iron, just very simple, accentuating the flips of the wolf cut. Thank you for watching this short video and if you haven't checked out my haircutting video video go check that out. Thank you. Talk to you guys later bye,
