90’S Inspired Hair Tutorial : Half Up/Half Down Hair Flip + Swoop Bang | Nabeauty Hair

Hey y'all welcome back to my channel, so in today's video, we're gon na be doing a 90s inspired hair tutorial featuring this full lace, wig from my Beauty hair. So if y'all are interested in seeing how I achieved this, look then keep watching. So, as you guys can see, I've already laid my wig down off-camera using my got to be free spray, and I were just gon na jump right into styling it. So the first thing I'm gon na do is start mapping out where I want my swoop to be so. I'M taking this rat tail comb and I'm parting, the wig and I'm just making sure that I have it right where I want it to be, because I don't want the swoop to be too far over, so I'm just making sure that it's in the correct spot. So now that I have where I want my part to be, I'm gon na take my small hot comb, and this is by the brand Annie and I'm just gon na start flattening the hair all around the wig. So now that I have the hair laying flat, I'm gon na go ahead and take a clip and just separate the bang from the rest of the hair, just to kind of move it out of the way and get it out of my face. So now I'm gon na take my free spray and, as I can see, I'm just laying down my lace a little bit more, just to make sure it's nice and secure and then I'm about to start creating a small swoop, baby hair, just one loop. Okay. So now that we're done with that, I'm gon na start pulling the hair up into a ponytail, so yeah, as I stated earlier in the video. This is a full length week, so right here, I'm just trying to figure out how much hair I want it to put up into the ponytail. So once you guys figure out how much you want to add to the ponytail and how much you want to leave hanging down, then you can go ahead and jump on to the next step, but y'all. At this point, I was kind of trying to figure out how I wanted it to be so yeah, so once I finally got it to where I wanted it to be, I did notice that it wasn't laying as flat as I would have liked. So I just went and grabbed that hot comb again and just started pressing out the roots just to make sure it was laying as flat as possible before I pulled it up into the ponytail. So now that I have the hair laying flat, I'm gon na take my scrunchie and start pulling it up into a ponytail, so y'all for this stuff. You want to make sure that you are tying the ponytail really really tight, okay y'all! So at this point, I'm just checking the wig out and making sure it's laying exactly how I want it to we're almost done and we're gon na move on to the swoop. But before we do, I just want to make sure that the wig is laying right, and I want to make sure this swoop is exactly how I want it to be, and one last time I'm just running the hot comb through the swoop. Just to make sure it's gon na lay as flat as possible before I pin it back. Okay. So now I'm just gon na take the spool and I'm gon na, pin it back using two jumbo bobby pins and y'all. Whenever I am doing my swoops, I always like it too late a little bit over my eyebrow, so right here, you're just gon na see me making sure that that swoop is gon na lay exactly the way that I want it to so now. I'M just gon na take a little small piece of the ponytail and I'm just gon na wrap it around the scrunchie and use bobby pins to secure it. So right here, y'all, I was kind of filling myself because I felt like the wig looked really really good. As is like, I feel like you could totally just wear this as a style without adding the flips, but I wanted to go ahead and complete the look. So I went ahead and grabbed my Flatiron, and this is my conure infinity Saturn and I'm just gon na press out the hair bone straight. So now the moment that we've all been waiting for so y'all honestly, the flips is the easiest part of the entire tutorial. Okay, so all you're gon na do is just take your flat iron and you're. Just gon na run it through your hair, as you normally would and then once you get to the end you're gon na twist, it upward, like you, see me doing now, and then it's gon na create a nice little curl. So I went ahead and threw on lashes and I'm gon na go ahead and put on some lip gloss to complete the look and then I'm going to just make sure that everything is sitting the way that I want and then y'all.
