I really love this stuff. I put it on the kids before they go to school, too, back to the reason why we're here I went to Sally to go, get that chase and comb and when I walk in, they have this beautiful display. So I went ahead and bought it, and I want to try it because I've always wanted to try the um, the Dyson air wrap one honey, the price this is by ion. Oh, my God look at it. It is cute. Okay, oh, it comes with a diffuser for nice curls and then it comes with it's a left and a right barrel and it comes with the blow drying tip. I I really really wish it came with a comb instead of this. That would have been ideal because, because for us people of color we don't want to put the brush no the hair brush while we're drying our hair. So a comb would have been better um Iron if anything just make a comb attachment. So some of us can pick it up and use it as well. So I'm going to use this and see what it's like. I took down my extensions, so I'm gon na take down my braids we're gon na wash it in the same breath. I also went to Ulta to me up on my olaplex product and the reason why I went to Sally was this comb. Why do they wrap these products so tightly it's like they don't want us to use it. I almost gave up on using uh intensive Bond building hair treatment. This one primes repairs strengthens and protects all hair types. This one, that's number zero apply slowly to dry, hair Distributing evenly from root to tip hair should be damp, but not drenched. Leave on for 10 minutes for someone like me, there's no way this is gon na dampen my hair, so I always end up adding a little bit more water to my head. Okay, so I got my water and my spray bottle we're gon na drench, my hair. I also like wearing gloves with this process because of how the product essentially doesn't get stuck on my hands and it Glides onto the hair way better number three they've made it a bit more watery. I think yeah, it's a little bit more watery now than it was before I didn't used to run down like this. Follow plus, is changing on us. It doesn't smell the same anymore. This is not the Original Scent of it. They'Ve changed it. It didn't used to be this light. It used to be a lot thicker to where I ended up having to. I would put it in some water that way I can get it spread evenly on my hair. I would still do the same I'll, probably come back when my hair is already washed and conditioned, and all of that so three days after I washed my hair, I feel like my scalp has calmed down enough for me to go ahead and blow it out. We'Re gon na try not the iron Luxe air wrap system. I feel like I'm cheating a bit, because my hair is not wet doing this, which, in my opinion, is okay, I'm gon na be blowing it out each twist at a time. This is that air wrap Styler, the all the attachments go over here. Let'S go ahead and turn on and see what kind of sound it makes first things. First um it blows hot air and it blows cold air. What is the difference between this and a regular blow? Dryer? I don't know I thought these things were only supposed to use like cold air to like dry, your hair and stuff, like that, it's blowing hot air very much like um like a blow dryer would so I don't know what the difference is supposed to mean here. Okay, let's go ahead and turn on I'm gon na turn it on the middle one; okay. So when it's flashing red, it means that it's blowing hot air and then, when it's flashing cold, it means that it's blowing cold air, but either way to me right now. First Impressions this literally feels like a regular blow dryer. I was expecting something completely different from from a regular blow dryer. This is gon na, be a tough one. Um I'm gon na use a comb, so I cannot use a blow dryer. I can't do it. I tried, I cannot do it so I'm gon na use my my Revlon brush um blow dryer situation. It comes down to not being able to use the hair brush with my hair because of my hair texture, it's difficult for me to pull it with the blue. It'S going to rip my hair to shred, let's go ahead and try one of the curling attachments. I want to know whether or not it acts like a regular curling iron or not in order to remove the attached tip, there's a little knot. You push it and you just pull this off and that's how you release okay. So this is one of the attachments it's very Hollow on the inside. This feels like a little metal kind of plate, and then it tells you the direction that it goes in. We'Re gon na go ahead and attach it the only thing it says it automatically wraps your hair, but it's not moving. So how do I make it? Move, I'm gon na watch a YouTube tutorial and I'll. Come back welcome to YouTube University. Okay, so I went to YouTube University and I watched Christina aranilla. She said you can hold it up. It doesn't work very well this way, because the air pushes pushes it away, which you guys saw right, so she suggested hold it down like this, and then you feed the tip of your hair and the barrel does not spin what spins is the air movement is Actually going in circle and that's what wraps your hair around okay! So let's go ahead and try it out mind you! The barrel does get hot, so don't touch it! We'Re just gon na press that button over here. That says curl a little bit okay! So it's essentially blowing your hair like, instead of just using heat, only it's using heat and air. So if you're, someone who wants more volume to your hair - and you want that air to be able to like get in there to fluff everything up, this is good. It doesn't only use air because this thing gets hot, so you're still applying heat to your hair, but it's heat and air, okay, not just heat by itself. This is what I got so because I have coarse hair. I cannot blow curl my hair. I can't blow curl my hair when it's when it's damp, because it's not gon na come out. Okay, I have to straighten my hair a bit it before. I can do this okay, so let's go ahead and demo one more time, okay, so that was 10 seconds, and that gives this kind of a curl. It'S very loose, wavy kind of curl like if you want something tighter we're gon na have to get a barrel. That'S smaller than one inch it's gon na get very loose curls, which for me, is gon na drop. You know it's cute, my hair is dry. It feels very fluffy. It doesn't feel it doesn't have that crunchy. I just curled my hair. Look to it because of like the air on it, but number two, it feels very bouncy and it's actually it feels very nice. It doesn't feel like I put heat on my hair at all. If somebody who wants like your curls to last even longer you're, definitely gon na, have to let it sit on your head a bit longer um. One thing that I also realize is that, because it's blowing hot air, when it's trying to curl your hair, don't hold that attachment too close to your scalp, because, although you might not be touching your scalp with the barrel, the heat from the slits, when you can Burn you that one too, so if you're gon na use it try to hold it away from your scalp like this. It'S just. I don't know it's not giving me the kind of curl that I was trying to achieve with heat. So, oh so we're just gon na leave it alone um. It was a nice experiment and if you're somebody who doesn't have my hair texture and you have a silkier texture - you're definitely going to be able to use this, and it will definitely work for you. But it's actually what 30 days two days since I try to use that blow dryer and the curler. I went ahead and decided to do this. Instead, I look like um one of the Star Wars characters, but that's: okay! That'S! Okay! Um! I decided to do this because I know this is heatless. I know that a curl, actually it curled my extensions. I wanted to see what it looked like on my hair. I don't want to say natural hair because I know somebody's gon na be like your hair. Is not natural? I want to see what it looked like on my hair as an alternative to using the hair wrap that actually uses both air and heat, and I feel like it's almost the same as a regular um curling iron on your hair, which will still put heat on Your hair, so instead of doing that, I decided to do this, so we can see if this is a good alternative for our hair. I'Ve never seen anybody do this on their natural hair. So that's why I want to go and try it. Okay, guys I'm going to go ahead and separate the back. I think I may have done smaller wraps. That gave me more volume and decided bigger wraps and it gave me more weight because these curls are tighter than this side. But you know it's cute nobody's gon na notice unless they're looking for it but yeah um. Let me know what you prefer.
