Prom/Formal Hairstyles For Curly Hair

HI SUMMERBUMS! Prom season is here! I'm so sorry if this is too late for you, Proms in the UK are usually held a little later than in the US :( But you can also rock these styles to anything formal, proms, weddings, dinners, mixers, balls, graduations, ANYTHUN. Just because you have curly hair does not mean you can not look absolutely gorgeous with a curly hairstyle!! Of course, feel free to use heat to style your hair, but if you want something more natural, these styles will be awesome. I didn't use ANY heat on my hair for any of these looks, so it' all in keeping with the theme of healthy hair and growing your hair long!! Don't forget to like, comment, and subscribe!!

Hey guys is how you're doing I am doing a video on early hair, prom styles, because believe me, I have looked, and there are hardly any any any any curly hair, prom style, videos on ha love YouTube, which is so unfair, because even if you've got curly Hair you deserve to look absolutely stunning on your prom night. These are gon na, be absolutely awesome. Food with girl. Yet do you don't have curly hair, but you want to try some of these hairstyles. Then you should check out my how to get heatless curls video. I really hope that you guys are so excited about prom, because I am feeling it's like for you, even though I'm not even going wear them to anything football, you can wear it to a wedding, a dance, a ball, a nice dinner. You can wear it to absolutely anything that you want to. I should let me know what you're looking forward to most about prom night and also, let me know which of these hairstyles is your favorite in the comments down below so without further ado, let's get into the hairstyles. So for the first look, you're just going to take a hair man like this, I'm using one that is got a fabric on the inside, because we all know that if you wear one that is just the beads and the chain in the middle, they never get Stuck in your hair - and you will never ever ever be able to get it out, curly hair problems. So what I'm doing is I'm just going to put this? I'M actually doing a side ponytail just going to take this little black elastic, I'm just going to take all of my hair to one side. Just tie it up with that to pull it all through. I just remember not to be too harsh with your hair and not tucking it too much, because you don't want to disturb the curls and then what we're going to do is we're just going to take just quite a big chunk of hair from here and we're Just going to wrap that around the hair tie cover that up and make it look nice and pretty a little bobby pin and then what you can do is you can tuck your hair around the headband? You can take a middle part. Now we're going to do. Look number two take a large section of hair from this side and you're also going to want to take another section on this side. But first of all, we'll do this side, and all you need to do is just do a normal braid and then just take the braids and clip that in just an on top of your ear. So I'm just keeping that just above my ear. On the other side, and then I'm taking this braid from this side and I'm covering up umm, I'm covering up that clip there and I'm just going over to this side and I'm going to clip that underneath and then with my hair. I'M just now going to take all of this kind of in a messy bun at the back of my head, so I'm just going to wrap it around these parts. That frame your face. You can absolutely take a curling wand if you want to, and you can just make sure that they are really nice and defined as long as you use a lot of heat protection, quite large sections of your hair, I'm going to take this side, and I'm just Going to braid this normally because I could show you styles, that involve kind of French Platts and Dutch braids and that sort of thing but thing is with your curly hair. You don't want to touch it too much. You don't want to manipulate it too much. So just a braid: it's fine! So we're taking this section here and you're going to just braid it it's just a normal braid, so we're not doing a French plat or anything like that. We just sort of braiding it sideways. So this is sideways. What you can do now that you've got this, is you can now start to pour bits of it just to make it thicker just going to leave that sitting there? It won't unravel my hair unravels going to take the same on this side. So it's just the first sort of up to your ear. You want to take that's on both sides, and all you need to do is just pull them to back your head. Oh, my going with them is just I don't tighten around each other and you can make another braid now. If you want to, or you can just sort of lay them so tie them over and the next one is an up to you. So I'm just going to go and take all my hair up and we're just going to take out bobby pin here. Oh sorry, our hair tie and we're going to put that right on top of our head about here. Oh, those hair ties gon na be really tight. Okay and then what you're going to want to do is split. The top part split the hair into two okay and then you're going to want to take this part and wrap it around the rest of it, and then that way, you're sort of creating a donut, even though we don't actually have a donut. So if you've got shorter hair, you can just use a donor. Okay, and then this part we're now going to want to split it to again and we're going to take the first part underneath and I'm just laid there secure that with another bobby pin. And then this part you're going to want to take the other way and just secured up again with another bobby pin and this just kind of ensures that you get a really good nice, big bun and then you're going to want to take something like this. This one was just from Primark, it's just four top knots and then you're just going to need to take that over the top of the barn. I'M just sort of arrange everything nicely and I would flatten my baby hairs, but I don't have anything with me. I mean if you had baby hairs like those, then you can just lay those. So that's that lit you're, just gon na take just the back crown back crown of your head up. So just pick this up, pull it through, hey guys. Thank you.
