Hey guys, I'm Tiana Michelle and welcome, or welcome back to my channel in today's video I will be trying boho braids on my natural hair. I'Ve been seeing this trend all over Tick Tock, but it's actually not a trend, because I've seen this hairstyle on people for years. It'S just becoming really popular now and I want to give it a try, I'm starting on freshly washed hair and I'm just going ahead and sectioning off the front I'll be using the olive oil Eco styler, and this mousse from Camille Rose I'll link. Everything down in the description box - I am not the best at parting, but it's actually getting better. That is not bad, so we're going to keep that section and I'm going to go ahead and start off in the back, and I can't see what I'm doing with my back face with camera. So I got my mirror to check and make sure everything is decent. I like to start off with the mousse first and apply it all over my hair, I'm doing this rather than like a cream or a gel for my braids, because it's going to dry so much faster and after I detangle my hair before I start braiding, I'm Just going to apply a little bit of Eco Styler at the root so that it's nice and smooth and then I'm going to use my Edge brush just to smooth it down a little more before I begin braiding. This is a really easy style. It just takes quite a bit of time to do so. If you do this style just know it's going to take you a couple of hours to complete, but it's worth it rather than braiding all the way down like I would, with many braids, I'm just going to find a piece of hair Where My Curls naturally separate, Because I have so many curl patterns on my head and I'm going to take that piece of hair out and continue braiding. I only do about two pieces of hair that I take out for each section just because I don't want to have to deal with the maintenance of trying to keep those pieces defined throughout the days and the single strand knots that will come with it. But if you want to add more pieces, you totally can it just depends on how you want the style to look and the fullness you desire foreign just going to take some Eco Styler gel to put at the bottom to smooth it out and kind of coil. The ends and, of course, I'm also using the gel to define the pieces of hair that I left out of the braid. This is how the first braid looks so far. I did three braids in the first row so now I'm gon na move on to the next one foreign. If you have really thick hair and multiple curl patterns, I have many different curl patterns. All over my head in some of my different curl patterns are mixed. In with each other, so like this one, for instance, these strands are just a bunch of different curl patterns, all mixed together, meaning that it's not going to Clump together the way the rest of my hair has been clumping. If you can see like these pieces, the curls in that section are a little bit more uniform once I get to this part of my head, they're, not they're, more mixed in so when I see my hair frizzing up like this, I'm just gon na go ahead And take this braid a loose and put this back in and just leave this hair piece out that way, I don't have to deal with as much frizz. This hairstyle has been blowing up on Tick Tock, like people have tried to stop from Tick Tock or tried it on a tick tock, and it's been a fail for them. You may just have multiple curl patterns like I do so. I don't know if this is going to work, but we'll see at the end of the video. This is how the first two sections came out. It'S bigger than I thought they were. I don't know I thought that was doing them smaller, but it's okay, because I'm just gon na make the next section small and it's going to cover it up. It'S gon na be fine. My lazy girl was coming through, that's all and in the earlier clip when I was talking about how I put the pieces back that are already freezing up, I'm referring to the pieces that are already frizzing up after I've applied product. I know my hair very well and I do have multiple curl patterns, even when I do wash and goes there's a whole section of my head in the back that will still frizz up after I've applied product, because it's so many curl patterns mixed in there. It'S it's really interesting. I'M finished with the back section and I'm so happy next time. I want to do this with twists and make that section in the back back smaller we'll do that next time, always and now that I'm at the top, I'm not parting. My hair in any particular way I am just making sure the sections are small. My hair in the top is less dense than my hair in the back foreign, so I've made it to my final braid. I started at seven o'clock and ended a little after 11, because I was watching Netflix on my phone too. I probably would have finished earlier if I wasn't a little distracted, but that's okay, okay, foreign, I'm also taking some of the scalp Serum by pattern, Beauty and applying it to my scalp. I love this product. It'S the only serum that I use consistently on my scalp. It works so well, and I just love the cooling filling that it gives my scalp, I tied my hair down with a silk scarf and let it finish air drying overnight, and here's how my hair looks the next day. It shrink up a little bit, but not a lot honestly, and I love the way my results turned out. I believe that this is a style that I'll probably be able to wear for the next two weeks. Let me know what you think down in the comments and, if you'll be trying this hairstyle yourself or if you've already tried it how'd, you enjoy the style and don't forget to subscribe. If you haven't already and I'll see you all in the next video bye,
