Hi guys welcome back to my channel. My name is naomi. If this is your first time here, you're so welcome um, let's just get right into it. So today i will be flat ironing my roots. My hair is about um a month and a couple of weeks since the last time i relaxed it, and i already have lots and lots of new growth right there and by reason of that new growth, my hair, is already getting puffy. This is my straightener that i'll be using today. This is an og. I'Ve had this for i've. Had this since my university days, my sister-in-law got this for me when i was going off to school um. I don't really use it like that, because i don't apply heat on my hair as much except when i'm relaxing my hair. It'S really hot. This thing can cook rice, okay, that's too much it can. Maybe it can maybe toast bread or um. So it's really hot. That'S what i'm trying to say, i kind of tell what brand where this is from. All they wrote inside here is hair straightener, 230v, 500, hz and 180w. I don't know what that is, but i like that it comes in a comb on this side like the teeth on this side and it's flat on this side. So um there's really no way for me to regulate it or to know how hot it is, but it can get really hot. So sometimes when i feel like it's really really hot, i just put it off. It comes with this thing like this, so i just i put it off and let it cool down for a bit, then i go ahead and apply it to my hair, um yeah. So it's been a while, since i relaxed i flat iron, my hair myself uh. I don't really know what i'm supposed to do, but i know that my hair is clean, um yeah, so just going over to my roots, i hope i do not experience heat damage. So at this point i'm going to be, you know, figuring out what i'm going to do: detangle the hair and put the hair into four sections all right guys. So this is what the back of the hair looks like right now, so i had to quickly do this off camera because i needed to understand exactly what i was doing and see if it works so yeah, i'm going to continue to do the front now and Show you guys what i'm doing the only thing that happened, i'm sitting here, i'm sitting here, i'm sitting here so guys, i'm going to quickly duty side off camera and come right back and show you guys. The finished look, hey guys, so i'm done with uh. You know if i try and need another part of my hair, so do you guys want to see i've been? I'M excited, i think i burnt my hand and i was trying to pick up the um hot iron. This is why i don't like using heat on anything, because i end up burning myself: okay, so final results. Let me show you guys the back of the hair, i'm so proud. I think me just looking at it. My hair is maybe a little bit over there right there yeah, so the goal was to stretch out my new growth, but at the same time i was able to see length and i'm excited. But okay, i have a lot of shedding. My hair fell out of my head too deep. I don't know why, for some reason, i'd be feeling like my hair is really really soft and i don't know if it's the cholesterol treatment i did to my hair some weeks ago. Maybe i just need to add back some protein um to my hair, so um i will look. I will see how my hair reacts to it later. I don't know if i will be doing it, but i'll do a little research on it and just watch my hair for the next one week. If i don't see any changes, i would like to do a protein treatment. You know to strengthen my hair. Thank you guys so much for watching. If you love today's video, please consider giving a big thumbs up. Let me know what you think in the comment section: um yeah. So this is our stretch. I don't know if i'll be stretching my hair for as long as three to five months anymore. I would likely relax my hair again pretty soon, because i think that the last time i relaxed my hair, i was too scared to put relaxer over the demarcation line that there were some parts of my hair that were under processed. So i still have a bit of natural hair in my hair, with relaxed with my relaxed hair. So it's a bit of a struggle, so i know that is because i i was relaxing for the first time and i think that if i try again this certain time, i'm going to get a hang of it and just understand how everything works. Hopefully so yeah. I'M still on the journey to discovering my hair. I don't know it all. So thank you guys so much for watching and for trusting me for always being here. I love you guys so much and i'll see you guys in my next one bye. You
