Hey guys so, as you can see by the title of this video today, we are doing a hair trim. I'Ve been getting questions all the time asking me. Can you update your trimming video? How do I trim my hair, and so I figured I should probably go ahead and make this videos honestly. This is such an easy process. It'S so easy. You'Re gon na need some shears go to your local beauty. Supply store, Sally Beauty, Ricky's ever be a supply store. You have near you and ask for hair shears that usually right behind the counter. This is the one that I'm currently working with now it's from Oster. It'S super sharp, just all of the higher quality hair. Here you bi, probably the sharper it's gon na, be be very careful. I have cut my fingers a couple times using these. I like to use a wide tooth comb, followed by a detangling, a brush, followed by a thin tooth comb. I'M not really sure what you call these, that's not at all their proper name, but you know what I'm trying to say. I use all three of these items and then you might want some duckbill clips. Obviously, everything that I use in this video will be linked in the description box for you, alright, so my hair is washed conditioned and in twist I washed it last night it is dry. Now, usually, I will trim my hair right after I get out the shower, but I didn't do that last night because I knew I wanted to come and do this on camera, for you guys, usually I'm styling my hair right after I wash, and I usually stop My hair, in section, so it's just easier to trim this section and then style it trim the section and style it. You know it just makes it a lot easier. I don't have to like do this whole thing, but you can take this method and use it. However, you want don't use it at all, whatever I'm just trying to show you guys what I do one twist at a time and I'm gon na work from back to front getting the hair out my way, I'm somebody who doesn't straighten my hair very often so This is very forgiving for me. If you straighten your hair, a lot and you're like super worried about how your layers are gon na. Look, you don't think you're gon na do it right. Maybe you want to go to a professional, but if you're somebody who's really laid-back about your hair, then this will work fine for you I understand now. I have these perfect little sizes to trim again. My hair was already detangled when I washed and conditioned it, but we're gon na detangle it again just to make sure we have a nice back here at trim own. Oh, my god, I look at my hair, so I'm just gon na kind of go from super wide to really tiny detail and we're gon na just angle a little bit out of time. You don't want to go straight to your tiny comb because there might be knots and tangles and then you can end up ripping out more hair than you need to so I'm just detangling, first with my wide tooth comb from bottom. To top a lot of you guys know that I like to finger detangle. This is one of the times where I actually do use hair tools to detangle my hair cuz. You don't want to trim your hair untangle hair, oh my god. Now that would be a huge mistake. You don't want to do that next, I'm going to tangle with my brush. This is the second step I used to trim my hair with the conditioner in my hair, and I think I did it before I showered now. I just do it after right before I style right now, I'm trimming with just a little bit of leave-in on my hair, we're going with our little tiny tooth comb, which is its scientific name. If it was an organism, I don't even know what the hell. This thing is called and we're going to gently comb out all of the tangles and here's what you really want to pay attention to. What your hair feels like this is: how you're gon na tell what you need to trim off, because the top portion of your hair strands are gon na, be nice and smooth when you comb through and then once you start getting to the damage and you're. Actually gon na hear the like follicles in your comb and that's kind of an indication of where you want to start to trim. I feel a lot of resistance right there. I'M gon na comb it through just to make sure you know. Sometimes our afro hair can feel a little bit more coarse. It just needs to be combed through, so just really comb it through to make sure that it's not just the texture, you're feeling nice. Actually, the split ends. That'S usually what I do so right here is where I feel a lot of resistance and visually. I can see the split ends that look, so you about a quarter of an inch of hair. So it's not a lot when I trim it off, I'm taking my pointer finger and my middle finger and then I have them like scissors like rock-paper-scissors, shoot we're gon na scissor the hair. So we have one finger on each side: try to keep the hair above the knuckle, you'll get more control below the knuckle. The hair is gon na slip them so try to keep the hair above the knuckle. Once we get our resistance, which is right there, I'm going to just remove my comb, and I have my hair that I want to trim off. So I'm taking a mental note that about a quarter of an inch, I'm going to try and trim off the same amount every single time now to make sure you keep your fingers straight up and down. I like layers. So if you're trying to cut layers that'll get you like a neat layer and it's not gon na, be like a drastic, it's just gon na be a natural progression. You don't want layers just flatten your hair out and just have your fingers go across this way. Rather than this way, and then all you do is trim the dead ends. If you have super sharp scissors, just be careful, you don't cut your fingers and that's it. Here'S what I trimmed off. It'S still in a nice straight line. It'S gon na clip it to keep it nice and stretched as I work on the next one and then just repeat the same process. Why tooth comb, comb that out detangling brush and then tiny tooth comb and once you're done with all three of those, your hair is going to be perfectly tangled you're gon na feel it go from smooth to damaged I'm getting resistance right here. So this is where I'm gon na trim and also you know, visually look at it. How does it look remember? Not all resistance is damaged, make sure you look at it really make sure it's not just the texture, giving you a resistance, it's actual damage. We took off about a quarter of an inch on the first section, so I'm gon na kind of use that as a guide and try and take off about a quarter of an inch all around. So that looks about good to me, sharp, shears and trim. That'S it so this entire section is done, I'm just going to style my hair. Now, I'm adding a little bit of cream just gon na go ahead and twist this up. So that's it! That'S how simple and easy it is and how quick it is. I just took off a little bit about a quarter of an inch from each section or, however much you need just fill your hair see how it feels and if you're nervous about this, but are really adamant to learn how to trim your own hair. Just take your time with it and it'll be fine, so don't worry about it after you done with the first twist you're gon na do the same thing in small sections, all around your head and the more you do this, the faster and more comfortable you'll get With it, my sections here are actually kind of big. If you're just doing this for the first time, you might want to do smaller sections, I don't know it's whatever. You feel comfortable with and comfortable with it being like this, but if you're not comfortable handling this much hair at once, because you know it can slip out of your comb, it can slip over your fingers. Just make your section smaller and take your time with it. Do whatever feels most comfortable to you, here's a little tip to if you find that you've maybe taken too much hair, just slide your fingers down a little until you get the right distance that you like you, use a comb slide it up and down until it Looks good and trim and then once the section is done, it's super simple. I just moisturize it with my cream making sure that my ends are nice and hydrated and then I twist the section or right back up alright. So I'm gon na go ahead and do the rest of my head and I'll be back after to show you just how much I ended up trimming off and that's it. My entire head is now trimmed. I feel so good about it. My ends are happy. I can leave this as is, and just wear like a bantu knot out tomorrow. I'M not gon na do that, because tomorrow I'm going to be styling, it a different way for another video, but it looks like it would be such a cute bantu knot. I'M sad about it, cuz all the hair that I trimmed off my ends. There'S about a quarter of an inch all around. It'S always different. The quarter of an inch is actually really good for me, I'm that tells me that my hair is nice and healthy, even though it's kind of drugs I've been working out and yeah. Anything I use in this video is gon na, be linked in the description box below I'm also going to link my two other older trimming. Videos, because I know, there's some tips in those videos that might be helpful, especially if this is your first time doing it and you want like a ton of information or whatever go check those out, maybe you'll, like those methods better. This is just how I've been doing it this works for me now. I hope you enjoyed this video and I'll see you guys in the next one.

Kate Azu: I need these shears. You have been teaching me how to take care of my hair since I was 14. lol I am 23 so... you are like a big sis.

A C: Yesss....this is a good example of a trim! Please go on tour across the United States and show all beautician/salons what a true TRIM means to customers. How many of us have gone to a salon for a trim and lost inches?? Ugghh!

MinMin: Hi, I just wanted to let you know that you have helped so many of us naturals. There's been a lot of negative natural hair YouTubers popping up thinking they know everything and spewing a lot of hate and negativity. I appreciate your hard work and efforts, I've been natural for 2 1/2 years only because of you, thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and wisdom!!

The Culture Counselor: "Remember, not all resistance is damage." - Naptural85 Life lessons right there!

I Only Speak Sarcasm: I cut my hair (for the first time) while watching this video and it actually came out great no one could tell I lost any length and my hair feels a lot smoother. You're doing great things here

BlinkZennie: I haven’t trimmed my hair in more than a year and my ends have been looking sooooo TRASH! So I watched this tutorial, bought hair shears and I went to work! My hair turned out pretty well! It has this really cute shape that I didn’t even know I was making lmaoo! I am lucky it turned out so cute! I had to cut like 1.5 inches off though because the split ends were no joke. Imma thinking of this as a fresh start and I’m imma start taking better care of my hair now.

Star Wrek🌎☄: Hairstylist tip: Use a piece of the first cut section as a guide so you don't have to guess or keep in mind how much you need to cut as you continue because you can see it. Just make sure the section isn't too thick or you may accidentally cut into your guide.

indiechic09: You’re the one who first taught me how to trim my hair when I went natural 3 years ago! The video is still very much relevant and helpful even though it’s a bit old. Love you whit!!!

Breanna Tolston: I just did a trim last week . I should’ve waited! This is almost exactly what I did, so I thank you for this video, you gave me confidence in my trim.

Ames_817: Need this for so long I hated wash day because of the tangled only to realize it's because of my damaged ends that we're causing me to basically tear out my hair no matter how much slippage the conditioner gave me. But now I'm concerned about what's actual damage and what's my natural texture

Nakia Hazel: I thought your hair was still damp!! It looks so moisturized. LOVE.

Shonte Walker: Thank you so much for this demo. I followed your tips and trimmed my hair yesterday. Today my hair looks so good, I'm shocked. I usually get a salon cut at Deva Chan about once every eight months, but after another vlogger pointed out that a cut is to shape your style but not really going in and getting all the ends I realized I really needed to address that issue. I trimmed while damp with leave-in conditioner, which was a little messy, but it was very easy with your instructions. Next time, in about two months, I'll try trimming before I apply the leave-in for less mess. :-)

Kimberly Olodun: I’m literally watching this video as I mini twist my hair and dust my ends! Thanks for the updated trimming tutorial! ❤️❤️❤️

Lonnie NYC: Your hair looks so healthy and vibrant! I’m so jealous! I’ve always had fine hair, but at my age (42) and having chronic anemia throughout my teenage and adult life, acquiring a healthy, full head of hair has always been a struggle for me. I stopped relaxing my hair in December 2006 hoping that this would help improve the health of my hair. However, it seemed that regardless of all my efforts to “care” for my hair, my hair remained thin, lifeless, continually breaking off, having a shocking amount of hair coming out from the roots with every comb-through, and remained completely unmanageable. My hair couldn't/can’t even hold a curl. There were times when I simply stopped caring about my hair because it was so frustrating and depressing; I just covered it up with a scarf. I wasted a lot of money trying to “fix” my hair issues. But, I am not one to give up. I believe there is a chance for me and my hair. I’m still working on trying to improve the health of my hair with help from informative sites like yours. I don’t have the money to get professional hair care, so I must do it myself. We all know that hair trimming is important for healthy hair, and that cutting/trimming your own hair can be extremely stressful and scary! Which is why I am so thankful that you have provided this video. It is a big help. Thank you!

Mariel Lindsay: i needed this bc i’m about to take out my braids and try my first wash n go!! wish me luck lol❤️

Tissey: Thanks Whitney! QUESTION: how do you keep your hair so healthy it seems like whenever I trim my hair I always have to trim at least 1 inch to 1.5 inch and most of what I see is fairy knots. My hair gets tangled so easily. Any advice on how to prevent that???

Minka Gaston: Great vid! It's good to see a trimming video where the hair isn't blown straight.

Dereck Gonzalez: I just finished trimming my hair, not too bad. I was definitely having a hard time since I didn't want to mess up. My hair is getting longer and I can put a little bun so I am all good. Thank you for the video!!

Denielle: This comes right on time! I need to do a trim sometime soon myself. Thanks for sharing as always, Whitney. Your hair looks luscious & super healthy by the way!

Chisom Anyanwu: It's like you heard my prayers girl. I've been natural for almost two years and never trimmed but I'm terrified of heat. Especially since I have low density type 4c hair (y'all think thick hair is a struggle, imagine hair that never looks full even in a fro smh) anyway I need help on shaping and all but I'll do this to at least get my hair back on track

Maureen Huertas: Thank you so much for this. It’s passed time for me to trim my hair, so this weekend is it! I’ve wash oiled and flat ironed. No longer letting a beautician cut it (felt she was scissor happy) My hair is mid back and I only want to take off what’s necessary. But above all…I want happy, healthy hair!

Rachel: I watched this video multiple times and I finally got the courage to do this to today. I just wanted to say THANK U! THANK U! THANK U!!! My family made me feel like it was the dumbest decision ever to take scissors to my own hair. But your patience in every video makes me feel like anything is possible when it comes to this natuarl hair of mines... THANK YOU SO MUCH...

Simply_JodiAnn: Ladies trim your hair as needed.I was able to grow my natural hair over 22 inches, just made my first YouTube video on this, and I only trimmed when needed. Don’t trim/cut just because, you are trying to grow your hair :)! Great content and demonstration on how to trim 4c hair when it’s not straight!

Elisheba79: Hi Whit! This was a great update.. I have used one of your old methods before and it worked out great.. I'm in the process of taking out my micro braids and my hair definitely needs a trim. This was right on time! Thank you!

Peace&Cookies〉(^_^)〈: Thanks for the help! I'll be a year post big chop I'm September and I wanted to give my hair a trim and blow dry, so this really helped me out! Thanks!

N Ca: BEAUTIFUL!!! I'm working on getting my hair the same thickness from the roots to the tips. Thanks for the continued inspiration.

Deanna Mccloud: I love that your videos are so original. I don't feel like you're spoon feeding me other people's videos in a slightly different way. You are amazing! Keep up the amazing work!!

Gigi Reddick: Thanks for this great video. I trim my hair myself so tips are always welcome. I feel so accomplished when I finish and my ends are clean and happy!!!! Please keep the awesome content coming I learn so much from you!! Gigi

Squite: Thank you I told my mom this she would always straighten my hair for her to see the split ends and trim them and my hair would smell burnt and it would fall off that was when I was 14–13 I’m now 17 years old and this helped me a lot and my mom.. btw I do my own hair now my moms still trimmed her hair like that

Keenya Williams: This video is literally right on time. I'm getting ready to trim my ends and always try to refresh my memory on how to do it properly. Thanks for taking the time to update your method. #stillmyfavoriteyoutuber

Melody Maker: So look forward to your posts. They’re so useful to me. Thank you so much for keeping it so real and being yourself

Krista Cousins: Whitney, I just love your positivity! I’ve been too afraid to trim my hair, just the splits ends when I find them but I think I’m going to try now! Gotta save that $$$ a trim here is $75 plus tip ❤️❤️❤️

mjgarner123: Whitney, great demonstration for trimming w/o heat. Easy, peazy. :) Thanks for the links. The FL Brush is not available on amazon, however there are other places to purchase. Your hair continues to look beautiful and full of health. Thank you and your family for all you do and all of the hard work you put in for your subscribers! Much love, blessings and peace!!!

Katherine Hernandez: Thank you for making this video. I watched it today and was inspired to do a much needed trim on my hair based on your instructions. My hair is alive again lol.

Williams Oluwaseun Judith: I am three months fully natural after being 19 months post relaxer and I plan to trim my hair this weekend..... Got some useful tips from you. Thanks Whitney and I love your hair❤❤❤ so full and healthy

BlueBerryYumYum23: I finally trimmed my hair yesterday all cause of this video reminding me that I desperately needed one lol. It’s was a good 10 months since my last trim and my ends were shot. I used this technique only difference was that I had to dampen my hair cause my hair was not having it on dry hair

kimberlyskloset_: Thanks again! I’ve used your other trim videos previously and you’re always so helpful! Thank you for helping us natural girls !!

A Stovallo: Thank you! I've been natural for years but acquiesced long ago to straightening my hair at least 2-3× a year just to cut the ends! Thank you. I will use this!

Mikayla Byrd: The fact that I JUST trimmed my hair yesterday. It was much needed and my hair now feels amazing and I use pretty much the same method as you

Sophie K Davis: Watching this as I do my wash day. Love it

Michelle Frazier: I'm definitely using this method the next time I trim my hair. I always feel as though I cut too much off or too little. But this way, I'll be able to actually feel and see where I need to trim.

Chris S: I went to cosmetology school way back but you have trained me on how to train natural hair so thank you I do this for my daughter at the end of every summer. I do angle my fingers so that her bottom layers are a good bit longer than the top ones it makes her twists easer to do and for them to stay even without rubber bands it also adds a cute shape to her wash and go ( which I hardly ever do BC she is an active 7 yr old)

Joyful Noise: This is sooo on time for me. Have to do my hair and my two young daughters. Thank you!

Francesca97200: I've never done it since I got rid of my relaxed ends. You made me brave enough to do it myself Whitney! Thank you for that little push! My hair will thank me.

Evangeline Wtts: Your hair looks great!!! This will help me next time I trim. I think I mistook texture for resistance and split ends and cut a little too much. I can live with it but want to do better next time. Thanks for this very helpful video. Have fun at the Essence Fest. Sorry I can not be their to support you, but I will rooting you on at home. love ya! Teach and Educate.

Kay 2.0: OMG thank you Whitney for posting this! I have only read the title. These past few days I have been searching for videos on how to trim my hair I know you won’t disappoint thank you! ❤️

Antoinette Rogers: Thank you for all of your hard work in helping people with natural hair. One of the things I like about you the most is your professionalism and your positivity. It is a pleasure to watch you, as your videos are very informative. I recently bought your line of products "Melanin" and I can see that it's a good move for me. Its great that you put in the time (6 years) to perfect the product and that means a lot. I started using it and I'm very happy with the results I'm getting from all the healthy ingredients. Thanks for all your hard work and I will definitely share this with all my family and friends . Since I haven't been to a salon since before the pandemic started, I am really due for a hair trim but still don't want to go to a salon. So I watched your video on trimming natural hair and now I am less nervous to try it, so thanks for that lol .

Zoë H: I really need to trim my ends. I haven’t since going natural 3 years ago and i’m too scared to have my hair dresser do it for me. Thank you for your videos. They’ve given me confidence to trim my ends xx

Marjorie Coleman: I just washed my hair today. This video reminded me that I soon need a trim. Thanks Whitney, your hair is looking beautiful & healthy as always!

Feehan Fan: Thanks for the video. I've been having the hardest time finding time to go to my stylist. Now I feel confident enough to trim my own hair.❤

Creative Design by Jessica: Okay, so I just cut my own hair last night and it came out AMAZING!!! TFS Be Blessed

Sea Witches on Rye: Thank you for this video. With a house full of women with natural hair, we are very hesitant to go to someone to cut our hair. You are a life saver!!! Will be using these techniques this weekend

Jada Winchester: Story time: GIRL...I’m a new natural, so forgive the ignorance, but I totally forgot to detangle my hair when I went to my hair stylist for a trim on my TWA. I was totally surprised and disappointed when she detangled my hair dry and used a paddle brush. It hurt so much! I didn’t say anything bc I wasn’t sure if that was the proper way for it to be done or not (I normally use water for detangling, but I’ve never trimmed my hair). Lesson learned: detangle hair first and bring your preferred brush for combing hair and request a spray bottle with water to be used to dampen hair

Lillian: Since wearing my hair natural I’ve saved a ton in salon visits. Reclaimed my time! The remaining dependencies are the trim and color. I’ll leave the color to them for now but the trim? I’m ready to try it.

Tina Edwards: Love the video! I was triming my hair the same way, but my hair was twisted. Liked the part of feeling the split ends! :)

Devin Georgia: I’ve been meaning to trim my hair for a little while and this was the sign I need to do it this week

Dead Dread Lock: My hair is about 15 to 16 inches long and I thank you so much for making videos based upon maintaining and a having healthy head of hair. My wife and I have been fans for about 5 years now. Keep up the excellent work. #naturalhairrocks

July Fit: This video is right on time! I need a trim...badly!

Laura: love your videos sooo much!! im learning so much about how to style/take care of my daughter's hair since it isn't the same texture as mine. thank you!!

Lauroyalty: This is such perfect timing! I almost trimmed my ends yesterday but the length threw me off because I wanted to frame my face with layers. I usually just trim before washing. But your process makes more sense lol.

Lashante727: Thank you!! I never knew how to do this until this example! Now I have a little more confidence in trimming my Type 4 hair!

asukachan07: Trimmed my hair last week! Didn't use tools other than the sheers, oops! Will do that next time for sure. Your hair always looks so luscious! Your trimmed hair is like 25% of my whole head Thanks for sharing!

bookaddict209: I know I should have watched more than just the one video, but this was so detailed and it made me feel so confident that I just went for it. 15 minutes later, i can absolutely tell the difference!

DeShonna Rose: Hey! Thanks for the informational video. I noticed you said you typically would trim it right after the shower. So it is safe to trim while it’s still wet? If so, does anything change about this method when wet? Especially when it comes to feeling the resistance and knowing where to start trimming? Thanks in advance!

Eruvwu Obuaya: Love the look, texture and length of your natural hair. Love the video. Thank you for sharing.

Daja P: I just recently trimmed my hair for the first time and I wish I found this video before I did! Next time around I will definitely use this method.

Meeka Etienne: you are awesome!!! I've been looking at your videos since 2012 and you have taught me soooo much. Thank you thank you thank you from the bottom of my heart! Keep up the excellent work ❤

Breinna Sandi: I was having a moment and got upset with my ends and hair being dry all the time .( even considered cutting it into a bob but I'm natural so that's a fail). You came to the rescue. Thank you

Kiera Sailor: Thank you! Now I feel more comfortable trimming my hair with this method. I;m a college student and can't afford to go to a curly hair salon or one that doesn't need to straighten my hair. And usually when they dry my hair curly it dries my hair and scalp. and Your hair is BOMB

RACHEL IZEGBU: Just wanted to take a minute to thank you for being one of the reasons I now have the confidence to wear my hair naturally. So yeah..thank you :)

Janice Malone: That was a great video.Your hair looks wonderful, and so healthy.

Lexi Lomax: Wow your hair grows so fast :) Looks super healthy and shiny

Diane V Wright: Whitney, I just love your thick long hair! You are definitely an inspiration to everyone. Keep up the good work girl

Selena Richie: I really appreciate you making this! I’ve been trying to find time to trim my own hair instead of a professional lol how often do you recommend trimming your hair?

April Allen: You always help me! I just said if I had one hair wish it would be you styling my hair. These tutorials are the next best thing!

Liz Couture Biz: Great videos! Thank you for always sharing and being honest on your reviews. I had the SAME EXACT PROBLEMS with Huetiful Steamer. Question: how often do you trim? how often do you wash your hair?

Keisha Hall: Girl, I remember when you did a bantu style video and added extra hair. This looks even cuter!!!! Thanks for the video!

Valerie Bullot: I haven’t started to watch your video yet and i already love it! I also wonder how some people find time, energy and hatred to press on the « dislike »button (how is it possible to dislike a video of how to trim your hair?! Lol) Lots of love from Martinique (French Caribbean island ) you are a great and lovely woman!!!

Iyana LeShea: I will definitely try this method out thank you for the video!♥️

J M: i just trim my hair every 6 months or so while its still in twist . if my hair is kind of straightish and takes a long time to curl up at the ends even in a 2 strand twist then that usually means its time to trim . i do like how you trim your hair in such a professional way

Thamara Lasset: This video helped me trimmed my hair for the first time! Thank you so much!

New New414: I love having African American hair. Our hair so beautiful.

catherine johnson: hello Natural85, so i love your show. you are what keeps me going. I watch you all the time just to keep my spirits up because my aunt put a perm in my hair when I was six because she was tired of dealing with all the natural hair that I had. it was your length now, and when it was straightened it was at my waist. I was 8 years old then. my hair has not been so long since. it fell out in big patches so now I am going back to the natural hairstyles and my hair thickness and strength have shot through the roof. even though it is short, it has never looked better...and my patience has gotten better with myself and my body. PRAYER GOT ME THROUGH A LOT OF IT TOO. :D I just have two questions. 1. how many times a year do you blow-dry or straighten your hair? 2. how many times a year should you trim your hair so that it grows more than you cut, and also to stop the split ends and damaged hair before it gets too far? (i have not cut mine since the big chop. I don't feel a resistance as you say in this video, and I don't comb or brush my hair unless it is wet or damp. I find that I lose more hair combing dry hair than wet or damp because I hair soaks up moisture like a starving baby.)

Michele Jones: Your hair is soooooo healthy and shiny. Love your videos curlfriend they're always informative.

AllofChristina: I’m going to try to trim my hair for the first time this video was very helpful and gave me more confidence to do it myself so thanks for sharing

iamtrinaful: I love this process! It works for me

wenzile fuyane: so many years ago you made me go natural...lol I was so inspired by you I cut off my relaxed hair. I'm glad I stumbled into your vids. Thanks for this easy to do method...

Shamoyi McIver: I trim my hair usually every four months and it’s about that time. I can usually tell cause my hair starts laying weird lol . BUT CAN WE DISCUSS HOW BEAUTIFUL THESE TWISTS WERE? it almost hurt me to see you comb them out haha

Phoenix Echoes Audio: I just trimmed my hair Saturday!! Love your videos

Alexa Jenkins: "I absolutely love Zala products! I have purchased a 5 pc clip in set from them a couple of months ago, and I was so happy with the product that I bought a thick piece clip in as well last week that is a little shorter to add volume to my hair instead of length! Not only are the products amazing, healthy human hair that are easy to care for and style, but the colour range is excellent, and the shipping time is quick! Couldn’t recommend this company more! I am so in love with it. "

Melita Ingram: Omg I’m early!!! Your hair looks amazing can we also get an updated twist out tutorial pretty please! Hope the family is well ❤️

K I: I attempted my first trim last week. Let’s just say.... IT WAS A FAIL! What happened is that my hair was in need of a trim, so I watched a few videos, and began. I planned to cut about 1/4 inch or less, because I have really short (maybe 5 inches long) hair and I didn’t want to lose length. Idk, but it got hard and I was trimming uneven amounts each time and cut of SOOO MUCH (about 2 inches) in some sections. It took hours to do half of my hair. I GAVE UP. now half of my hair is 3 inches, and the other 5. It’s so uneven now . Obviously I need to go to a professional now but I’m dreading spending so much on it. Lesson learned.

Shawn Myrelle: Thanks a lot for this video. Im the three years ive had my hair, ive never clipped the ends. Its getting more difficult maintain length. But its still growing. Ill be using this as a model.

Wynter Breeze: Thank you! My daughter has bra strap length hair and she needs a trim badly! How often should I trim her fluffy, natural hair? The last time it was trimmed was November 2017!

Farrah P: Ya I trim mines the same way. Glad to see someone else with healthy hair do it this way. Confirmation that I’m not doing it wrong lol
