The Braid and Curl is a super easy natural hair style to do and it great for transitioning and fully natural hair. I just used my DIY flaxseed gel recipe infused with sage and rosemary, aloe juice and water and flexi rods.

Hey everyone and so don, i hope, you're doing well per your request. As you requested, i am finally doing the tutorial for the braid and curl out for those of you who aren't familiar with what a braiding curl out looks like take a look okay, so i love braiding curl outs, one of the reasons being that they're super easy To do they take little to no prep time and you can pretty much do a great braiding curl out using products that you probably already have at home. Another reason i love the braid and curl out is that it's great for a natural hair and it's fabulous for transitioners. This was actually one of my go-to styles when i was transitioning to natural. So all you need to create this style, our flexi rods i'll, be using um. My homemade do-it-yourself flexi gel this flexi gel was infused with sage and rosemary. If you're not familiar with how i make my um, my flaxseed gel i'll place a link in the video, so you can take a look. I'M going to be using a little bit of my water and aloe vera juice mix and then i'm just going to be using. You know um using clips and um a cone and perhaps i'm not sure yet maybe a denman brush all right. So let's get started start out by freeing my hair, so i took it out of the puff. I had it in puff ponytail, whatever you want to call it and i'm just going to let it fall the way i want my hair to fall for my braid and curl out, so i'm just going to pull the hair kind of in the direction. I would have it once it's styled all right, um and i'm just going to begin to pull apart sections of hair um to begin the braiding process of my braiding curl out. Now i don't like to pull my hair up. You know on all to the side or even section it because for me this part is really important, because i want to know where i um, where i should place my braids to get my hair to to lay the way i want it to so. You know you're just going to be seeing me kind of you know, use a clip to clip the hair back rather than pulling it all back in out of place. I'M going to use my water bottle and just kind of spray, my hair once or twice to get the water on my hair so that i can work with it. I don't want my hair to be drenched or anything, because i'm doing this is basically a dry style. The reason i'm doing it as a basically dry style is because i want to maintain as much length as possible. I don't want a lot of shrinkage all right. So i've combed this out and now i'm going to take a little bit of my gel black seed gel. You don't want to use too much because again you don't want to saturate the hair to the point that you begin to get shrinkage. Okay, so i have achieved really soft voluminous really soft. I think i have a nice amount of volume, uh bouncy curls um, but what i want to do is give this a little bit of a different shape, so i'm going to turn this style into a bob. Really easily i'm going to use just a few bobby pins and i'm just going to slightly pin up the back okay, okay, so i'm all done, and this is the final style. I love it. As you can see, my hair has a lot of movement and, although i use my flexi rods, i still have a lot of hang um on my hair. One of the benefits and one of the reasons i like i'll, have to position this curl. But one of the reasons i like to do the braiding curl is because it allows you to have these really wonderful voluminous soft bouncy curls. But you also get the opportunity to have fullness in the hair and you um. You have an opportunity to enjoy the length of your hair as well, so it allows you to have the best of both worlds in terms of length and fullness. Um hope you guys enjoyed the video. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to leave them below in the comment section, and i appreciate you watching and i'll see you in the next video take care. Bye,

Forever Ethereal: Thank you for replying. I stopped flat ironing my roots already because I want to preserve my natural curl. I'm watching your videos one by one. I think you're fab!

Forever Ethereal: I love this style. I'm newly transitioning so the only real texture I have is my roots. It's getting tough to style without flat ironing the roots. I'll be trying this in an attempt to find a go-to transitioning style until I get more growth.
