In this, step-by-step, video tutorial, I'm going to show you how to do the lace braid, the French braid, the French Fishtail Braid, and a rope braid all on yourself, to form a beautiful mermaid braid hairstyle. And although I'm wearing hair extensions for this cute braided hairstyle, you can do it even without them.
Today's heatless braiding tutorial is suitable for straight, wavy or curly hair - with or without layers, and will take about 15 minutes to do on yourself.

Hi guys, how are you I'm here to make it wearable and today I'm going to show you how to do this beautiful mermaid, braid. First, we're gon na make a part and then start a lace. Braid split your hair into three sections and cross the side strands under the middle strand and then we're going to continue braiding towards the back by adding in hair. Only to the bottom piece. Take some hair from the bottom and add it to the bottom piece and cross it under cross the top piece by itself, since this side, lace, braid, bottom to bottom and cross it under those middle top goes under by itself. Since this is a lace braid and when you get to your bag, tie with an elastic band and pull out the edges to make it thicker and we're gon na do the same. On the other side, now we're gon na combine the two lace braids and tie them together. So take a section split it into two then pick some hair from the left side and cross it over to the right side and then take some hair from the right side and cross it over to the left side. Now it's a French fishtail braid, we're gon na be doing these steps twice per size, they'll cross over a strand from left to the right and then we're gon na add in some hair from the left to the right cross over a strand from the right to The left and add in some hair from the right to the left. You see, we did it twice per side, but just remember we always take the hair from the outside area and place it in the inside area of the opposite section and that's all there is to fishtail braiding and then we're going to tie it with elastic dance And French braid of sized sections to French braid we're going to add in hair to the side strands before crossing them over the middle strand. Remember in a lace braid we only added in hair to one side in our normal braid, I'm a normal French braid.
