Claire Bridges: I love the tutorial but here's my tips. friends braid it so you don't have just waves in the middle of your hair. french braiding gives it a more natrual look and braid if further down and tie with a clear small elastic so it doesn't have a dent! :)

crystal johnson: what i do is if im in the mood for heat, i just curl my hair with my wand and brush it out and it looks super pretty! or i'll french braid it overnight so all of my hair is waved :) i also use the not your mothers sea salt spray! :)

V: my hair is so curly too! Before the day i straighten it i leave it in a braid so the next day the curls are just wavy and are easy to part and straighten :3

TotalyNicki: What I do is shower and apply product then I do a single Dutch braid starting from the very top of my head all the way to the very bottom, doing this makes a gradual fade from wavy to more crimped at the bottom making it look nice and natural. It also eliminates the harsh crease at the bottom of your hair this is straight from not braiding it all the way down

DeductivePig: For my beachy waves i have medium length hair and i do two french braids and then i let it dry for two days because i have super thick hair like Chelsea does. So then i take the braids out after two days and then i but in frizz-ease gel in my hair to make is shiny and not frizzy. but during summer, i leave it frizzy to make it more of a surfer girl type look. Lasts up to three days. c:

Alexandria Hamm: I do mine really tight and tie it off about an inch and a half above the ends. Then I tug on the hair tie until its like almost a centimeter from my ends and I loosen up the end of the braids. That works best for shorter more layered hair so it looks more natural without the tiny tight weird spots at the end.

Ariee Rey: When you do a fish tail braid, the curls come out bigger and last longer.:)

A D: If you know how to do the French twist think divide your damp hair into two sections and start with your bang & twist your entire hair & then once your at the ends twist it into a bun on both sides. Sleep on it & tuduh! BAM. I love doing this! Not sure I explained it very well... But, ya know. If you thought this idea was interesting & you tried it let me know! That would be so cool!
