Hi guys welcome back to my channel welcome to another video of me looking a hot mess, I'm literally wearing the same sweater I wore in my last video, but we're here and we are going to film a video today. It'S taking so much in me to sit down and film this video. I have been so unmotivated when it comes to filming YouTube videos when it comes to like keeping up with myself. I have not washed my hair in literally two weeks today and I don't ever do that. That is not like me at all. I only do that if my hair was straightened and it's not straightened, although it looks like it was because it keeps slicking it down in buns and ponytails, but yeah I've just been so like blah and I'm so out of it. And I don't even know why, like I do know why actually but that's the story for another time, but I really need to get back into the groove of things. Today'S February 1st I woke up - and I said this month is going to be a good month when it comes to filming, creating content. Keeping up with myself like what am I doing, I look crazy, but I was sick with covid again I had covered last year. I got covered again this year to start the new year, I'm actually getting over it still. So my voice is kind of nasally, but I really really really need like a good scalp cleanse a scalp detox. My scalp is so itchy. It'S been super cold out, so I have a ton of dandruff and I haven't washed my hair, but any product in my hair in two weeks, so I am going to get myself together today. I'M not going to be using anything new or fancy. Today, I'm not doing any new product reviews, I'm literally just going to use some of my go-to products that I know will bring my curls back to life. So I'm going to use this Aromas scalp purifying liquid shampoo. That is going to get my scalp all the way together. I love love love the way that this feels and then I'm also going to put in this herbal hair mask in my hair. Before I jump in the shower and shampoo and conditioner, this is the hydrating and reparative mask that is perfect for dry and damaged hair, and my hair is so so dry. So I woke up this morning and there was snow on the ground. It was the first snow of the new year. It was literally the tiniest bit, but it's been so cold, I'm like if it's going to be cold, it might as well snow like it's no fun when it's just freezing cold for no reason but um. It was just the tiniest bit of snow. I hope it does snow some more though I'm just putting this all over my scalp and I'm gon na rub it in and do a little scalp massage with my fingertips, I'm hoping to film and post this video right away today. If not, hopefully, the video is up by tomorrow and I just don't have a video up to start February off on a good foot. I hope you guys have a wonderful month by the way. Let me know some of your goals for this month. One of my goals is definitely to post more often on YouTube and just be a little more consistent. You know creating content. I'Ve even been posting a lot more on Tick Tock. I actually finally reached 15 000 subscribers or followers on Tick Tock, which is so cool, because now I can be a part of the Creator fund. But let me tell you how the Creator fun literally pays you, like 12 cents, a day, 12 cents. That'S ridiculous! I mean, I guess you get more depending on how many views you get like. If you have millions of views, you probably get a lot more than 12 cents, but right now I barely get like a thousand views on my little tick tocks and I got like 12 cents, 19 cents literally each day, and I'm like this has to be a Joke after seeing that that just reinforced my want to just focus more on YouTube, where I actually see a benefit from all the work that I put into these videos. But next I'm going to go in in with the herbal hair mask I'm just going to separate my hair in sections and apply this. I should have detangled my hair first, but I'm honestly being really lazy and I'm not gon na do that. So I was just dying having a cough attack, but I'm actually really happy. I haven't been coughing a lot at night like this past week I haven't been able to sleep because of my cough, like literally keeping me up at night, because it gets so bad at night, and I don't even know how I got covered because I literally don't Leave the house I was shook when I got the covered results. I thought I had the flu which I mean. I don't know if you can get coveted from like the air, but I thought I had the flu just because it was cold outside I'd. Go on walks and take my dog, I don't know so I really thought I had the flu. I went to Urgent Care and that thing said covid I was like how the heck I mean I do go to like the grocery stores and stuff I got so. I could have gotten it there or whatever, but I just was not expecting that, but I'm so happy it wasn't that bad, I'm feeling so much better. Now and hopefully I don't get sick again, because I feel like I get so sick lately, it was like I've been to the ER to the Urgent Care more times than I can count in my whole entire life, just in 2022. and another thing when I got Covered last year I was out in the club when I knew I wasn't supposed to be enjoying my night having the best time of my life, and then I got covered the next week. So I was like I couldn't even be mad about it because I was out you know when I wasn't supposed to be, but now I was like what I don't even leave my house and I'm still getting it, which I guess somebody could have brought it into. My house, but but it's all good now it wasn't too serious which I'm so so thankful for, but hopefully I just stay healthy and not sick for the rest of the year. Foreign guys are curious on what the consistency of this hair mask looks like this is what it looks like. It'S almost like a thinner, clay-like consistency. I really love it and it smells so good. My scalps are really tingling from the scalp purifying shampoo. It feels so good, okay, I'm gon na let this sit on my hair for like 20 minutes before I get in the shower, and then I'm not going to show you guys in the shower, but I am going to use the bread, Beauty, shampoo and conditioner. I have the gentle milky hair cleanser and then I have the creamy deep conditioner, which is so good. This is gon na rehydrate, my hair, so well, so I'm really excited to use this. These aren't necessarily new, but I haven't showed these products to my channel in a long time. I do have a full video on some red beauty products that I think I posted last year, but I'll link it in the cards above if you are interested they smell. So good too, I feel like they smell, like the leftover milk from Fruity Pebbles, and I just actually want a bowl of Fruity Pebbles right now and I might go to the grocery store later and get me some, because I want some cereal. I haven't ate cereal in so long. I just got out the shower, and I know you guys already know this, but I would never recommend that you wait as long as I did to wash your hair the amount of time I just spent the tangling in the shower. I could have had a full head of straight hair by now, but I'm gon na move on and start styling my curly hair, I'm going to use this random product combo. I literally just picked up the first things that I saw. I picked up this goddess strength, leaving cream from Carol's daughter and then I'm going to be using the tjn rose. Water mousse also be using the aqua gel from the brand truce. I used this in my last video um. These are all products that I really enjoy and I've never used them together. So we're gon na see how they work. Today, I also will be using a Denman brush. I haven't used a denim brush in a long time. Lately, I've just been using my hands to style. If I do use a brush, I always always use a tangle teaser, which I love. I also am going to try a different technique to layer my products because normally I apply cream gel and then mousse, but today I'm going to reverse the gel in the mousse. So I'm going to do cream, mousse and gel, because I was just reading an article and I found somebody. I think it was a real or Tick Tock and it makes sense of what I read and what they shared in their video about how the gel is supposed to hold in and lock in that volume and keep your curls frizz free, whereas mousse doesn't have as Much hold, but it will give you that volume, so I'm just going to reverse it to and see. If I see like a major difference in my hair or see how long it holds up this time and I'm using my careco detangling brush, this is the careco mini tangle Buster, my favorite detangling brush, I'm gon na dampen my hair just a little bit more because It'S kind of drying out also my scalp feels so much better after using that pre-shampoo that I used, but before I put any styling products, I'm also going to add this leave-in scalp spray, also from Aromas. So I'm just going to spray this all over. Just focusing it on my scalp and not really my hair strands and then I'll run my detangling brush through my hair once again to kind of like spread this out a little bit, and this also feels super refreshing as well. So I'm going in first with this leave-in conditioner from Carol's daughter. This is the Divine strength leaving cream for weak breakage prone hair. It smells so good, I'm also kind of being heavy-handed. Just I don't know because I feel like I haven't done my hair in a while. It just needs some sort of product. It really needs something at this point, so hopefully I'm not doing too much and my hair doesn't get weighed down, but I just feel like I need it. Okay, so the leaving cream is in and before I put any more product, I'm gon na go in and Define each section with my Denman brush. This is the seven roll diamond brush. I don't know the actual name of it. They all have like very particular names. I'Ll put the link for this one in description box below if you're interested. This isn't anything new, but I just never use Denman brushes even when they were super popular when they first came out. I'Ve never used it. So I'm just gon na use it today and see how it works. I mean I have used it before, but I don't use it very often because I was so hooked on the Tango teaser, but they actually sent me a little box of brushes the other week at this point, and I just want to try it out. So I'm just going to run the brush through each section and then I'm gon na kind of twist the bottom a little bit to run it through and then twist the bottom of it. I'M not exactly sure if there's a specific way to use it. But that's how I'm going to use it today and I think it'll work pretty good, because those curls look really cute and bouncy already. So that's what I'm gon na do foreign! Thank you, foreign. The denim brush through all of my hair and I'm gon na go in next with the mousse I'm using the tjn rose water mousse. This is a curl defining mousse one of my favorites. I always use this one, so I'm gon na put like a generous amount and I'm just gon na kind of do the praying hands method and put it all over. My hair, I'm gon na, put some more in for the other side foreign just a little bit more and flip my hair over to apply that so far, it's looking pretty good. I'M gon na do that same method to apply this gel. This is the aqua gel from truce, some more for the other side and then flip my hair over and apply just a little bit more foreign. Okay and now we wait I'm gon na let my hair air dry for a little bit and then I'll be back on camera. So I can diffuse it for you guys and we can see what the final result looks like okay. So I'm back and I'm gon na be using the timer air hype to diffuse. My hair today have the diffuser attachment on I've only been gone for like 30 minutes, so it hasn't been that long. My hair is probably like 50 dry, it's still pretty wet. So I have a lot of drying to do. Okay, so my hair is completely dry and this is what it looks like before. I go ahead and fluff It Out. My Curls look really nice and defined. I don't have any huge, ringlets or big clumps, which I didn't expect to have using the Denman brush the way that I did it as well. I did feel one over here. I think it's like right here. It'S probably like the biggest Clump that I have is somewhere right right here, this big clump of hair right here that I'm just going to go ahead and separate, but that is what I usually would get if I use a tangle teaser and I feel like now. I just kind of have more individual individually defined curls like this, so I'm going to go ahead and put some of this oil in my hair. This is the gloss Shine from truce, I'm just putting a little bit of that in rubbing it in, and then I'm gon na rub that over my hair and then fluff it out putting a little bit more of that gloss shine in my hands. This is what it looks like I'm gon na wrap it in and also put it on the back of my hands and then I'm going to go in for my roots and start fluffing, my hair out foreign, and these are pretty much the final results. I definitely feel like I have a lot of volume for day one so day. Two and three should look really good and I just feel good. I feel like a brand new person now that I got my curls back after being super lazy with my hair for almost two weeks now well exactly two weeks now, but I think these results came out really good, that random product combo that I use worked really Well, I don't have like any weird residue. I feel like everything mixed really nicely. Denman brush worked really nicely on my hair. I don't know why, but for the longest time I stopped using brushes to style my hair, but I think I might keep up with the Denman brush routine, because I really like it also. I almost forgot to share my thoughts on applying gel as a last product. In my curly hair routine, I like the way that I still have a cast since I used it last, even though I shook out my hair, I mean I could probably still continue to shake it out and get rid of the cast, and this was a medium Hold gel, so it probably does depend on whether you're using a light hold medium or a stronghold. How long your results will hold up. But I think that since I still have the cast, My Curls will hold up longer and I won't get frizz as quick as I normally would. Usually. When I apply my mousse last in my routine, I don't have any type of cast. I have like a nice soft fluffy kind of vibe on the first day hair, and then I usually get a lot of fruits like the few days after so I have high hopes that this will hold up really nicely. My hair is finally starting to grow again. I love it, I'm so happy that I actually got in the shower today and washed my hair, because I really needed this. I'Ve been feeling and looking like a bomb for two weeks and finally, finally, that is going to be the end of today's video. Let me know if you've ever tried the mousse gel method or, what's your favorite styling brush to use, do you prefer tangle teaser, a Denman brush or any other kind of brush, or do you prefer to style with your hands just make sure to leave a comment Down below before you go and give this video a thumbs up, if you did enjoy it I'll, have everything I use in this video in the description box below so check that out as well, if you're interested in anything and make sure you subscribe, if you're not Already and I'll see you guys all in my next video bye foreign
