I have a question: All leave in styling products that claim to be humidity blockers I notice contain glycerin within the first 5-7 ingredient list. How can these products block humidity if glycerin is a ingredient within top of ingredient list? Glycerin attracts from atmosphere.

I have found over the years that many of the styling products and recommendations you've suggested haven't worked for me and it is bc they're just not meant for the kind of humidity that we have where I live. But bc that wasn't stated prior to me trying those methods, I was always just kinda left wondering what the heck was wrong?!? So, I really appreciate that you're talking more about humidity and some of the differences for styling and living in such climates, daily (like for example, I bought the Verb ghost oil, but even with only using 1 pump, the oil just completely destroys any hope for a lasting cast, I haven't found a way that can ever be incorporated into a humidity routine)

Then used a tiny bit of hair oil...my hair was so nice and soft, better than ever.. I was so happy cause I've been watching so many curly girl videos and trying so hard to take better care of my hair and it was finally soft with beautiful curls and waves... Plus I followed her video on how to trim your hair in pig tails for layers today... anyways 3 hours later it's just a frizzy poof n I didn't leave my house.... I'm so disappointed... Ig I'll wait a few days n try again without the curl activating cream

Darima2: I don't even bother leaving my hair down in humidity, it's too hot and the hair makes my neck sweaty. I have 3b high porosity hair, there's no product that's going to prevent the humidity outside from causing frizz. Also, the sun dries out my hair so I prefer to just protect my hair with oil and styling cream to put it in a high bun. My hair loves cold weather, fall and winter my curls chill out so much, it's like they come alive again after being depressed, they become a mix of 3a/b in the fall and 2c in the dead of winter. Shiny, no frizz, relaxed curls.

But my main problem is that for some reason the bottom half of my hair is always frizzy. Like the top will look good but the bottom is always frizzy, I try to separate it but it never seems to cooperate with me. And I have tried growing my hair for a long time now but I always get to much volume and it shrinks up. When my hair is wet though it's super long I just want it to stay how it looks when it's wet.
