Hello, everybody welcome back to my channel. I feel like I'm in like an optical illusion or something in this angle. I actually kind of like it. I think it looks really cute my dressing room looks it looks nice in November. I chopped a lot of length off my hair, like my hair was like all the way down here, and I chopped it to about here. It has grown a little bit longer. It'S probably about this length now I'll just show you, but I get so many compliments on my waves and it took me ages to figure out how to wave my hair um and not look like a poodle when doing it, and I have just learned a couple Of techniques and have used a couple of products, I absolutely love and I swear by so I thought I would just do a video and anybody else - who's struggling to curl their hair when they have short, hair or shorter hair. I know it's not really short but shorter hair. Then hopefully this video will help you is using heat. I know you guys if you follow me for a while. You know I love doing heatless curls. I still need to master that, but once I do with shorter with short hair, then I will let you guys know how I achieve it, but at the moment, I'm just using heat and using Heat Protector um. So anyway, let's get on with the video and I'm just going to take my rings off, because I find it quite hard to do my hair with rings on um, and I hope you enjoy. Also. I have my retainers in um, so just bear with my hair cupboards down here, so I'm just gon na get a few things out. I need my tongs. I need my wet brush. Absolutely love this thermal spray, which is also heat protectant and I'm gon na use. Some finishing cream as well. Do I need anything else? I need my heat mat. I also need my heat protectant glove because I always burn myself and a clip to section my hair anything else that I need water just spray through my fridge because I washed it last night, oh straightness looks like I'm using double heat, but I don't really I'll Show you in a minute what I mean by that so now that it's sectioned and I've combed through my hair, I'm going to take Thermo modeling spray. It just helps your hair like stay in place like my curls always drop out, and this just kind of it. Just gives it that hold so I spray this it's heat activated, so you need to put it on before you use heat. Then I will get my straighteners. These are the ghd ones, and all I do with this is: I just run it down the ends of my hair, because I'm going to leave the ends of my hair straight, I don't want it to be frizzy because I've got frizzy hair. So I just straighten the end. I don't go over them with the colors, so it doesn't get double heat it just two different types of heat. I guess so yeah. I literally just grab a piece like this and just straighten the ends and I'll section this side into like four sections working my way up the underneath section. I don't do this very precisely. No one sees it. I just need to make sure it's got a little bit of movement in the hair, so I'm not that precise with it. So if I miss a few bits - or it doesn't curl that well, I'm not that bothered about it - I'm going to be using this was a sister brand of beauty. Beauty Works, um called Beauty cutie. I don't think the business is uh any longer with us here. Um, so Beauty works are probably the next best thing of buying a hair Tong like this, so I put it behind my head and then I wrap away from my face and I keep probably about like an inch and a half of my hair out of the Curling situ - and I literally just that's - there's no technique to this underneath of it. The technique kind of comes afterwards I'll. Do this piece going towards my face again like at the underneath it I'm really not that bothered. I just kind of Alternate which way the curl goes. Then I'll grab the next section right and then this is where I kind of get a little bit more Precision. So the back piece now I'll always curl towards my face. I was on a zoom event and the guy who was taking the event with ghd said it's always better to curl towards your face, because it gives you more volume at the back rather than if you go away, it kind of goes a bit flat. So that's the reason I do that I don't even know if it really works, but I'll take his word for it. So then I go and curl I do like two loops and I leave again like an inch and a half of hair out. I don't even care if a little bit falls out and I just hold it there for about five to ten seconds. And then I let go and I actually pull on the curl, I'm kind of stretching the curl out of the hair counter-intuitive, but it works. And then I go away from my face so alternating the curl this time, I'm going to leave like maybe half an inch or an inch of hair out, I kind of just like changing it up each curl. So these sections - I keep it quite thick, I'm not! Ah precise, with this section either it's a purple, I'm gon na do this one towards my face, pull down, and then I always go away from my face with the hair, that's nearest to my face. If that makes any sense again, two Loops, I'm leaving about an inch and a half out and then I'm pulling now, as I go up to the top two sections, I will get um thinner kind of pieces. I kind of try and start the curl. I, like eyeline, you see it's starting to like take shape and that's pulling when it's still warm for just like a couple of seconds makes such a difference. I'Ve never actually seen anybody do it. I just decided to do it one day and it worked. I mean if anyone knows anyone who does this, please let me know because I think I'm the genius, but probably I'm not okay. Now this is this side done, I'm just gon na. Let it cool down wow. I feel like I've just done throwback to like 2006 hair, okay and then I literally just repeat the same thing on the other side, who got Beyonce tickets? If you did, I am so jealous, we got through. We got to the stage where you could buy your tickets and then there was none left, so that is my hair prepped and curled really flashy. I'M going to get my Dyson air rack just to do my Fringe. I get a little bit of this um Percy and read, Define and hold finishing cream, and I just get a pea size amount just like this and I'll run it through my fingers and then I just run my hand through the curls and especially the ends of My hair and my Fringe, and this just kind of stops them from being a bit frizzy. It separates their hair and it kind of just like yeah, like defines the curls a little bit more just so you can see like the separation. This is how I do my curls for my long bob kind of shorter hair. I know it's not really short anymore, but it was about here anyway. I hope you guys have found this helpful and useful, and let me know in the comment section: if you try this out with your curls, I mean you could definitely do this on long hair as well. If you want to get more of that, like wavy Beach, kind of vibe um but yeah, let me know in the comments. If you enjoyed this video - and I will see you in the next one, which will probably be a vlog so I'll see you soon, bye,
