I'M gon na walk you guys through my curly hair Journey, because I did not Always Love My Curls as much as I do now growing up. I felt like, in order to be seen as pretty I needed, to have straight hair, so I would often hide my hair. I always felt like my curls were too big, too distracting and looked messy anytime. I straightened my hair. It was always your hair looks so good like this. Why don't you do this more often, so it really made me feel, like I only looked good with straight hair anytime, I tried to embrace my curls. There was comments like your hair, looks like a bird nest and then that took me right back to where I started. I used heat on my hair. So often my ends started to fry and that's when I decided to make the decision that I should just go. Curly, I've never loved a decision. I'Ve made more in my life than just embracing my natural hair and though having curly hair takes a lot of work. I'Ve never looked more forward to wash day and hairstyle days. I wish that I embraced my hair a long long long time ago, but I can't go back in time, so I'm here to help you guys with your curl journey and learning to love your natural hair. Kiera _Klark: I had completely virgin hair just a couple years back expect for a couple times a year when it would be straightened without heat protectant, until I was told of a keratin treatment that would get rid of my frizz and got it as a birthday present when I turned 17. of course the one time I decide to fully damage my hair, it has to be the kind that leaves permanent damage and cost £150 and also slightly loosened the curl pattern of one side of my hair even now

DivergentBee945: I don't know if I have curly hair per se, but I know my hair is usually quite dry and frizzy. One time when I was walking in a park my brother saw that a bird was trying to take something out of my hair, so I guess my hair must be a bird's nest if they are trying to swoop into it. [My hair is wavy if anything, and I've never really had long hair, furthest its ever been was shoulder length]. I'm tempted to try a curly hair routine to find out if I have it.
