Heatless Curls On Straightened Natural Hair (70S Inspired Hair)

Hola y'all, your girl looks crazy right now, but welcome back to my channel. Today, I'm coming to show you how I maintain curls on my straightened, natural hair, using no heat.. If you want to see that go ahead and keep watching., You only need a few tools to maintain your curls on your naturally straightened hair. Or if you want to do this on relaxed hair, you can do it., It should work just the same.. So I already got half my tools in my head right, now.. I have my scarf and this is like a very large bonnet.. You can put it over locs, you can put it over braids.. I also have flexi rods in my hair.. We can see how many I actually have in my hair in just a second.. The only other thing I use to do my hair is this: Lotta Body illuminate me shine mist.. This is the only product that I've been adding to my hair.. It is a spray product y'all, it's basically like a spray oil.. This is how much comes out.. Y'All. Can see that., It smells great., It's very light and it still gives me. You know that sheen that you want for your hair to look natural and healthy., Hey y'all.. It is super late.. It'S super dark.. I just want to show y'all how to actually roll up. My hair., So this is what my hair is looking like: 11 days, post-flat iron., If you watch my previous video you'll, see exactly how I straightened my natural hair. I'll leave that up here in the cards for you. Yeah. I think it's on this side. Now., I'm showing you how I roll my hair every night.. Basically, what I do is split it down the middle and I'll just work on one side at a time.. So I'm just going to take a section of my hair Finger. Comb, it ever so slightly and I'm using the purple flexi rods. I'll. Take it all the way down and I'm going to wrap once directly on top of my ends and then I'm just going to wrap up. I'm gon na try to catch as much of this stray hair as possible, because I want all of my hair to be Stretched., I'm just going to roll all the way up until I can't roll anymore., So I'm at the very top of my head and the way I'm gon na do this is by bending this back and also bending this back like so.. So that is what that flexi rod looks like.. I'M gon na do five flexi rods on this side. Five flexi rods on this side and then we're gon na be done., So I'm just taking all the hair Collecting it at the very ends of the flexi rod. Gon na wrap once around my ends for security measures and then just roll all the way. Up. And just like that, we finished this entire side of my head., So that is how I roll my hair up. It does not take me very long at all to put in these flexi rods. Again, usually because I'm doing it when I'm tired and it's late., So we just get in there and go. But before I go to bed, I do put on a bonnet., And this is how I look when I'm going to bed. Y'all crazy, crazy crazy., But you get the picture and you'll see the results in just a second.. Let'S go ahead and take this down and see what curls we have.. So let me tell y'all honey sleeping in these flexi rods is not the business. I'm gon na. Let you know right. Now., I'm just gon na lightly, spritz my hand with that illuminator. Once again. So we're not creating any type of frizz. We're gon na take down these flexi rods and see what we got. To take this flexi rods down, I'm literally just straightening it out like so, and then I'm gon na unravel enough. So I can get to a point where I can just like pull it straight out., And this is the curl that we produced. Again, you straighten it imma unravel it a little bit. So I can just pull that flexi rod out.. So I have a total of 10 flexi rods in my hair, so our hair is very much curled.. Okay and I didn't put any other product on it - just curled it up and let it sit. I'm gon na, take a little bit more of that spray And we're basically gon na finger separate these curls okay.. I'M not gon na do a lot to them, because I actually prefer my hair to be curled.. Well, obviously, not this curled okay.. So, as y'all can see, my edges are very much reverted., But I have yet to put any product on them because I don't want them to get weighed down.. I don't want product build up to like cause my style to lose its longevity., So I've just been kind of rockin with the puffy roots. But other than that y'all. This is how I wear my hair out the house, and I don't really care that it gives you like the seventies vibes.. I think it's kind of cute., But this is how I've been maintaining my hair.
