How to correctly apply a hair oil
Today'S video is all about hair oil, we'll be discussing the importance of a hair oil, how to best, apply a hair oil and we'll be addressing some common questions such as. Should i be using a hair oil if i've got oily hair? How often should i be using a hair royal and will a hair oil make my hair look greasy as always before we get into it? The intention behind a hair royal is to hydrate soften and nourish the hair. A hair oil can range from one particular oil. The most common example would be argan oil found in your local drugstore and that's usually aimed to target a particular hair issue such as dry hair or you can find a blend of hair oils, such as cloud control. So on that note, here's how to best apply a hair oil hair oils are best applied into freshly washed hair. This is particularly important if you're about to expose your wet hair to heat via a blow dryer or by going outside in the sun, run one to five drops of oil into your hands and then evenly distribute from root to end to prevent over saturating your hair. I'D advise to apply your hair oil throughout the blow drying process apply a little when your hair is wet, then, when your hair is about 70 dry and then again at the end, if you feel your hair could do a little more frequency of application so to Those of you who shampoo daily - it's not a bad idea to back that practice up with a hair oil. Every time you shampoo, you're stripping your hair of its natural oils, which is causing your scalp to over produce sebum, which is probably why, by the end of the day, you're already back to having oily hair by introducing just a couple of drops of hair oil. After you, shampoo, you're, going to be preventing your scalp from over producing sebum, which means you hopefully will be able to go several days about the need to shampoo, which overall, just results in a happier and healthier head of hair weekly. This is probably the most realistic approach is what i personally follow, literally just a few drops on the days that i shampoo, and that sets me up nicely for the days that follow monthly once to twice a month. You could give a hair royal mask a go. The idea here is just to overly saturate your hair, with hair oil to deeply nourish from root to end. You could leave this on overnight and then shampoo in the morning. If you've got some sort of hair towel, that's just to prevent the hair oil going from your hair to the pillow and then to your skin in the morning. You would then shampoo and then you're left with some really soft feeling, hair, okay and so moving on to the last segment of this video commonly asked questions. Should you use a hair oil if you've already got oily hair? Now, we've already briefly covered this point, but the answer is absolutely the cause for oily hair will differ from person to person, but for a lot of guys, it usually stems from over washing over washing your hair leads to a dry scalp. A dry scalp leads to overproduction of oil. Overproduction of oil makes you shampoo, which then repeats the cycle by implementing a hair oil. After you, shampoo, your scalp over time will regulate itself, preventing it from overproducing sebum, so yeah, that's a very simplified diagram or version, but hopefully that makes sense. Will hair oil make your hair look greasy? The obvious answer is yes: it can, if you're unfamiliar with how much to use, but the real answer. Is it shouldn't hair oil is really easy to overdo, so my personal advice would be to literally use just one or two drops, and that way you can add or reduce the amount depending on how you get on. How often should i apply a hair rule again? We'Ve covered this throughout the video, but this is totally individual. There isn't a magic number if you're shampooing every day. The answer is probably every day to every other day, if you don't have particularly dry or oily hair, you're kind of sat in the middle and maybe even once a week will do. But i'd say if there was a magic number. Ahmad Lodhi: Dandruff and having a dry scalp is different. Malassezia, the fungus that is attributed with dandruff, survives by feeding off of oil. If you add more oil, you make it worse. Saying oil will help with dandruff is a plain lie.
