I also wanted to provide this video a short tutorial, video of what it takes to become a client, because i get hundreds of requests every year asking me if i'm taking new clients and yes, i take new clients every day. I love working with new people and the best way to become a client is to go to scottmusgravehair.com and look over the pictures. Look over my philosophy. Look over the pricing section, make sure everything is that is agreeable to you and send me an email. The next phase is, send me an email. I don't reply to text. So if you send me an email uh of the side and back of your photo so just take a side and back because not everybody wants their face in a video. But if you want to do that, you can do that as well, including the uh products that you use currently, and this is to make sure that my service will benefit you, because a lot of people have really short hair and, to be honest, you can you Can stay with your a traditional hair, stylist cutter if your hair is really short and just change your product routine, and i recommend, cultivate your curls with the matte method, change your product routine around and stay with your current stylist. But if you want to grow your hair out or if your hair is medium length or longer, a lot of people have a hard time finding someone to cut their hair and that's really what i specialize is wavy and curly hair from medium to long hair. And i do have some short hair clients and not and i'm not afraid to take hair shorter. I can do that as well, so um look over the um, so send me back inside photos because, even though you're you've been doing other methods online for years, the cultivate your curls with the map method is a different system and people that have taken other uh Courses or have been doing things online for years or are in other facebook groups, they do see a difference with the map method, so it really does make a difference. So um i'll, let you know via email when you, when you send me the before and after pictures, if uh your your hair is, if you will benefit from my service and then the next step would be to purchase, cultivate your curls online course and i'll have A link below uh in the description box, for that course content as well, and i usually include that in a link when we respond via email. So once you get the course you download it and you have access to it for life and you also get access to a facebook community. That is people in it from all over the world and we all collectively encourage you and support you and we encourage you to post pictures and frustrations, and then we professionally guide you through it without shame and guilt, because i hear a lot of pages are uh. Very shame based or very oriented only toads one way. Well, there is no one way and the map method, even that has a lot of flexibility in it, so practice with your hair for about two weeks and then send new pictures because a lot of times, if your hair is dry, it will elongate and when your Hair is hydrated and healthy. It actually starts to shorten up a little bit, so it can shorten up to the point where you may not need a cup, but sometimes it's getting bulky and a little bit clumpy and a little bit triangular, and you just need to a reshaping. Then that makes sense to book an appointment, so it takes about three weeks to get in with me, because all i do is our cuts dry cuts. You come in with your hair, styled looking good according to the matte method. We give it a cut and it only takes 30 to 45 minutes. You do two or three of those a year and you end up saving a lot of money and uh, because now you're not researching products, you're, not spending time on forums and instagram pages and youtube tutorials on how to do your hair. You know how to do the your hair for the rest of your life, so that saves you a lot of time, energy and money and when you come in for a cut, we discuss your frustrations, we discuss products, options and we discuss uh, hair porosity and and What is unique about your hair and how to customize it a little bit more than what the the course can do and, of course, if you get the course and you're frustrated and you're and you're, you don't get real help from the facebook group i'll be glad To do a 15 minute, uh facetime with you, if you get the course as well so um so like i said, most clients return two or three times a year.
