Good morning everybody Welcome to my channel. It is early here in North Carolina. I have been up since six o'clock this morning because I am an early riser and I'm an early morning, person making hair units, as I have been doing all week, long and I'm doing this for a live stream. That'S coming up as soon as I get these hair units finished, where I'm gon na feature just all hair units for the crown some will be for the entire hairline, but mostly for the crown area, because that's what you've been asking me for, I wanted to come On quickly, in response to a viewer's request, she wanted to see how I made the 4x4 topper that I did for that gray. Synthetic curly hair unit that has been really really popular. So I promised her that I would show her how to make it, because that's what I'm going to be making a couple of those for the live stream. The way that I make a four by four topper, I use a sheet of copy paper for my pattern and then I make a five by five square foreign fold, that square in half and then round the edges. Next, I place the pattern piece onto the lace and pin it in place to get the four by four inch measurements for the topper. You want to fold the entire perimeter to a half inch and then use a steam iron to press the seams next place. The wrong side of a single wept track to the wrong side of the topper and so very close to the edge with a zigzag Stitch around the entire perimeter of the topper. Oh foreign now use a straight Stitch and go all around the perimeter very close to the edge again to give it a beautiful, finished, seam foreign topper, so that you can see how it's made on a larger scale. You'Ll do the exact same with the 4x4, but here I want to show you in detail how to make the closure and doing it on the larger scale will help. You understand how to make that seamless closure. Much better. Now use your Taylor's chalk to mark your sewing Lines by going around and around in the shape of the topper until you get to the center, where you're going to make your closure foreign, the rest of the tracks on the lines that you've drawn until you get To the center, where your closure is going to be, thank you, foreign, to make your closure use a two to three inch single weft tract fold. It around two to three times use your sewing needle and thread to sew through each layer of the track, and after that you want to sew the center of your topper with zigzag stitches like I'm doing here. Thank you and then use a seam ripper to cut through and make a hole, push the closure through the opening and then sew it to the underside of the topper foreign. So the remaining width around the closure add clips and your new topper is ready to wear
