Easy Hair Extensions For Short Hair

Hi guys, i hope you are all well and having a lovely week. I am bringing to you today some really cool hair extensions that i have found. This is my hair post chemo. I finished chemo july 2019, so i lost all my hair i'll insert a picture here, so you can see what it looked like. I had hair right down my back and for more information on my hair loss and hair growth journey. You can see one of my youtube videos below i basically talk about when i lost it when it grew back how long it took as you can see. This is my two year post, chemo, hair growth. I have in fact just straightened it for the sake of the video, because the extensions are straight, but normally it is quite volumized and quite curly. I think this is still chemo curls um, which i knew you could get and that trust me when i say i had chemo curls, i had chemo curls, um, really crazy ones. My hair before i lost it was thick, but it was wavy. It wasn't very curly. So the brand, whose hair extensions i'm going to share with you today are called uni wigs. This is a brand whose wigs are used when i lost my hair two years ago. Um i didn't mind being bold. I actually really embraced it. I found it very empowering. However, i did want a wig that could basically help me feel a bit more me when the days that i didn't and nuni wiggs did some real amazing, real hair. Wigs that i could show you a picture of here where you probably wouldn't tell that it was a wig. If you didn't know, i had cancer, so i love them for that and then now my hair is now growing back two years in. I wanted to use some hair extensions because a i've never used hair extensions b. I wanted something really simple: to use um easy to clip in easy to clip out. I didn't want to commit myself to getting some proper glued in extensions, and then i came across these. So, let's unpack this with you and i will show you guys how they look. So, as i mentioned, i straightened my hair before, just because the uni wigs hair extensions are straight. I wanted it to blend into my hair seamlessly, and this is the first time i'm trying them with you guys as well. So i wanted it to be a real, honest review. As you guys know, i like to do and show you. So this is what they look like. So when you open the box, i've already opened it as well. Just to see you get really nice packaging, a nice order scent with love message, and then you can see the hair netted up and you also get a little how-to guide in a comb as well for brushing in your hair extensions to make them blend into your Hair nicely and then the hair extensions look like this so um, i spoke with a consultant at uni wigs and they match my hair with the hair extensions. The one closest to my colour is the one that we went with, which is kind of dark brown. Nearly black, but not quite there, so when you take the extensions out, they feel amazing they are so soft, it's real human hair, so you can curl it straight in it and style it different ways as you can see, they have actual clippings. So all you do is push it out, slide it onto your hair and then brush it through to blend it in so these particular hair extensions are called the vanessa 16 inch, seven piece clip in hair extension and it's the remy human hair. Let'S get stuck in so, as you can see, they come in different lengths, so some have four clips. Some have two, the ones with less go on the top, the ones with more go on the bottom. So what i'm gon na do is i've straightened my hair and now what i'm gon na do is section my hair to clip it in so i'm just gon na take a layer of my hair up, put it into a little top bun. So what i'm going to do is basically separate my hair, so i'm going to leave a very thin layer on the bottom and then what i'm going to do is i'm going to group them so the ones with the four clips i'm going to put together the Ones with the three clips i'm going to put together in the ones with the two clips just so i know when i work through my hair, which ones are going where so the ones with the four what you want to do is they're the ones to clip Around the base, and then you go less clips the further up. You go basically so a little trick that i learned is to basically backcomb the bits of hair near the root to basically keep it on a little bit and give the clip something to hold on to. So i'm just going to try that, because my hair is straight, it actually is really soft and i don't want the clips to fall out and then what i'm going to do is i'm just going to unclip all of these ready just to clip in and then I'M going to work my way around my hair and just clip in near the edges like this. I can actually feel it on the back comb and then, basically, i'm just going to clip them in near the front, because i want them to sit there as you can see, it looks invisible already. So if you were to tuck it behind your rear, it actually is disguised well and also it really does help when you backcomb it, because you feel like you've got somewhere to properly clip the clip on. It should look like this nice and tight and close to the root of the hair, so it will be disguised and, as you can see, the color match is really great, already um that blends in quite nicely, and you can see why i've straightened it. Basically, i'm just going to go around my entire hair. Now speed it up a little bit and then i'll show you the finished look shortly. Hi guys. I just thought i would show you how i'm going to do the next layer. So i'm going to get a really thin layer just to cover up the clips um, not too thick. So i'm going to pat out the next layer with the three and just put them around the sides of the hair. You can see it coming together already. I have two more clip-ins to do, which is um these two, so the ones with um the two clips and then we will be done guys and it's that easy. I could actually wear it like this. I think, because i quite like this, like top top knot, look but just for the sake of the video i'm gon na go around and do some more as you can see, you can barely see the uh clips and a way to get rid of them is Just to take a layer of hair and then just pull it down just to cover the clip slightly and then again, you'll brush it into your hair brush it down. I quite like the way that this is real hair because it's actually pulling down my natural hair, which is quite thick, and that is pretty much it guys. So, as you can see it blends in with my hair, it's the great color. The only thing is, you can kind of tell where that divide is just because they're not layered, so i would suggest if you've got a good hairdresser, you can go and get them laid and chopped. So it looks a little bit more natural in terms of like your current hair length. So what i'd probably do is get a hair bubble, put it around the sides and then i would probably just clip them like that. So you can't really tell, but i'm in love with these, and if you guys are interested in getting them.
