I really like this hair. It has a silky smooth texture. To create this look I used three bundles/packs of spandex dome cap, weave needle, & weaving thread.

Hello, everyone happy holidays and welcome to the beauty zone. I'M felicia. Today'S video tutorial is on weaving hair by misswigs.com. Now everyone knows miss wiggs.com. They are known for their wigs, either their synthetics or their human hair. Wigs they have full lace, wigs, they have lace fronts. They basically have it all, they have beauty supplies, they are now getting into the weaving game and today's review will be on the miso or miso hair. It is 100 human hair and it is beautiful. Now this is a color 1b and what i did is i got three bundles of hair. I got a 14 inch length, a 16 inch length and an 18 inch length trying not to forget um, and i decided to make a wig now. You guys have seen my uh video tutorial on how to make a wig, where i basically use the weaving cap. This time i decided to do a different technique and thanks to lover for fashion for her ideas and for sharing her knowledge, i decided to make a u-part wig. So i'm just going to show you the type of supplies that you're going to need. The first thing you will need, of course, is that spandex dome cap - and you can find this at your local bss - this one cost me 2.99 reading backwards, yes, 2.99 and basically the dome cap. This one is for men. I couldn't find one for women, but i think they're, basically the same. The dome cap has an elastic band around it, as well as a stretchy center or middle, and this was just so genius that she came up with the purpose of the u-part. Wig is so that you can use your natural hair in the front and of course the back will be a weave, so just want to put it on real quick for you. So this is the concept that this is more like a skull cap and it's going to actually lay flatter and be more secure. Now what i found out for me, of course, you guys know that i have a larger size head. I talk about that. All the time on my channel, this will be my second wig that i made with this cap. The first one i went by lover for fashions directions and i actually she suggested to cut off this elastic band. Well, when i did that the cap was not large enough for my head and basically it stopped right here and that didn't work out too well. So this time i left the elastic band on and it worked much better and i have a black wig cap on the back of my hair and of course my hair is braided in the back, and i always leave my front out so that i can still Wear my half wigs or um, you know wigs such as this that i've made okay. The next thing that you're going to need, of course, will be your thread and i'm using black. You can pick this up from sally's beauty and you will also need your sewing. Needle which is a curved needle - and you can pick this up from sally's as well, very inexpensive and i believe the needles are like 99 cents or 1.99, and the thread is 99.. This thread is really good, though i don't like that. Bss thread. Okay, now i want to show you what my end result is and again she's really really pretty. The hair is a kind of a silky texture. I would say that it has, of course, silicone on it some kind of silicone on it. So i don't know about coloring, i'm sure they have a variety of colors, but again i'm using a 1b, and this is three bundles 14 16 and an 18 inch and she is very, very long and then in the front we have the: u shape. Okay. So i want to show you the insides now i didn't sew any combs on this, yet um and i'll show you okay. So this is what we look like on the inside of the cap. Okay, so again i cut. I left the elastic band on the elastic band is about um. This is about a half an inch right here wide in width, and it goes all the way around the perimeter. I cut the u-shape out inside of the cap. As you see you just see where i've sewn and i hand sewn or sold um, i did not cut any of the wefts. This is the first time i've used the technique of not cutting in the other wefts, and so i just basically went from side to side fold over at the edge and then kept on sewing when you get to the other edge, then you fold it over and Keep on sewing so we'll see how that works out too. This is what she looks like on the inside of the cap. Once you have completed sewing and if you like, you can add combs now you can add combs here on each side of your u-shape or you can add a comb in the back and the type of combs that i would use would be the type with the Fabric on the back or at the edge - and you just sew those on i like these much better than the snap combs metal cones. I can't stand those cones. I always feel like every with every snap you're pulling out your hair and you probably are all right and as far as supplies, what else? What else um always have yourself a nice sharp pair of scissors, and i think that might be basically it on the supplies. So let's go on and put her on. Everyone is having a fabulous day now for tutorial purposes. I'M just going to bobby pin her and i really needed my mirror and of course i don't have my mirror, but i'm just going to bobby pinner since i'm not ready to sew in the cones. Yet i will sew them in at a later date. So let me see my braids are still fairly new, so um my cornrows they're a little tight so we'll see if i've had any new growth enough to be able to put in a bobby pin it took me about it, took me a minute to do this. Wig not because it takes a really really long time um, but because i have so many things going on, it was just hard to sit down and finish it. But typically, i know in my other video, where i made the wig um that took me. I would say about three to four days and that's you know just working a couple hours a day. Now i did flat iron um, the hair after i sold it and of course you always want to use a heat protectant. I picked this up from sally's. This is a very good heat protectant. I use this on any of my human hair, wigs and also my own hair, and also you want to make sure that you have a decent flat iron and, of course this is my babyliss pro okay, so i have her bobby pin. I just put in one bobby pin on on each side in the front, and i know i'm definitely gon na - have to sew in some combs, because it feels a little loosey-goosey and when you go out, you really do want to feel confident that your your wig Is not going to go anywhere, so i would definitely sew in columns. I just didn't have time, because guess what i'm leaving town tomorrow, that's right! I'M headed to the big d and i have a gazillion things to do today. Okay, so i see my pen is here, which is not good, so i'll. Take that out. Let me see if i can find a smaller one, and also my part is not straight, so i need to get that together as well. So, let's put a smaller bobby, pin here again just a hole and having problems with this bobby pin yeah. So that's why you definitely need to have a um. I would definitely do comb, so you wouldn't have to worry about the bobby pins. Okay and now, let's center, let's put the part in the center now. My part is not as deep this time around with my hair being braided, you can make your part as deep as you like, though, whatever you feel comfortable with, because the goal is again for the front to be your hair and for the back to be the Wig and of course, you want to make sure that you've combed it really really well, so that you can't see any tracks and also so that your hair blends right on in while i'm getting this together. I wanted to mention um, if you guys are in the market for some wonderful smelling scents check out perfect scents and they have a lot of designer fragrances and body oils, and things like that. You can check them out. They have over 200 fragrances and they were kind enough to uh. Send me a couple and i have michael kors. I have this one. It smells just like michael kors, and i have a second one which is viva la juicy and uh. It smells just like juicy couture and you can check them out. Their website is www.makingperfectsense.webs.com, of course, i'll put that information in the info box. It smells really really good, though so check them out very, very lovely, and i like these little uh body oils that you can just plop in your purse and you can just roll them on at any time to freshen yourself up. Okay, so i believe i am finished, but i need a brush, so if you guys will hold on one more minute or second, i'm gon na pick up a brush. So i can just paddle brush her out and i'll, be right back so stay tuned to the beauty song. Okay, i am back and i'm trying to stand back far enough for you guys to be able to see um the hair from the top of my head until the bottom, and she is pretty long. This is 18 inches in the at the bottom. Then i go. 16 and then the top is 14.. I wanted to do different layers this time so that i can have more versatile styles and i could actually you know, do some curls and it would have more layers. So this is the front, and again i'm just using just a regular paddle brush here pick this up from sally's. This is the back really really pretty and again what i really love about doing this u-shaped wig that you make yourself is the fact that you can take it off at night. You put it back on the next day. Unlike a weave, you are not. You know locked into that hairstyle for two to three months, and you know you can just change up and be a little more versatile, again you're using the front of your own hair. So that makes it look more realistic, and this is some really really pretty hair. Really pretty very silky and i'll be anxious to see can't wait to see how she does over time to see if she starts to tangle and i'm telling you 18 inches now see 18 inches on me is almost down to my buttocks. That'S 18 inches. Very very long of me. I'M about five two and a half so 18 inches on me goes a long way all right. I think that's going to do it for me today on the beauty zone, so don't forget to check out misswigs.com, and this is the miso weaving hair. They do have a holiday sale going on. So i will put all of that information in the info box and i want you guys to take care. If i don't do another video before christmas, make sure you guys have a very merry christmas. I love you, take care, be good to each other, be good to yourself, especially, and i will see you real real soon.
