Do U Wigs Choice Wig In Milk Brown Unboxing + First Impressions | Neveen Wood

Hello and welcome to my channel i'm naveen wood and in today's video, i'm gon na, be talking about this wig that i am wearing now um. It'S very uh 90s, like in terms of the coloring, but if you're interested in hearing more about this wig and my thoughts and all of that stay tuned and keep on watching, okay to start off with this wig was gifted to me in exchange. For my honest opinion and review, and the brand is called, do you wigs and i'll start off by showing you the gorgeous packaging? It comes in this like sleek black box with gold, letterings save the earwigs has like this um gold rim. When i received this, it was completely sealed and like plastic or like, is it plastic cling film? No, it's not cling film. Is it um? It was a completely sealed, okay, so and yeah. Let me show you what was what comes inside? Obviously the wig that i'm wearing now, which to be honest, i didn't really customize much all i did - was cut a bit of the lace and washed it and you know tried heat styling it and things like that. Just to give it an initial test run to see you know how it washed, how it heat styled, how it like air dried in that sort of thing. So keep that in mind. I will do a part two where i will. You know show how i further customize this piece, um, probably like, showing like um, how i hide the knots a bit and and make it look just more natural, so stay tuned if and subscribe, if you're interested in seeing part two but anyways back to the box. Open the box it's gold inside and it comes with uh wig grips the little poofy thing so that the wig keeps its shape. A lovely thank you card with all the information social media website on the back for duawigs i'll leave the information on screen as well as down below. If you want to go check them out um. This is the care instructions, the uh plastic bag that it comes in and this little like satin, uh, drawstring bag or pouch. Where you can store it, you know use it for travel to take the wig with you um these kind of bags, or this kind of storage is great to prevent tangling with your your wigs and your pieces, because the it's a very soft material and the hair Will just kind of slide around so yeah? That'S that's! What'S inside the box, so the name of this particular wig is called the choice wig in the color milk brown. It'S basically a light. Brown with chunky highlights chunky. Blondish blonde highlights, i will be taking it off in a few moments, to show you the inside, like construction of the cap and give you all the information like about the cap and all of that. But first i wanted to to give you my pros and cons for this wig keep in mind disclaimer. A lot of these pros and cons are based off of personal preference. There are some things i like about a piece that you might not like, and there might be something that i don't like, that you might love in a wig or a hair, topper or whatever. So just keep that in mind. You know when i go over these so first pro the cap is incredibly comfortable. Like it's it's secure, i don't feel the need to glue this down. I could, if i wanted to, but it just feels secure and it's comfortable and it feels breathable and easy to wear, despite it being really hot in this room right now, because it's like well, i mean it's summer. This is getting hot, you know, and i'm i find the couch to be incredibly comfortable. Second, pro would be hair quality. The hair is incredibly soft, it washed well it air dried, pretty straight and nice, and it took to heat styling really. Well, i added a bit of like a little wave which fell down after a couple of you know a day or two on my mannequin head, but it it heat styles really well. Overall, the hair feels really nice and soft and lightweight it's not too dense of a wig. It'S it's the kind of density i would enjoy in a piece like i don't feel like. I have you know chewbacca on my, you know it's not too much hair and it just it. It'S it's a nice quality hair. Next pro would be. For me the color. I mean it's not for everyone, it's not for everyone. I posted a picture of this me wearing this wig on instagram and the the comments were pretty mixed. Some said no to chunky, highlights the other half said yay chunky highlights, and i mean, like i said it's a pro and a con. If you like, the chunky highlights, you know they're there they're chunky, if you don't like the chunky, highlights, go for another color or get this with the intent. Knowing that you will be customizing it that's another pro for me, i am not sure i will keep the chunky highlights. I think i'm going to have them softened and just you know, thinned out to make them look a little bit more natural and blended in with the other color. So but you know i can uh have my bit of 90s fun until then, okay and now for a few cons. Now, like i said at the start, my cons could be your pros. Your pros could be my cons that you know just it's just my opinion. On this, the first one would be probably like i said in the pros the chunky highlights. If you don't like chunky highlights, you won't like this piece. If you order it thinking, it's going to be milk brown, like just brown, and you know i in the pictures i didn't see. These highlights not like this chunky of a highlight - or maybe i just blanked out, but just keep in mind. These are pretty chunky and you will have to you know: customize it and soften them up and stuff, but you can, it is human hair, so you can dye it and do also customize. It, however, way you want okay. This next con is a bit of a tricky one, because it's not so much a con. It'S just something. You should be aware of my do you wigs box, the sealed box in this color and this style arrived directly from china. Now there's nothing wrong with that. Um i have several hair toppers from that. I'Ve ordered directly from chinese vendors and a lot of wig brands and topper brands and companies. Um use chinese vendors or factories for their hair pieces like, and then they customize it in house or you pay a markup for the customization, the coloring, the quality control that a brand offers when they order a piece from a chinese vendor, and then they customize it. They cut it and they style it and die. Not all brands do this um just you know several. Do it's a whole thing, probably for another video, this information isn't readily available on their website. I looked on the website. I couldn't find anything um. So if you are ordering from dewey wigs just so, you are aware that the piece might come directly from china. Like i said it's not so much exactly a con, it's just something you should be aware of. If you plan to order a piece from do your wigs okay last con, but not like again, i i don't know if it's supposed to be. This is supposed to be the way it is um in the ear tabs. There is a clip on this side, but there is no clip on this side and there was no um extra clips in my box. So just be aware of that that there is only one clip attached on one side if you are hoping to secure the wig using clips on both sides, so yeah just soon, so you know now quickly take it off. So i can show you the inside base of the cap and the construction and go over all the details, and all of that - and here it is the choice wig in the color milk brown. It'S a swiss lace with long european hair. The cap size is medium and it's a 100 percent processed european hair, there's a lot of other colors and lengths available as well on the website which will be linked down below. If you want to go check it out, it has a wefted, closed cap and a double swiss lace cover top and it's a lace front from temple to temporal for a natural front hairline. I know what i've been saying sounds incredibly decorative, but i like this wig. It'S nice, the hair quality is soft. The cap is incredibly comfortable. I love the lace front. I love everything about it. I mean, besides the chunky, highlights which i can fix, because it's human hair, so i can, you know, customize it and get it softened up and get it to my liking. I love the length it's perfect if it feels lightweight it. Just i really like this wig, but i want you to be aware of what you're getting into at this. If you purchase this wig, you know as much as information as i can give you. You know from my standpoint: i'm not a wig expert, i'm just someone with androgenic alopecia, who enjoys wearing alternative hair to cover her thinning head. You know so take my words with a grain of salt. I am i'm no expert, i am no stylist and i'm just relaying everything i think and all of my opinions, whether they're good or bad. So do you. So i haven't fully customized this just yet, because i wanted to give you my initial kind of impressions and review, because if i it'll just be like an hour long video and i tend to ramble on quite a lot.
