Hang ya'll is faithful, ninety-three and thank you all for tuning back into my channel today and today I am just going to give you guys an update on my natural hair. I got a ton of response and stuff from my strength in my natural for CN video, and some of you guys want to know how I grew my hair um. This link, like all the things that I did to grow it, and I don't really think it's that long, but it has grown a lot. It has gone a good bit so we're just gon na get right into the video. I have 5 things that have grown. My hair to this length, if you this is, I have had - I have them natural for four years, so yeah that can be cember. The tourists in December marked for years natural for me. So if you have seen my um my three years, natural video, then you'll see that I have color it's their own tips of my hair and stuff. I was trying to I've, been trying to grow that color out and cut it. So I have been cutting the color out of my hair, so my hair probably could have gotten a lot longer within this past year. But since I was cutting color out my hair, it set the link that it is now, but I really really like it it it has grown. So I know it's grown because it's longer than what it was when I did have the color on my ends. So I'm just I'm really happy with my results. Okay, so I'm about to go over basically five things that I've done, but then past year to get my hair to grow, the link that it has and the first thing is biotin. I have been taking biotin this spring valley by 10 5000 MC G's since around I want to say, July June or July, like consistently I'll take a pill every single day. So I think this is like my. I want to say my second or third bottle, but right now I am off of this. I'M just giving my body a break from the biotin I'll, probably start taking it again, maybe April or so so, I'm just kind of giving my hair a break so that when I do check these again it'll just kind of shock, my hair and my hair will Start growing because your body can start to get used to things, okay, so the second thing that is very, very important to growing your hair, especially african-american hair, is deep conditioning, and I just found that out like last year and closer to like August, or so I Didn'T realize how important deep conditioning your hair is so I'll, usually on the condition my hair after I wash it and I'll. Let the deep conditioner sit for about an hour and what I'll do I'll, i'm very heavy-handed with my deep conditioner. So i just covered my whole hair in deep conditioner. Then i put a shower cap on and then i'll put like i'll put my towel. On top of that that i dried off with then i'll put a hat on top of my head. If I do want here I'll put my little blow-dryer cap on or whatever just saw that on the deep conditioner penetrates really really well, so that's what I've been doing. I'Ve been deep conditioning my hair, and I am gon na - make a separate video on line. My top deep conditioners that I like to use because y'all like deep conditioning is like correcting me. It was packed in my hair. I really really loved it. So I I think, that's really what's helped me because it really kept my ins from like not splitting and stuff so yeah y'all need good condition. Ok, so the third thing I'd say that helped me grow. My hair out is keeping my hair stretched. I haven't been wearing my hair, my natural hair out much usually after I wash and you conditioned my hair. I will blow dry my hair out and then I break it up and put it in a wig or weave or whatever. So I like to keep my hair stretched. I just find that it helps me like prevent like breakage and stuff, because when I do wearing my natural hair out, I tend to get lazy with it and I'll just put it up in a puff and rock a puff for like a few days and then By the time I'm ready to take it out and wash my hair, my hair is so shrunken up and stuff, and it's so tangled and everything. So when I go to detangle, I lose so much hair and yeah. It'S just it's horrible. So keeping my hair stretched has really really helped okay, so the fourth thing I, as you may have noticed, is I do a lot of protective styling. I wear wigs braids, mostly like my wigs and my crochet, braids or key, like that's what I wear all the time and I do my own hair. So I usually will wear my hair in a protective style for about three weeks and then take it down. Wash it and I'll. Just put my hair back up watch the condition blow-dry it out, put it back up any protective style, and that has been working for me. Okay. So the last thing that I do that has been helping. My hair, I think, is actually washing my hair. I know when I first went natural. You know: sulfate, free and silicone free paraben, free, like all of those types of products, were big or whatever, but now I just yeah, I just don't even care. If I can find me a good shampoo, that's gon na ladder up and cleanse my hair, then that's what I use so I'll, usually wash my hair every three weeks um. Lately I've been going towards a lot of salon, um styling products, so I use joy, Co. Moisture retention, shampoo in my hair, bio, silk and stuff like that and usually I'll get all that stuff it like TJ Maxx for cheap because they be having it on sale. So I'm not spending and bunches of money on salon classic products so yeah but yeah. I think washing my hair has really really helped because it helps to keep my scalp clean. My scalp can get really really dirty, especially in my protective stylist, because um I I like to work out. So when I do work out, my hair sweating got the sweating so being able to wash. My hair is really really good, because I do get a lot of product build-up. I do get a lot of buildup on my scalp and stuff so and also um keeping your hair moisturized. I guess that's number six, so keeping my hair moisturized, so my hair is in protective style. I will all my scalp a lot out all my hair. If it's kind of, if I'm wearing like braids, I will all like the whole shaft of the braid, just to make sure that my hair is getting that wall. I do have a spray bottle with water, sometimes I'll put a little bit of conditioner in it and I'll just spray. My scalp, like all around, especially when I have crochet braids. It'S really really easy to get to my scalp when I wear those so um yeah. I just keep your hair moisturized. That is major key major key to success. You do not want to walk around here with brittle dry hair, or else your hair is just gon na break off so yeah. So you guys, I think, that's about it. That'S all that I've been doing, and I've been doing that like going hard with that fur since around July. So all these things that I've been doing - I will continue to do this to my hair and I am I'm gon na try to start eating better and drinking more water. So hopefully that will contribute warrants in my hair growth and I'm just excited to see where my hair is going to be by the end of this year. So um yeah, I think that's about it. So if you guys have any questions or comments, leave them down below, and I will see you guys in my next video bye
